Chapter 1503: New Goal
Chapter 1503: New Goal
Nathan and the others had arrived on the beach west of the empire. Since the matter wasn’t spread, no one was seeing them off, which was what Nathan wanted as well.
They had disrupted this continent enough, so it was best to just go back. Besides, they had gotten a lot of benefits.
Crotto, the alien, accompanied them as well. Luna had introduced him to them the previous night, so no one had any confusion or objection anymore.
Then, Nathan summoned Kun. The massive whale, the size of a city, descended from the sky.
Nathan snapped his fingers, teleporting everyone onto Kun’s back. "We’re here. Let’s go, Kun."
Kun let out a high-pitched cry that spread wider than the sound of thunder. It sounded like the roaring sound of a train horn, announcing its departure.
"Kun has really grown big." Bella shook her head helplessly. "At this rate, how big will he become?"
"According to Kun himself, his size at his peak is about 10 times that of the capital city. He could probably swallow a small island easily."
"What?" Bella gasped. She thought Kun was big, but not that big.
Nathan shrugged. If Kun existed on present-day Earth, he could probably be seen from a satellite.
Then again, Nathan expected Kun to grow even stronger. Once he evolved and his strength rose to a true god level, Kun should be at least as big as a small planet.
Of course, Kun had thought about it and planned to learn a technique to change his size like Jinwu.
Nathan chuckled. "Well, it’s been a year since we arrived here. I wonder what the others are doing right now."
Vivian asked, "We should probably think about what to present in the magic tower. You are going to spread some of the things we’ve found on this continent, right?"
"Yeah. I think it’s best for you to discuss it with Melissa. After all, Melissa wants to become a royal teacher, correct? If she can use some of the things here, it will definitely give her the right to become one immediately."
Vivian thought for a moment.
Melissa was quite surprised. She had come here for her own revenge, so she didn’t expect a benefit, especially when she was the one intruding at the last moment.
"Are you sure?"
"Yeah." Nathan nodded. "You’ve helped us as well, so don’t worry about it."
"All right." Vivian pointed to the side. "Let’s discuss it over there?"
"Got it." Melissa agreed and moved away.
"Now that you mention it, what are you all going to do after this?" Bella asked. "I mean, Evelyn and I will be following Nathan. How about you, Revon?"
"I don’t know yet." Revon shook his head. "I plan to visit my family’s graves. I have been thinking about following them after fulfilling my revenge, but I think it’s just a cowardly move. They will probably dislike me if I do such a thing."
"That’s good," Bella agreed. She didn’t want him to die just like that.
Revon shrugged. "So, for now, I don’t know what I’m going to do. Maybe get some rest for a week or two. Then, an adventure? I don’t plan to make another mercenary group, but maybe I want to increase my experience so that I can tell them everything I’ve experienced when I meet them again."
"I see." Bella could understand him. Revon truly loved his family. Even when Evelyn recruited him for the first time, Revon had never looked at Evelyn.
So, it was understandable for Revon to choose to live for his family.
"How about you, Christopher?"
"Me? Well..." Christopher scratched the back of his head. "I’ve become a fallen priest because of the Death Society. So, I’m thinking about going back to church. If the Pope is willing to take me back, I will repent and spend the rest of my life preaching."
"Do you want me to help you with that? I can ask the Pope about it." Nathan asked.
"No." Christopher shook his head. "Please don’t. This is my matter. It shouldn’t be influenced by any views, especially political views."
"I understand. I wish you luck, Christopher." Nathan nodded in understanding.
"I guess it’s Sonia now?" Bella grinned.
"..." Sonia looked down. She couldn’t answer them simply because she didn’t know the answer. No matter how hard she thought about it, nothing came to her mind.
The first time they met Sonia, she had been brainwashed and had little memory of herself. They had taken care of her like a little sister.
But even after finishing the ultimate goal, she didn’t know what she wanted to do.
So, there was only one answer. "Can I... follow you?"
Bella raised her eyebrows. She first looked at Evelyn, who nodded her head.
"How about this?" Bella raised one finger. "We’ll adopt you as our sister."
"Really?" Sonia’s eyes brightened.
"Yep. How is it? Call me big sister!"
"Yes. I want it. Big sisters!" Sonia nodded furiously.
"Hahaha. Come here, my sister." Bella patted Sonia’s head while laughing.
Evelyn, on the other hand, turned to the remaining person. "What are you going to do next, Neyeid? Unlike any of us, you have a big family."
"I am thinking about helping you and Nathan." Neyeid raised two fingers. "First, I will take care of my family and live my present life, so you don’t have to worry about that. Second, I plan to establish the beggar sect on Gratzel. This way, you can access any information through me."
"You sure?"
"Yeah. Don’t worry. I will get my own benefit from this system. Besides, I want to repay you for this revenge."
"I see. That’s good then." Evelyn nodded. "I guess we will head to the alien world after this, Nathan?"
"We will make our way to their world, yes. However, that also means we have to start creating our own rules and become divine beings. I don’t plan to bring anyone who doesn’t even have a single rule."
Evelyn could understand his worries, considering the opponent they faced would definitely have this kind of power.
"As for the details..." Nathan shifted his gaze to Crotto.
