Chapter 1610: Unimaginable Enemy If Combined

Chapter 1610: Unimaginable Enemy If Combined

"I repeat. This is a trap!"

Nathan’s expression turned grim. On the one hand, he wanted to go there straight away. On the other hand, he had to confirm the danger hiding in this outpost first.

Without confirming the threat, Nathan couldn’t be assured that the jinx was focused on Luna’s place.

Nathan asked, "Fenrir?"

"I sense nothing. In fact, is there even a strong alien here?"

"What?" Nathan was dumbfounded. This place was deep in alien territory. In addition, it was suitable for a nest.

It would be unusual for this place to have no strong aliens. "A trap?"

That was the only conclusion that could describe the current situation. The aliens wanted him to enter the city. Why?

"Noelle, Selena, Iris. Get ready. This might be another trap."

They immediately raised their guard. The first one to notice something was wrong was Fenrir.

"Wait. I heard something. Something from underneath us."

"!!!" Nathan widened his eyes and focused everything on his hearing. It was at this time that he realized what was going on.

"Noelle! Jump!" Nathan shouted.

Noelle was confused, but she followed Nathan’s instructions.

Both of them jumped at the same time before the ground suddenly cracked. The crack actually extended to the entire outpost.

Suddenly, multiple tentacles broke through the ground and lifted the ground, along with the buildings on top of it. They pushed the ground away.

Each tentacle was 40 meters long and 10 meters thick. And there was no indication that this was the limit.

Two dozen tentacles ultimately came out and swept everything away, revealing a massive hole.

The hole was so deep that even Nathan couldn’t see what was inside it.

Still, a massive alien emerged. The alien had the head of an octopus, but the way it moved the tentacles looked like a tree moving its roots rather than an octopus.

The big head contained multiple big, glowing green eyes that watched in all directions.

"What in the world..." Nathan gasped. This alien was probably the biggest alien he had ever seen.

The alien’s height reached a hundred meters, but the tentacles actually extended five times that number.

The alien’s size was already approaching Kun’s current size, which was already equal to the size of a big city.

Nidhogg and Fenrir looked tiny compared to this colossal alien. This alien was not the only one coming out. There were numerous aliens that followed this colossal alien from the hole.

All divine beasts couldn’t help but agree on one thing.

They said the same thing. "That alien might have four rules!"

...

Evelyn was also facing a strange situation. She was probably the one who got the weirdest enemy.

Skeletons were actually emerging from the buildings and surrounded them.

The skeletons moved fast and even used ena.

"Alavenya!" Evelyn warned Alavenya.

"I know."

Both of them turned around, protecting each other’s backs. They then punched forward, generating enough force to blow them away.

When the skulls broke, they could see the same thing. An insect-like alien emerged from the broken skulls and flew around.

These insects looked like mosquitoes, but their abdomens were glowing green.

Alavenya couldn’t help but recall one of the stories Selena once told them. When they were discussing with Flora’s aunt, they ended up encountering insect-like aliens that could possess people.

"Noelle. These insects might be possessing them. Selena had encountered them once."

"!!!" Evelyn widened her eyes in shock. "That doesn’t sound good. No, it sounds extremely bad."

"What?" Alavenya frowned. The situation might not look good, but it didn’t seem that bad. They could still destroy this place and kill these aliens.

"This is the second largest city with the most population in the Asura Palace. The number of people that used to live here alone was... a few hundred thousand."

"!!!" Alavenya’s jaw dropped. She almost forgot the identity of their destination.

And that was just counting the number of people in the city.

In other words, the best possible situation for them was the fact that they were surrounded by a few hundred thousand aliens.

And with the jinx.

"Oh no..." Alavenya panicked.

"We might have to face at least a million aliens here." Evelyn smiled wryly. "But at least we know the situation. The danger has been split into three parts. We should retreat and regroup according to our initial plan."

Alavenya couldn’t help but agree. Just imagining what happened if this kind of danger combined gave chills down her spine.

They might end up facing dozens of elite class aliens and even a strong commander-type alien that Luna faced. More importantly, these aliens would be led by a strong alien with four rules.

Last but not least, the aliens would have an army in the millions. Any aliens they killed that still maintained their forms could be resurrected by these insects.

They would fight an unbeatable and immortal army.

If this kind of army ever came to the Azilia Kingdom, Alavenya couldn’t imagine the number of casualties they would suffer.

The front line would definitely collapse, and the kingdom would have a hard time maintaining its defense line.

In other words, the Azilia Kingdom might end up getting destroyed.

...

Nathan also received the concerning reports. He immediately grabbed Noelle’s shoulder and teleported away from the battlefield.

The colossal alien sent forth all its tentacles to stop Nathan.

"Get back!"

Fenrir and the others wanted to take this attack head-on, but the only one that had the size to take it was Kun. But even Kun would have a hard time facing so many tentacles.

So, the only way to avoid this attack was to teleport away. Nathan had to teleport everyone away.

There was still one more goddess who could handle this kind of alien.

Nathan immediately summoned Tiamat.

Tiamat looked up. Her size was half the alien’s, but her power should be able to match his size.

"So, this is the being that tried to destroy this world. They’re ugly." Tiamat squinted.

The alien sent forth its tentacles.

Tiamat simply gathered her power in her lungs as all five heads released a breath. The breath was different from Orochi’s or Nidhogg’s.

The breath contained so much power that it was pushing the alien back into the hole.

When the alien fell back into the hole, the breath continued to fly forward and hit one mountain before exploding, destroying the entire mountain.
