Summoners War: Only I Summoned Divine Beasts

Chapter 1643: Training

Chapter 1643: Training

For the next month, Nathan fully focused on his training with Tiamat. As Nathan said, he wouldn’t complain even if she beat him hard.

In the end, Anubis ended up healing him a couple of times. It was a bit brutal, considering his opponent was Tiamat.

She held nothing back as Nathan wished.

Still, Tiamat was surprised a couple of times. Nathan actually managed to come up with three new techniques.

At one time, he was surrounded by her flame with no way to go. Her flame burned even the spiritual energy and made the void chaotic. As a result, teleportation wouldn’t work.

Nathan had to use his domain to somehow escape from it, but the chaos energy from the flame also affected his power, which resulted in him having to invent a new technique.

This new technique allowed him to copy and save himself to a certain location. Normally, he would rewind himself by using the domain, but this time he actually managed to split his existence into two. Once he was safe, he erased the endangered existence.

Thanks to this ability, Nathan had a way to overcome any ability that could render his usual techniques useless. At the very least, he should be able to sustain his life.

He called this technique ’Dual Existence.’

The second technique was actually an improvement on the technique that he got from the original Nathan. Chrono Vision allowed him to take a glimpse of the future. It was only a few seconds into the future, but he could see what would happen to him.

With this vision, he could avoid most dangers.

However, Nathan improved it to a whole new level that earned the praise of Tiamat.

The name of this technique changed to Infinite Eyes, which actually reflected the infinite pattern on his eyes.

Infinite Eyes took a glimpse of the infinite possibilities within the next few seconds. It wouldn’t change its name if it only reached this level.

Nathan actually made it in a way that he could alter the possibility he was planning to choose.

At one time, Tiamat was charging her blade. There were many possibilities, but there were three that would make much more sense.

The first was Tiamat burning him, the second possibility was Nathan leaping to the right to avoid it, and the third possibility was neutralizing this breath with his own power.

Nathan chose the third possibility. It wasn’t simply neutralizing it. He actually erased the possibility of breath in that future.

The chaos energy from the breath would still remain but it was weakened severely. So, he just used a portion of his energy to fully neutralize it.

It had such a bad result because he used it against Tiamat. If he fought against any world class summoners in the world, he could probably erase their attacks just by standing still.

The last one was probably the trickiest. Nathan couldn’t use it all the time. The technique was called Dimension Alteration.

By using this ability, he was granted access to alter anything in the four dimensions. In other words, he could change the shape of an item.

This power was actually quite similar to the power of reality. It was because he made it in such a way that it could become the foundation of his fight against Azathoth.

He had to alter reality in one way or another. After all, if Azathoth fully controlled this dimension, killing him would destroy this universe. So, he had to remove Azathoth from the control of this dimension so that removing him and the black cell wouldn’t destroy them.

Still, using this power was easier said than done. If he altered something too much, he would break it.

In the end, it couldn’t alter the reality completely, such as the property of the item.

However, he managed to alter the breath and sent it back to Tiamat.

With such a condition, Nathan ended up failing most of the time he tried to use this technique. Nevertheless, it was a good first step for his big fight.

It was also why Tiamat believed this technique was much more important than the Infinite Eyes.

Because of these three new techniques, Nathan got Tiamat’s permission to access the original Nathan’s ability. She believed Nathan wouldn’t be affected too much by the original Nathan’s thought.

Meanwhile, Xolotl was quite busy with the other divine beasts. As the primary mentor of the divine beasts, he had to ensure that all of them had the chance to become a true god.

Then again, they were pretty excited. They wanted to become true gods.

Nathan had also figured out the four traits that represented their evolution.

Odin, who was supposed to be the leader of Asgard, should be a true god. Yet Fenrir actually managed to kill him.

That was because Fenrir’s ability was so unique that it could even clash against a true god.

That was why ’Talent’ actually represented power. The higher the number was, the closer their power was to the true god level.

The other one that was the most obvious was ’Potential.’ It was a status that represented the amount of karma and baptism. Fenrir and Xolotl had shown enough proof for it.

On the other hand, ’Progress’ and ’Growth’ were related to the divine vessel.

Specifically, ’Progress’ represented how far the divine vessel had been created. Meanwhile, ’Growth’ meant the assimilation of the divine body and the divine vessel. Eventually, they needed this new vessel to be their new body.

But unlike the transition from a mortal body to a divine body, they didn’t need to cast away the former. Rather, it was meant to assimilate with the new divine vessel.

Only after all of them were filled to 100% could they finally advance to the true god level.

There was another requirement, though.

They needed to possess a hundred million ena. It might not be much, but without this much energy, they wouldn’t have enough power to fuel their abilities.

It might not be mandatory, but it definitely gave them a comfortable position.
