Summoners War: Only I Summoned Divine Beasts

Chapter 1712: Three Abilities

Chapter 1712: Three Abilities

"!!!" Olo was quite surprised by the request.

According to Cthulhu, Nathan knew that this world wasn’t the only one that could put up a resistance. There were other planets as well.

In other words, there should be other chosen ones. The chosen ones from these planets shouldn’t be similar to Luna or Bianca, who acted like his support. The chosen ones from these planets should be similar to him.

They were the people who could truly make a difference by themselves.

That was why Nathan wanted to work together with them if they were that strong. If they worked together, their chances of defeating the black cell would increase.

Olo paused for a moment. Unfortunately, he said, "You can only go there and find out for yourself. I can’t give you the answer you want."

Nathan couldn’t help but furrow his brows. On the one hand, he had expected this answer. On the other hand, there was a pause before he answered the question.

That pause might be related to the answer he wanted. There might be people he could recruit along the way. However, Olo might have been instructed not to tell them anything about these people.

There might be various reasons, but Nathan could think of two possibilities.

The first possibility was to avoid Azathoth. He didn’t want to give away the information about these planets or their inhabitants.

If this were true, Azathoth wouldn’t need him to speak. His thoughts would reach him. Hence, Olo might know something, but he didn’t know any details. This way, even if Azathoth figured out that there were other planets, he would have to find them himself.

Those planets didn’t have his marks yet, so they could still operate firmly.

The aliens might have been hiding this information to avoid information leaks, which would jeopardize their carefully considered plan.

The second possibility was Olo truly didn’t know anything about these planets. He was just a guide, so there was no way he would be given important information like this. It would be better to ask Cthulhu, who was the leader of the mission on this planet.

Nathan could also go to the alien world and ask Nyarlathotep personally.

"Is there anything you’d like to know?" Olo asked.

Nathan wanted to ask a lot more questions, but he doubted Olo would answer. After all, the questions in his mind were much deeper into their plan.

So, it would be better to hold back those questions until he met the leader of the alien resistance group.

Nathan thought for a moment. "I only have one more question. What are Yog-Sothoth’s abilities? The transition portals sound good, but I want to know everything you know."

Olo paused for a moment. "I don’t know how many techniques he has, but his manipulation of space and time is superb. He is still by far better than you.

"His manipulation is so exquisite that you won’t know which one is the correct timeline anymore. If you wish to challenge him, you need to prepare a lot of things. I don’t think Yog-Sothoth can be defeated by a single person. At the same time, if you can’t kill him by yourself, it will be impossible to eradicate the black cell. Yog-Sothoth is the key to defeating the black cell."

"!!!" Nathan widened his eyes. He certainly didn’t expect this one. "You know Yog-Sothoth is the key?"

"No. However, the target is clearly on Yog-Sothoth. So, either he is the last defender who can mess with the plan, or he will play a role in defeating the black cell. Looking at his power, it’s most likely the latter."

Nathan frowned. If that were the case, why would Yog-Sothoth descend to this world and destroy everything? He kept doing it, which caused the original Nathan to lose his mind and spirit.

Yog-Sothoth sounded more like the former in the original Nathan’s journal. However, that might change if Yog-Sothoth had another plan.

So Nathan continued to think. If Yog-Sothoth had another plan, there might be more things to discover.

It might be because the plan was so complex that the black cell wouldn’t be able to figure out everything.

Nathan asked, "Is there anything else? Maybe something that I can use."

Olo understood his needs. "There might be three things that you want to consider. The first one is his ability to move from one timeline to another. When you fight him, you have to defeat him in all timelines. Right now, your power is too low to even fight in multiple timelines at the same time.

"Without being able to do it, you won’t be able to defeat him. Hence, I suggest you try creating this technique so that you can put up a fight against him."

Nathan crossed his arms. He certainly had thought about it, but he already had a solution and he was currently working on it. "What about the other two?"

"The second technique is the ability to predict the future. Currently, you are moving in the present while looking at the present. And in multiple timelines, you are going to move at the same time.

"However, you might want to consider moving yourself differently in different timelines. He can see and move his existence accordingly in different timelines.

"And the last ability will be timeline destruction. If you want to kill him, you need to defeat him in all timelines. Without being able to erase him at the same time, it is impossible to kill him even if you manage to defeat him in all timelines."

"Won’t reality become unstable if I erase all those timelines?" Nathan asked.

"No, it won’t. Azathoth will be there."

Nathan couldn’t really deny it. Azathoth might be known as a blind idiot, but he was extremely powerful. As long as he was there, reality existed. In other words, even if he did something, Azathoth’s existence would prevent it from collapsing.

In other words, Nathan could erase all the timelines to defeat Yog-Sothoth and vice versa without worrying about reality. It would be a different matter if he wanted to defeat Azathoth, though.
