Chapter 1713: Awake
Chapter 1713: Awake
"Khh..." Bianca let out a groan as she finally opened her eyes after so long.
Bianca looked left and right. She was already aware where she was, but this was the first time she looked at the room she was kept in.
It was a rather luxurious room, something she had never had before.
"Have you woken up?" A female voice echoed from the side.
Bianca turned to the side and saw a beautiful woman. It could be said that this woman’s beauty rivaled Evelyn’s. She was quite surprised that she could find a woman as beautiful as her again.
"Who... are... you...?" Bianca asked, her voice hoarse. After not speaking for so long, she had a hard time moving her mouth.
"You can call me Hela." Hela nodded with a smile. "Let me bring you a drink first."
Bianca opened her mouth but didn’t continue to speak.
After a while, Hela returned to the room with Elysion. This was the first time he had seen the man who had taken care of her for the past thirty days.
"It looks like you’ve woken up. Very good. Have a drink first. Do you want something to eat? I am making porridge for you right now." Elysion smiled, trying to assure her.
Bianca nodded her head. "Thank you."
"It’s fine." Elysion waved his hand. "Let me grab it for you first."
Without hesitation, Elysion rushed out of the room to bring the porridge.
Bianca drank the water first before Hela asked, "Are you alright? Do you know where you are?"
"Yes. I can hear everything all this time. I just can’t speak or move my body." Bianca nodded.
"I see. Your complexion doesn’t look good, but it has gotten better than before. I think you need to take a bath first. Let’s have a bath."
"That’s..."
Hela just smiled and grabbed her. "Let’s go."
In the end, she dragged Bianca to the bath. While soaking in the warm water, Hela asked, "Do you know who we are?"
"Yes. I thought it was weird at first, but after thinking for so long, I managed to connect the dots. It looks like you have met me in my previous lives..."
"To be fair, we haven’t met. The only person you’ve met is Nathan, but not this Nathan."
"I get the idea." Bianca nodded with a serious expression. "Nathan... my master... Did he take care of me because of that?"
"Don’t tell this to anyone else, alright?"
Bianca nodded furiously.
"The former Nathan was working his hardest to save this world, but he failed again and again. Elysion was helping him from time to time, but it was useless. You should have helped Nathan as well, but it might be when Elysion wasn’t helping him. That was why our paths might never cross.
"Still, Nathan recognized Elysion as his master, so that made him your grandmaster. Of course, he didn’t intend to force you to acknowledge the status.
"After all, this is a new life. The former Nathan was gone. The current Nathan might be helping you out of guilt.
"You must have worked so hard in your previous lives."
"How many previous lives have we worked together?" Bianca tilted her head in confusion.
"I don’t know for sure, but it doesn’t seem to be a low number. We’re talking about thousands... tens of thousands... if not more."
"!!!" Bianca didn’t expect to be that many. It was no wonder that Nathan felt guilty. She looked down, pondering her choices. "In that case, what do you think I should do from this point onward?"
"I don’t know actually." Hela shook her head. "Right now, you must have been marked by the enemy, so if you join the fight, they will find you. It’s not a matter of physically being found. Your thoughts would be transmitted to them as well, which made you even more dangerous."
"My thoughts?"
"Yes. If they tell you about their plan, the enemy will know about it."
"But doesn’t this look bad? He has told me about his plan in Qion." Bianca panicked. "He tells me that he’s going to cooperate with the three countries over there."
"Cooperate for what?"
"I... don’t know." Bianca shook her head. Bianca didn’t necessarily hear about this part since the plan hadn’t reached that phase yet.
Nathan had given her to Elysion before their plan worked. So, she didn’t know the entire plan.
"In that case, it should be fine. As long as you don’t know everything, it is enough. Now, what do you want to do? Unfortunately, a normal life is not possible, but we can allow you to live as normally as possible. For example, you can do whatever you want in this mansion. Unfortunately, you can’t go to other cities for the time being. You can’t take part in any important battles."
Bianca looked down. "I don’t know. I don’t know what I want to do..."
She had lost her parents, Axa and her alien father. Then, Nathan gave her to Elysion to be taken care of.
There were a lot of things to take, so she didn’t know what she wanted to do.
"That’s fine as well. You can take your time to find out."
"But I heard I can use two innate abilities... Shouldn’t I go fight the aliens?"
"Well, it doesn’t really matter. We won’t force you if you don’t want to. After all, even if you get stronger, your role will be guarding this world. Meanwhile, the others have to go outside this world to confront the aliens directly."
"..." Bianca thought for a moment. "In that case, I want to get stronger. I don’t know what I want to do, so rather than doing nothing, it’s better for me to get stronger. Once I’m strong enough, I will think about what I want to do. My adopted father always told me that strength allows me to be free."
"Is that so? It’s good then." Hela nodded in understanding.
"Can I meet with Elysion? I want to talk to him about something." Bianca’s face turned serious, but her stomach suddenly growled, making her embarrassed. "Auu..."
Hela smiled. "In that case, let’s get you something to eat first."
