On the other side, a fierce battle ensued.
A massive magic circle formed and sent out chains to shackle one alien. Luna raised her hand, forming another massive circle. Normally, she could only use one magic at a time.
However, after fully activating her divine heart, she was able to use the divine heart to create one more. This way, she could wield her power twice.
A massive spear formed from her magic circle. The alien was a humanoid with an octopus tentacle. Its appearance was similar to Cthulhu, with a pair of wings on his back.
The size was rather similar to the three aliens that Nathan had to take care of.
In fact, all the aliens that attacked this world through the current portal seemed to have a similar size.
It made targeting the alien easier.
Still, the alien grabbed her spear with its bare hands and crushed it. After that, the alien planned to free itself from the chains.
Luna frowned. Fortunately, she came here not alone.
Bella clapped her hands.
When the aliens pulled the chains as though they wanted to rip them apart, the alien found the chains becoming unbreakable.
The alien gathered its power in its mouth and let out a cry toward Bella, attempting to disrupt her energy.
"What is real?" Bella muttered. Suddenly, her body glitched before disappearing.
She reappeared in another place as she and her God of Dreams activated their power. The ground turned soft and started swallowing the alien as though it were living sand.
"!!!" The alien looked down and punched the ground. The rest of the area started to crack from a simple punch, but the area affected by the power of illusion remained intact.
Bella managed to activate her power, preventing the punch from becoming real. As a result, an illusion wouldn’t be able to make a difference.
In the past few months, she had been learning from both the God of Dreams, Morpheus, and Mae.
Her illusion had gradually increased in power to the point where she could finally become strong enough to fight on her own.
It might not be enough to face this alien completely, but her strength was enough to make a difference. With her restraining the alien’s power, Luna could fight more comfortably.
The punch on the ground had just created an opportunity for Luna.
"Stop him one more time, Bella!" Luna shouted. She raised both hands, forming two massive magic circles. There was one thing that he had been doing all this time.
All this time, Luna might be able to create many magic circles at a time, but these magic circles belonged to a single concept. After being able to manifest two concepts, Luna had always wanted to use them in this way.
"Fusion!" Luna clapped her hands.
The two concepts of magic circles were combined. The first massive magic circle was supposed to form the spear, while the second magic circle had the concept of a cannon.
Luna had to compute everything in real time. She combined and rearranged the magic circles so that they would work.
Many patterns disappeared or changed in a different way to fit the fusion.
It took her some time because she was still not used to this power.
The alien was trying to stop her, but Bella and Morpheus activated their powers at the same time.
"Illusory Dream!"
"Dream Creation."
Bella cracked the air, similar to the way Evelyn or Nathan did. However, the crack was much sturdier than theirs.
It actually stopped the alien’s arm. Meanwhile, Morpheus manifested a humanoid figure.
It was covered in darkness, but this humanoid figure let out threads that bound the other arm.
As a result, both arms couldn’t reach Luna.
"Thank you!" Luna smiled as she had finished her computation. "1st Origin Formation, Genesis Spear."
From the magic circle, a massive spear gun formed. She aimed the spear gun at the alien’s chest.
The alien raised one hand, trying to catch it. But the moment it caught the spear, the latter pierced through the alien’s hand and continued toward the chest.
"Rieee?!" The alien screamed in pain. It was confused. Why would this spear pierce its body? It was supposed to have not enough power to pierce through, just like the previous spear.
It turned out Luna’s power increased its penetrative power. However, the concept of the cannon that he fused was actually from the Genesis Cannon. This formation was meant not only for penetration but also for destruction.
The moment the spear was planted deep in its body, Luna fully activated its power. "Bloom."
"!!!" The alien looked down, panicking. The spear exploded, bursting a powerful energy that blasted open the alien’s head.
The alien spat a mouthful of blood. The black cell was trying to cover that wound to heal the alien.
It realized that Luna and Bella were much more powerful than it had originally expected.
So, the alien went berserk.
"Watch out!" Morpheus warned Bella.
"!!!" Without hesitation, Bella leaped back to regroup with Luna.
The alien swung its arm to the ground, trying to smash Luna and Bella at the same time.
"Avoid it?!" Bella asked. Since Nathan said the alien could only be stopped by someone like Luna or a true god, Bella asked for advice.
Luna knew that they had to go separate ways if they avoided this attack. At that time, the alien would be able to attack at least one of them.
Not wanting to get the same result as Nathan, Luna chose to defend instead.
"Help me!" Luna said while forming a massive magic circle, withstanding the arm.
The magic circle cracked just like the ground.
Bella took a deep breath before activating her own power. "Restoring Illusion!"
Bella used Luna’s memory to repair the magic circle, using the illusion to act as if the magic circle had never been cracked.
With the repaired magic circle, the arm stopped.
"Huuu..." Luna let out a breath of relief. "We’ll go on the defensive this time. Focus on defending the attack until it exhausts its lifespan."
"Why? We should have enough power to handle this."
"I can’t afford to have this alien go to Selena and Koraxa."
"Ah!"
That was right. There were two aliens coming here. And the ones holding back the other aliens were Selena and Koraxa.
