Summoners War: Only I Summoned Divine Beasts

Chapter 1791: Revealing the Truth

Chapter 1791: Revealing the Truth

Nathan thought about it. Loki felt like an uncontrollable force. Even though he could be an ally, his mischief knew no bounds.

He just didn’t know whether summoning Loki would help him or just stress him out.

’Still, in many of Loki’s mischiefs, the gain is greater than the problem. For example, Loki once chopped off the golden hair of Sif. Thor was furious and threatened to kill him, so Loki made amends. He visited the dwarves, leading to the creation of treasures including Sif’s new golden hair, Gungnir, and even Mjolnir.

’There was also a giant who offered to build Asgard’s walls in exchange for Freyja. Loki tricked the giant’s magical horse by turning himself into a mare. It protected Freyja and resulted in Sleipnir.

’However, the problem was the death of Baldr. He should have killed Baldr out of jealousy. If any of my wives died...’ Nathan couldn’t imagine what he would do.

He wasn’t confident that he could keep Loki as well.

After all, if someone had to summon Loki, it would be the girls. After all, Loki wasn’t a divine beast.

But looking at everyone’s familiars, the one who would summon him was Bella. She used illusions, so Loki’s power would benefit her.

The problem was that Bella wouldn’t be able to control him.

Loki might end up doing something that couldn’t be undone.

That was why Nathan could only sigh. "I should think about this later."

Nathan put the thoughts aside and focused on the more pressing matter.

’To think that the lord that Garuda and Ananta loved so much died because of Loki’s plan, I could understand the entire situation, but... I’m not sure how they’re going to react. Still, this matter... I think they have the right to know.’

Nathan scratched the back of his head. ’Why would this memory fragment come to me? It didn’t seem like the original Nathan’s memory. Was it my memory? Was it something that came from the Tesseract?’

Nathan couldn’t figure out how he came into the possession of this memory. But the fact that it appeared at this time gave him an important clue on how to approach the black cell.

It was obvious that he should visit all three ancient battlefields while heading to the alien world.

The problem would be their locations.

Of course, Nathan intended to recruit people as well. The problem would be their locations.

’Maybe there are more gods out there... Hopefully.’ Nathan sighed. ’At least, should I feel blessed for the fact that I didn’t come to an eastern fantasy world? Or else, there would be the Ancient Primordial Divine Supreme Dragon of Beginning with the Legendary Phoenix-Dragon Sun and Moon Bloodline or something along those lines to suddenly appear out of nowhere...’

Nathan rolled his eyes.

At the same time, he couldn’t help but think about Loki’s answer.

The Jade Emperor asked him whether they were still alive if they were in that state.

When he thought about it, he realized that the answer shouldn’t come from him.

’Right? I could define myself, but so could others. If the others deny me, that means I’m supposed to be alone. But isn’t this also a cowardly move? If I put all that burden on others, I’m just running away from the question that I should answer myself.’

Nathan crossed his arms. ’Maybe if it’s Lord Vishnu, he would say something like I should forgive myself first before asking for forgiveness from others. Wait. That’s the other way around. I’m not exactly the wisest.’

Nathan sighed. ’Still, Selena and the others deserved to know my story.’

Nathan wanted to tell them about his story. This might be the perfect time to tell them about it.

’I really should tell them about it, but I need to tell Xolotl, Garuda, and Ananta Shesha about what happened in the past. Marduk also mentioned Tiamat having a crucial role.’

Nathan covered his face with both hands and rubbed it, trying to make himself relax so that he could make a decision.

After a few minutes, Nathan got out of his bed and walked outside, finding all the girls waiting for him.

"Sorry for making you wait." Nathan raised his hand, trying to calm them down. "I’m fine right now. I didn’t expect that the backlash was that huge. I promise I will be more careful in the future, so please forgive me about this.

"In exchange, I will tell you something that I have been meaning to tell you the whole time." Nathan smiled.

"!!!" Evelyn and Luna looked surprised. They could only think of one topic. Nathan wanted to tell them about his existence.

They looked at each other, wondering if they should do anything about it.

However, Nathan had gathered his resolve. He intended to open up about it. There might be consequences for this action, but he believed that he should do it regardless.

Nathan smiled. "After dinner."

It was already late, but they thought they should do it.

"I’d love it if you could cook me my favorite food today," Nathan asked them with a smile.

Selena turned around, wondering what they should do. In the end, they came to a tacit understanding.

"We understand." Selena signaled for them to prepare for the meal.

Nathan then turned to Mae and used his telepathy to ask her directly, ’Mae, I need you to help me with the presentation. Can you help me?’

’I don’t mind, but are you sure about this, Master?’ Mae asked, concerned.

’Yes. This is something that they should know. So, it’s better to do it as soon as possible. I think now is the right time to do it.’

’I understand.’ Mae sighed.

’Also, can you come with me for a bit? I need to talk with everyone outside.’

’With everyone? Ah, the familiars.’ Mae was a bit confused. What kind of topic did he want to bring up? It looked like he didn’t plan to tell the girls about it yet. That was why he actually intended to tell them about him instead of this matter.

Still, Mae nodded.

Nathan smiled. He needed to discuss the memory fragment that he had just seen with everyone.
