Summoners War: Only I Summoned Divine Beasts

Chapter 1792: Support

Chapter 1792: Support

"So, this so-called God of Mischief actually planned the entire thing?" Xolotl frowned. "I never thought that the reason for my death was something like this..."

Anubis turned to Fenrir. "I think we have a justified reason to bully you this time, Idiot Wolf."

"What? I’m innocent. Doesn’t this also mean that I’ve been framed by my own father?" Fenrir asked, as if he had been wronged.

Nidhogg sighed. "To think that the souls I guided that day originated from this kind of disaster..."

"However, looking at the story, it sounded reasonable." Jinwu narrowed her eyes. "If we take a look at the situation, the only way to defeat the black cell is by taking a drastic measure."

Mae shook his head. "I don’t want to believe it completely. After all, we’re talking about the God of Mischief. This might also be another one of his mischiefs. Everyone can lie after all."

"Still, it doesn’t change the fact that the situation has turned in the direction that matches their prediction."

Qilin narrowed his eyes. "Indeed. If we move carelessly, it might destroy the current balance we have. Still, we have to continue with the information we’ve got."

Orochi harrumphed. "I couldn’t care less about this. I just want to beat those annoying aliens. Let me become a true god and I will beat the crap out of them, Summoner."

Xolotl added, "Still, it’s a bit hard to accept that my death was because of this plan."

Garuda looked down. "If it were truly because my lord was branded by the enemy, I..."

Garuda didn’t know what to say. Ananta sighed. "In that case, there’s only one thing that needs to be done. Finish what he couldn’t. This is not revenge. It’s a mission."

Garuda agreed with Ananta.

"I couldn’t care less about all these plans. All I know is that..." Tiamat gritted her teeth. "That Marduk slew me in the past, but I couldn’t even get my revenge."

Tiamat turned to Nathan. "Are you going to summon that God of Mischief?"

"I am thinking about it. He’s not someone I can control, so it’s better to think about it carefully."

"You should summon him so I can kill him. For that, I’m willing to recognize you as my sole master." Tiamat gritted her teeth. "For killing my husband, he’s not going to escape."

It was tempting to have Tiamat recognize him as her master, but summoning Loki needed to be done by the girls.

Getting enough ena to summon him shouldn’t be a problem. The problem was the motive.

Nathan shook his head. "I can’t make a decision right now. There are three reasons. First, I need to figure out the entire situation, so we won’t be blinded by just a portion of the information.

"The second reason is your will. Acknowledging me as your master is tempting, but I don’t want you to make a decision based on your anger. If we’re done here, I intend to summon your husband and even research a method to get a full resurrection.

"The third reason is I value you, Tiamat, not only as my familiar but also as my family. You are part of my new family, so I don’t intend to take advantage of you."

Tiamat glared at Nathan; her killing intent started to leak.

When other divine beasts raised their guards, realizing that Tiamat might lose control, Tiamat suddenly closed her eyes.

"You resemble my husband. You are rational and kind. That’s why I’m going to back off right now. However, you shouldn’t summon me next time and tell me about this kind of information unless it’s necessary. I might end up getting so angry that I couldn’t contain myself anymore and attack you."

Nathan smiled. "Thank you for such high praise."

"Hmph." Tiamat looked away.

"In any case, now that you know the situation, what do you think?" Nathan asked.

"I don’t have any opinions. The goal doesn’t change. We know the reasons now, but we still want to kill the black cell. That’s more than enough." Fenrir smirked.

"Of course, killing the black cell is the priority!" Nidhogg agreed. Orochi harrumphed. "If we kill a singularity, does that mean we will be the next singularity?"

"I will follow your will." Jinwu nodded to Nathan.

"I’m yours, Master. I will follow you to the end of the universe." Mae winked playfully.

"As long as there is harmony, I don’t care about other things." Qilin closed his eyes.

"We won’t be useless, Master." Peng gracefully lowered his head.

"Of course. We have a mission that needs to be completed. Even after so long, we intend to see it through, Master." Garuda agreed.

"From this point onward, you shall be my new master. As long as your goal remains the same, my loyalty is yours, Master." Ananta smiled.

Xolotl scratched the back of his head. "It’s a shame to know that I died for something like this, but I guess I helped a lot of living beings. I would take my time to think about what would happen next after defeating the black cell."

"Let’s go for the kill. All of them shall pay." Tiamat snorted.

A smile formed on Nathan’s face. He was glad that these divine beasts were his familiars. At least he understood that they were willing to support him.

"In that case, our plan won’t change. We will think about what’s next after that." Nathan raised one finger. "So, we will do what we have been doing all this time. We’ll take one step at a time."

They agreed.

"And now, it’s time for you to confront them, Master." Mae smiled.

"Do you want me to give you relationship advice?" Fenrir grinned.

"You don’t even have a partner." Anubis rolled his eyes.

Nathan chuckled. "Thanks, but I have already resolved myself, so it’s time for me to reveal the truth."

Nathan waved his hand, recalling everyone except Mae.

Nathan returned to the house and ate his meal without saying anything. The atmosphere in the dining room became tense, possibly because of their anger or the severity of the information Nathan intended to reveal.

In the end, once everyone was done with their meals, Nathan announced.

"I am... not Nathan Reckmoon."
