Chapter 1794: Things They Wanted to See

Selena and the others couldn’t exactly believe it. This kind of civilization was terrifying.

If, without any magical power, they could destroy a city with just a single weapon, they would be able to conquer the whole world.

Flora couldn’t help but ask, "Nathan, aren’t you exaggerating too much? There’s no way a weapon can be that powerful, right? Or is it another weapon with magical energy?"

As a princess, she couldn’t imagine how they would fight against a country with such a powerful weapon. And if she removed the summoners from the equation, it meant her soldiers would go back to fighting with swords and spears.

She could imagine one outcome. An annihilation. Just thinking about it made her shiver.

Clovis said, "Mae. Transport us down."

Mae nodded and snapped her fingers. All of a sudden, they teleported to the street in front of the building.

They looked at the building they were in and were stunned to find how tall the building truly was. They couldn’t sense how big or how tall the building was from the inside, but now that they could see it from the outside, they realized how amazing it was.

"If you want to see something, I can show you what this world has to offer." Nathan nodded.

Sera raised her hand. "Can I see a way to go up there? I mean, how do you climb that high? Are you not tired of climbing all those stairs?"

"You can take the stairs, but this world uses a different thing." Nathan shook his head. "Let’s get back in."

Nathan led them back into the building. He calmly pressed the elevator button and guided them inside. "This is an elevator."

He pointed to the other side, which was made of glass. It allowed them to see the entire lobby.

The elevator ascended pretty quickly, allowing them to see directly how they could go up there so easily.

"That’s how we’re able to get this high." Nathan nodded.

Flora raised her hand. "Can we see the soldiers and that weapon?"

Nathan nodded. "I can’t show you directly how they make that weapon. After all, I don’t know everything. In fact, in this world, you can get pretty all-round knowledge from your basic school."

Nathan raised his hand. Suddenly, a bus stopped.

Nathan first guided them inside before the bus started to move.

"Wow? Are we really moving this fast?"

"This carriage moves so smoothly."

"I still remember the time my butt almost cracked because of the bump on the road."

The girls looked amused.

Nathan chuckled and continued with his explanation.

"Most kids would learn how to read, write, calculate, and a lot of other stuff. Once they are done with the first step of school, they will learn more advanced things such as knowledge about the planets or advanced mathematics, or even a bit of specialization, such as music or other creative things.

"Once you’re done with middle school, you get into high school and learn a lot of other concepts. About the light, about the airplane that can take you into the sky, or even how we’re able to live with all these technologies.

"After that are just specialized schools for your own fields. If you focus on engineering, you will learn how to make a building like this, a bridge, or even a rocket that will take you to outer space. I was in high school before I came to this world, so I couldn’t give you the details."

"All kids get that kind of education?" Flora was taken aback. "All kids in this world are smarter than the nobles? No. Are they smarter than me?"

"Most kids. Still, wisdom and knowledge are two different things." Nathan chuckled. "You can get most knowledge in this world with just the press of a button. However, even if we have all that knowledge, it doesn’t make us wise.

"I see people getting so distracted while driving this carriage called a bus. There are also cars outside. Even normal families can afford one." Nathan pointed outside, showing them a family of four driving a car.

"Even the farmers?"

"Yes." Nathan nodded. "They can travel to a lot of places just by driving the cars."

"So amazing." Flora gasped.

"But when driving at such a speed, they are often distracted and get into accidents. They end up killing themselves or even killing other people because of their mistake.

"People see other people committing crimes from their devices and copy them. They do stupid things so that they can be viewed by more people. That’s why people can have more knowledge, but most can’t be called wise." Nathan sighed.

"..." They couldn’t exactly imagine how they could be so dumb even when they had learned a lot.

Nathan snapped his fingers. The scenery soon changed to a military base. "This is what you want to see, Flora."

They heard guns firing rapidly on their left. Ten people lined up and fired everything they had, destroying everything in their path.

Then, a tank bulldozed everything in its path and blasted a big metal plate in its path before the shell exploded.

Flora widened her eyes. "How are soldiers with bows and arrows to defeat something like this?"

"They don’t." Nathan chuckled. This time, his imagination summoned an attack helicopter.

A missile hit the tank from above and destroyed it in a single hit.

"What?!" Flora dropped her jaw. "That iron carriage is destroyed in a single hit? This kind of power... It’s the same as an attack from a grandmaster."

Nathan snapped his fingers and removed the roof of the bus.

He showed the maneuverability of the helicopter and even showed more of its firepower.

"It can fly that freely with that kind of attack?"

Unfortunately for her, she was about to be surprised by a missile hitting the helicopter from afar. Then, with its loud engine, the fighter jet passed over them.

"W-What? What is that?!" Flora dropped her jaw. "That kind of speed. I know that half of the world-class summoners can’t even catch up to that!"

Nathan snapped his fingers again, this time teleporting them to the sky above the city they had been in earlier.

He then set a nuke to blow up the entire city. It was such a powerful explosion that not only Flora but also all the girls dropped their jaws as they saw the mushroom cloud.

Flora covered her mouth. "Yeah. Fighting a country like this, we’re screwed."
