Summoners War: Only I Summoned Divine Beasts

Chapter 1821: Preferences

Chapter 1821: Preferences

"Yes, Sister. He used a magical ability that could bind us into a contract. I tested it personally. My heart would hurt if I didn’t follow the contract. Besides, the fact that we could understand what he was saying showed his mysterious powers."

"So, I can ask for this contract?" Khlina contemplated.

"Indeed. They’re extremely strong. When I tried to fight them, one of them could suppress us by just raising her hand. I believe all the women who came with him were as strong. Besides, there were also magical beings that popped out of nowhere."

Khlina narrowed her eyes. Nathan had the potential to cause chaos, but he didn’t do anything. Without the contract, Khlina understood that he wasn’t in the same league as the aliens.

It looked like Nathan had no intention of making them their enemies. The problem would be whether Nathan wanted to rule this world or not.

"Still, even though I was favored in the past, I escaped from that place because of my condition. I’m afraid that Master is angry..." Khlina sighed. "Bringing them might also provoke the Master’s wrath."

"I think you can trust them in this. We might not know them, but I think they’re trustworthy."

"You trust others too easily." Khlina shook her head helplessly.

"And you doubt others too easily." Hgahuku shrugged. "It will be up to you whether you want to accept it or not. After all, you are one of the five priests."

Khlina crossed her arms. After a few minutes, she finally made her decision.

She returned to the room. "I apologize for making you wait, Sir."

"It’s fine." Nathan waved his hand, treating it as no big deal. "Have you made your decision?"

"Yes." Khlina nodded gracefully. "I will lead you to the main tribe. However, I will have to warn you that I may be a priestess, but my master might not like me because I escaped from there due to my condition."

"What is this priest all about?" Nathan asked.

"Priests are the successors. We are trained to become successors so that the tribe will have a leader in the future. The master is bringing everyone, not caring whether you are poor or rich. As long as you have talent, he will train you.

"There are three priests and two priestesses. All of them, except for me, are in the main tribe."

"Hmm? Well, it doesn’t matter. The one I met is you, so I will stick with you unless you reject the proposal." Nathan shrugged.

"I understand." Khlina took a deep breath.

"Do you want to make a contract so that I don’t harm your master?" Nathan asked.

"There is no need for a contract. I understand you don’t wish for a conflict."

"Very well." Nathan nodded. "In that case, you should get a good rest first and fully adjust your breathing. It must still be quite hard for you to speak with us."

"I’m fine..." Khlina had been coughing from time to time, even though she didn’t admit it.

"In that case, please wait a moment. I’ll prepare your room."

"You don’t have to worry about that. We will be staying outside this tribe."

"That’s..." Khlina wanted to show her hospitality, but she was stupefied when Nathan summoned a massive mansion outside their tribe. This mansion made them look like they were staying in a stable.

Khlina had a hard time closing her mouth.

"This..."

"Anyway, let’s meet again tomorrow." Nathan smiled.

"I understand. Please rest well, sir. And I’d like to thank you again for healing me." Khlina politely bowed.

Nathan waved his hand before entering the house.

"Still, isn’t this too early, Nathan?" Sera asked. "It’s not even six hours."

"Yeah, but look at the sky."

"What do you mean?" Sera was confused and looked at the sky, not understanding what Nathan was trying to imply.

Evelyn muttered, "Time, huh?"

"Time?"

"Judging from how much time has passed, one day here only has 18 hours." Vivian roughly calculated the curve and the sun.

"Most likely, so it’s about to be dark in approximately an hour." Nathan nodded. "We should respect their time. Besides, I want to take another look at the spirit circle. We will adjust it for everyone. Well, I will need to somehow make it so that Iris will find it as well."

Nathan waved his hand and entered the mansion. "I’m going to rest early."

"Hold up!" Bella grabbed his shoulder. "You don’t forget that today you’re mine, right?"

"..." Nathan froze. He opened his mouth, wanting to give an excuse.

Sadly, Bella added, "If you are going to say something like we have 6 hours less a day as an excuse, I’m going to get angry. You have decided to have nine wives, so you need to live with it."

Nathan resigned his defeat. He immediately lifted Bella up and carried her like a princess. "You won, my love."

Bella kissed him on the cheek before waving to the other girls.

They could only shake their heads helplessly.

"Nathan is truly weak to temptation. At this rate, I’m worried that he will be seduced by some alien motherfuckers." Selena sighed.

"No way, right? He’s not going to be seduced by them, right?" Sera didn’t want to believe it.

"As much as I want to believe it, but look at the Earth. If you are in that kind of world where you have no conflicts, entertainment will become a part of your lives. He’s telling us about those novels, but there’s no way he has told us everything he’s read. If you think about it, there might be some adult novels. We can’t be sure about his preferences..." Flora facepalmed.

"Wait, so..." Noelle panicked. "Aren’t our positions being threatened by outsiders?"

"That’s why I asked Bella to test him." Evelyn nodded in agreement.

"Test him?" They looked confused.

"Yes. With Bella’s illusion, she can be anything he wants. I asked her to see his reactions. I figured that out after looking at the people in this world. We don’t particularly have any attraction to these people and vice versa. But Nathan likes even Valkyrie or Fox Girl like Brunhild or Mae, so there’s no telling what he will like in the future."

"Ohhh!"
