Summoners War: Only I Summoned Divine Beasts

Chapter 1822: The Conqueror of the Mist

Chapter 1822: The Conqueror of the Mist

The next day.

Nathan asked Peng to bring them to the main tribe. It looked like Hgahuku didn’t come because he was punished for breaking into the other side without permission.

"Is that..." Selena, who had been calm at most times, couldn’t contain her surprise. There was a tree as high as two hundred meters. The tree was thicker than a small hill.

Because of the thickness, the people turned it into one giant structure. In addition, the trees around it were bigger than even the tree formation that split the world into two.

Each of them was close to a hundred meters. Even the lowest one was still over fifty meters, making humans look small.

As if already knowing how to carve a tree while letting it continue to grow, they turned this ’forest’ of giant trees into a majestic city.

Ropes and bridges had been constructed all over the area.

"This is so cool." Sera cheered. "Is this the world tree or something?"

Nathan shook his head. "Nope. The world tree I know is so big that its roots pierced the ground until it was covered in magma, its trunk rose so high that it covered the world, its branches were so long that it became a bridge to other realms."

"That’s just your world tree... Other world trees are smaller. Even the spirit told me that their world tree was only about two to three times bigger than that one." Vivian pointed at the big tree while shaking her head helplessly.

"..." Khlina was astounded. She couldn’t help but think, ’Then what? Is our world tree just a sapling to you?’

However, he noticed something. The pale-skinned elves weren’t the only ones living there. He could see two other races that looked different from them.

The first one looked like a golem, but its body was made out of wood. Their main body was a moss-covered trunk with branches and roots as its limbs.

Still, their shape resembled a humanoid to a certain degree. Still, their bodies were quite big and robust, making them look like golems.

’Isn’t this a treat?’ Nathan thought, recognizing it. ’It’s definitely a treant, the one that looks humanoid, has a big body like a golem, but has that afro-like hair with their leaves.’

Nathan glanced to the other side. There was a being that resembled a human, but their skin was pitch black as though they were the personification of darkness itself. Their green eyes were exuding energy naturally.

"So, those two are the other races." Nathan narrowed his eyes.

"Yes." Khlina nodded. "Please land over there. I will talk to them so that you can enter..."

"There’s no need. After reaching this close, there’s no way that person won’t notice." Nathan smiled. Even Peng suddenly flapped his wings to kill his momentum, hovering in the air while looking at the empty air.

"It doesn’t look like you are coming here to make trouble, guests from another world." A gentle voice echoed from the thin air.

A silhouette formed out of the mist, showing a rather thin-looking person. He had long white hair, as though he were matching the mist.

"M-Master..." Khlina froze. She couldn’t help but look down, feeling guilty. After all, it was her who had brought them here.

"I see. So, you have recovered, Khlina."

"Y-Yes. This person—" Khlina wanted to say that Nathan was the one who saved her, but the man suddenly raised his voice. "This person? Show him respect!"

"Y-Yes. This lord was the one who treated my condition." Khlina flustered and changed the way she addressed him immediately.

"It’s all right. Besides, she’s been polite all the time." Nathan smiled.

"I see. However, there’s an unwritten rule among us who have reached god realm."

Peng couldn’t help but agree. "Show respect to the other party even if they’re enemies. Those who have become gods are beings worthy of respect."

"Indeed." The man nodded. "You bear no hostility toward me or this world, so of course, I should show you hospitality."

"In that case, I won’t be polite." Nathan extended his hand. "They are my wives. We’re here because this is one of the stops to reach the alien world."

"The alien world? Ah, you call those creatures ’alien.’"

"Yes. They’re the ones calling themselves that way."

"In this world, we call them Hkadsi. It means grotesque."

Nathan chuckled. "How about we have a conversation?"

"Of course, we should. However, it looks like your wives are quite interested in my town." The man threw a badge to Khlina. "Guide them around. I shall have a chat with this gentleman here, so entertain our guests."

"Y-Yes, sir!" Khlina nodded furiously.

"Shall we?" The man smiled while tilting his body to the side, gesturing for Nathan to come with him.

Nathan agreed. Both of them immediately disappeared with Peng being recalled, leaving only Khlina with the rest of the girls.

Khlina looked at them nervously. After having been reprimanded earlier, she realized she hadn’t treated them with the respect they deserved.

Seeing her nervous expression, Sera couldn’t help but smile while saying, "Let’s go, Khlina."

"Do you want candy?" Luna asked while taking out a wrapped gum.

"Maybe food?" Bella grinned.

Selena patted Khlina’s head. "Just relax. We are not so strict. We just want to have fun, including you."

Khlina felt overwhelmed. It was as if she were being taken care of by nine sisters.

Meanwhile, Nathan had followed the so-called conqueror to the main tree.

The man politely lowered his head. "I thank you from the bottom of my heart for helping Khlina. I couldn’t do anything for that child."

"It’s fine. It’s just part of the agreement that I’ve made with another person." Nathan waved his hand. "It just happens to be that way, so you don’t need to thank me."

The man smiled. "In that case, allow me to introduce myself. I am Thukalantam Gharakhuaku. You can call me Thuka."

Nathan also introduced himself. "I am Nathan Reckmoon. Please call me Nathan."
