Chapter 1830: Targets

"There are two aliens. The first alien is like this." Thuka took out a drawing of the alien. The alien looked humanoid with three pairs of wings. The alien had tentacles coming out of its stomach.

It actually used a sword rather than a club.

"The first alien is known for its sword. It is residing on the orange planet, not far from here."

"What is its strength? It should have a supernatural ability unique to its own."

"Indeed." Thuka nodded. "The unique ability is the process of cutting itself. When it cuts something, it feels like the sword is actually cutting it twice. There is an invisible layer that will cut it first before the sword.

"This ability makes it troublesome. In a way, it is stronger than your wife’s sword."

Nathan didn’t feel offended. Even though they had become gods, they were still weaker than aliens of the same level.

However, they had familiars who could help them as well. Nathan had been cultivating those familiars so that they could follow them on their journey.

Nathan thought for a moment before asking, "What kind of planet does it reside in? Do we need to watch out for anything?"

"From the looks of it, the planet is quite unique. It’s like a giant gas sphere. You can still step on it, but the ground is extremely soft, as though it’s mud with so much gas in it. I don’t think you should use fire in this situation.

Nathan nodded in understanding. "Very well. What about the other one?"

"The other alien is..." Thuka took out the second drawing.

This time, the alien looked like a plant. The body was made of tentacles, making it look like a starfish, but with hundreds if not thousands of tentacles. It was quite hard to find its real body among those tentacles.

"Now that I think about it, what about their sizes? I don’t know the measurement of this world, so let’s compare it to this tree."

Thuka thought for a moment. "The first alien is about a third of this tree. It’s tall, but not that tall. The second alien is the massive one. A few tentacles will be enough to shatter this tree.

"Well, you can probably imagine it to be as big as your summon, that flying fish."

"I see." Nathan nodded in understanding. He got the gist of the idea and who to send in this situation. "What is the second alien’s ability?"

"Its ability is... I’m not sure how to describe it. When it smashes things, it’s able to neutralize the power coming from our ability. When we attack it, this creature has a very tough skin, making it hard to penetrate."

"So, not only is it tough, but it also regenerates..." Nathan narrowed his eyes. This type of alien was annoying to deal with.

They could use tentacles to attack without caring about the damage. It would take a very long time to defeat an opponent like this.

"For now, I understand what I’m supposed to do. So, do you think something will come out of the portal this time?" Nathan asked.

"Unfortunately, we can’t tell." Nathan shook his head helplessly. "If something like that comes out again, we will try to expel it from our world."

Nathan crossed his arms. "I see."

"Can you do it?" Thuka asked.

"I believe I can. However, what about the aliens’ bodies and cores? Are you going to claim them?"

"Of course not. I’m thankful that you’re going to eliminate those enemies for us. If you can defeat them, they’re rightfully yours."

"Can I... buy it? I’d like to research the alien’s body. I’m willing to trade anything." Hina raised her hand, asking carefully.

"Well, I have a need for them, so I can’t exactly give them to you."

"Is that so? That’s a shame." Hina sighed.

Nathan thought for a moment before saying, "How about this? I have research that can separate the black cell and the alien."

"The black cell? Oh, the black skin on the alien."

"That’s the real enemy. Through that, the real entity, the black cell, can control the aliens. If you are willing to help me remove the black cell from these three aliens after we defeat her, I’ll give you the research. How about it? Rather than researching the aliens, I think it’s better to research the real entity that is controlling them. After all, this entity is much stronger than anything you can imagine. There’s a reason why it’s called a singularity."

"Singularity..." Hina sucked in a cold breath. "An absolute being..."

"Yes."

"If that’s our opponent, aren’t we screwed already?"

"Not necessarily. At least there are two chances. If it fails, then we’re screwed."

"I see." Hina contemplated. The black cell was indeed interesting. If they could research it, they might understand the weakness of the enemy.

"I’m just warning you, but don’t let the black cell infect you, or you will be controlled."

"I know that." Hina was pondering the pros and cons. "I understand. Let’s do that."

"Very well." Nathan smiled. He still remembered what happened before leaving this world.

"My lord. I know you can return to this world, but I also know it will take a lot from you. That’s why, please take this, my lord." Gregory handed over a bunch of documents.

"What are these?"

"They’re the research about the method to remove the black cell. I’ve refined it further. Madam Charlotte should be able to set it up, but this is not an area of her expertise, so I’m slightly worried. I just hope that this research can be helpful to you, even though I’m not there."

Gregory knew he couldn’t travel alongside him. Still, even as a mortal who couldn’t fight, he wished to contribute.

Nathan smiled, accepting his desire to contribute. "Thank you, Gregory. I will use this."

"Yes, sir!" Gregory’s expression brightened.

Nathan found someone who could set it up, at least in this world. It was the goddess who loved research in front of him.

Nathan took out the documents. "This is the research. I’ll need you to set it up. You can copy it later."
