Chapter 1879: War

Bella looked at the girls who were unloading their luggage in their room. After traveling around for the entire day, they managed to secure a lot of things.

"It looks like you guys are having had some fun already." Bella chuckled.

"There are definitely a lot of interesting things." Vivian nodded in agreement.

"Haven’t you bought your fair share of things, Bella?" Noelle shrugged, saying that Bella was doing the same thing.

"Yeah, but there is an instruction from Nathan this time." Bella smiled.

"Oh?!" They stopped whatever they were doing and walked toward her, asking her to tell them what was going on.

"According to Nathan, we’re going to fight the alien sealed in the Frozen Prison one week from now. However, we are allowed to get anything we can acquire from this place within one week. He won’t ask us to leave."

"Oh!" Evelyn thought for a moment. "What’s going on exactly?"

"According to Nathan, they chose to leave the empire, but he wanted us to remain here. As for the details, he would tell us later, but for now, do whatever we want without making any ruckus. He wants Flora to fully absorb her new power, so that’s why he wants to attack the alien in one week."

Vivian looked around. "So, I guess we’re the only ones who can acquire things now?"

"Nathan probably can if he wants to, but it doesn’t look like he intends to do so. He might be planning something else."

"Fair point. It’s Nathan who we’re talking about. He will probably have another thing to prepare."

"So, what are we going to do now? Any change of plans?"

Bella turned to Evelyn. Even though she was the leader, Evelyn overall made a better decision compared to her.

Evelyn raised three fingers. "For the time being, we have three objectives. The first is to acquire things that we can get our hands on without revealing our identities. For the time being, we have acquired their own currency, but we need to stay in this place to avoid their detection.

"If someone follows you around, disappear immediately. Then, the second objective is information. It doesn’t matter whether it’s the information about the aliens or this planet. As long as it’s some information related to what we’re doing, just get it.

"Last but not least, I want you guys to acquire some tools or weapons. I don’t think we’re lacking materials, but we will acquire weapons and some materials in the process. After all, we may need specific materials from the empire in the future."

"Should we destroy this place right now?" Vivian asked.

"We can do that. I will try to split this planet into two." Noelle nodded in agreement.

"All right. Both of you, stop! It hasn’t reached that point, so calm down. Just focus on your current tasks."

"Tsk. Fine."

Meanwhile, Devonio was reporting what Nathan told him to the emperor.

The emperor narrowed her eyes. "So, what do you think?"

"I believe we can’t let him say whatever he wants. There should be a consequence for this." Devonio answered without hesitation.

"Did you say that despite knowing that he might have the power to destroy the empire?" The emperor turned cold.

Devonio panicked and hurriedly explained, "I believe he’s just bluffing. He is just one person. Even if the others are working together, we have so much fighting power. I don’t believe we can’t defeat that group."

The emperor sighed. "It looks like you still don’t understand your position. Did you ask that because of what happened to your mansion?"

"..." Devonio fell silent. Nathan had ruined his mansion. A lot of machines were broken because of Flora’s lightning. It happened because of the emperor, but there was no way to direct his anger to the emperor, so he could only direct his anger to Nathan.

"The empire will compensate you properly, so you don’t have to worry about your mansion. I give you my words." The emperor thought it was the lack of consideration for the Central Processing Unit.

It acted according to the empire’s custom, not the other party’s. While it was true that they were in the empire right now, it didn’t change the fact that their mindset remained true to their old world.

"!!!" Devonio was quite astonished. Each of them was the power of the empire. The imperial army always remained in the heart of the empire, ready to take any order from the emperor.

The imperial sword was the massive army that had been gunning down their enemies to create stability within the empire. Meanwhile, the imperial spear was the most barbaric army as they were tasked to defeat anyone in their path to conquer more planets. Last but not least, the imperial shield whose role was to protect the empire from outside threat.

Devonio understood the implication that would come from recalling these four armies.

"Call all Alphas except for Alpha Neltion to the capital."

"Yes, Your Majesty."

The emperor’s expression turned cold. "If a war is going to be next, then we’d better prepare ourselves."
