Summoners War: Only I Summoned Divine Beasts

Chapter 1964: Fake and Real

Chapter 1964: Fake and Real

"So... I’m not exactly comfortable with you summoning him without me there. The best way I can think of is to summon Loki and make him sign a Soul Contract with many true gods observing the entire thing. This way, we will have less chance of being fooled by him.

"However, I’m not saying this because I don’t believe you. I believe in you. It’s just... Loki or other tricksters are just... annoying to deal with."

Bella waved her hand. "No, no, no. I don’t think that way at all. I’m glad that you are worried about me."

Nathan scratched the back of his head, feeling bad about Bella.

"By the way... I have been containing myself from the beginning, but I can’t resist anymore. Nathan... my duality... have I only been touching the surface this whole time?" Sera raised her hand, leaning closer to the camera.

"..." Nathan just glanced at Flora.

Flora looked away and started whistling.

Nathan let out a long sigh before saying, "It’s an answer you need to find yourself. However, I can actually tell you and Bella... since this one will be useful for both of you. If fake is real and real is fake, what is actually real and what is actually fake?"

"!!!" Sera and Bella were startled. They had never thought about this.

For Bella, fake and real meant illusion and reality. If her illusion became a reality and the reality became an illusion. Which one was actually the reality or the illusion?

For Sera, the fake and the real meant the same, but what she focused on was the fact that she could reverse the fake and the real.

If she saw a fake, her duality could turn that fake into real. But that wasn’t just limited to fake and real.

She could really turn other things into the opposite.

Could her power actually reverse the control of the black cell? She probably could, but she wouldn’t be able to possess enough power to completely free them from the black cell.

After all, the black cell would resist with its own power. The best she could do was probably let the aliens regain their clarity to a certain extent.

Then again, if she could really do that, that meant the alien could assist them by resisting the black cell’s control.

As Seath mentioned before, they could use the little bit of consciousness they possessed left to block a certain action.

It might not matter much to lower level aliens. However, if they fought god level aliens or even Outer Gods, that small clarity would weaken them.

He imagined that Yog-Sothoth and Azathoth would block the way to revive or something so that they could be defeated.

And Sera’s existence might not be accounted for by Nyarlathotep.

Of course, there was a possibility that the prophecy had accounted for this. After all, Nathan had been doing everything he could do to resist the black cell, including the original Nathan.

So, he wondered the chance the prophecy was talking about... was it the original Nathan or was it him?

If they were both Nathan and treated the same, that meant Sera’s ability wasn’t accounted for. If the prophecy believed in Nathan Reckmoon, not the original Nathan, it meant Sera was part of the calculations.

In the end, he couldn’t gain the answer just yet. Sera needed to develop her power first before testing it on god level aliens.

Nevertheless, Nathan’s words kept echoing in their minds.

Bella thought that since she controlled the illusion, it would remain an illusion. However, if the person believed that reality was just an illusion, wouldn’t that mean everything was an illusion? She would be the one to determine which one was the reality.

So, while her power remained as an illusion, she could still affect reality.

Bella remembered Azathoth’s information. If Azathoth was tied to their reality, could she actually turn it into an illusion to just stop destroying this reality when they killed Azathoth?

There was no telling what would happen yet, but they understood what kind of level they needed to reach if they wanted to stand by Nathan’s side.

As they knew, if they couldn’t grow strong enough, Nathan’s plan would fail. They needed to gang up on the alien to somehow find a chance to win against them.

Bella took a deep breath. "If that’s the case, shouldn’t you come here, my love? If you are here, you can watch me summon Loki. Then, you can gather information from Loki as well as find this burial ground."

The rest actually agreed with the proposal. Evelyn added, "Since you’ve wrapped up your matter on that planet, you can proceed this way. Maybe find a portal that will bring you closer to us. When you’re close enough, we can use both of our powers to just link the two locations directly and cover the rest of the distance in one go."

Nathan looked down, contemplating. He originally wanted them to just enter the burial ground, finding anything they could to open it. Then, they would be able to clear the area and proceed according to the original plan.

Still, it might be fine to slow down their pace slightly and go there first. He could simply return here once everything was over.

Nathan couldn’t help but remember something. The fact that his bad luck hadn’t exploded yet. If he went there, with the current situation, that bad luck might explode and cause him to face multiple true gods in that area, especially the ones linked to the organization that his wives had just destroyed.

However, if he didn’t go there, they still had the possibility of facing those true gods. At that time, they had to fend them off without him there.

Nathan closed his eyes for a moment. He had a dilemma.

"Before making that decision, there is something I want to know." Nathan turned to Garuda. "We know about the fact that this first battlefield is the shame that everyone wants to hide. Meanwhile, the third battlefield is the desperate action that has now merged with the Great Void. What about the second battlefield?"
