Summoners War: Only I Summoned Divine Beasts

Chapter 1973: Fulfilling The Agreements

Chapter 1973: Fulfilling The Agreements

"Hmmm..." Nathan frowned. If that were the case, there were plenty of gods who could use the power of time. Beings like Ananta and Chronos would be the center of it. In that case, why would they fail?

Nathan felt something was missing.

By using the Dark Dimension, they managed to seal Yog-Sothoth’s space ability. However, they couldn’t do anything regarding his time element.

In a way, it was also a warning to Nathan. They might have done everything they could, but they might not be strong enough to stop him.

After all, they utilized time differently from Yog-Sothoth.

Nathan was the one using time in a similar way to Yog-Sothoth.

Rather than manipulating the time in this reality, they were influencing other timelines.

In other words, if he ended up fighting Yog-Sothoth later, he would have to fight him in other timelines as well. And he needed to kill every single Yog-Sothoth if he really wanted to completely defeat Yog-Sothoth.

The good news was that a portion of Yog-Sothoth had died because of the Dark Dimension. The gods managed to accomplish a portion of their objective.

The bad news was that it wasn’t enough. Nathan still needed to work really hard to somehow defeat Yog-Sothoth.

Nathan was concerned about the difficulty. In a way, Yog-Sothoth treated spacetime as if it were a theater. There were simply too many rooms, representing each timeline. Yog-Sothoth could go back and forth between each room to survive.

On the other hand, Nathan treated the timelines similarly, but rather than being the person who switched back and forth between timelines, he preferred to transcend from that dimension to a higher-level dimension so that he would watch Yog-Sothoth as if he was just a character in a movie.

However, his mastery was nowhere near Yog-Sothoth’s, so he knew Yog-Sothoth would defeat him 100 times out of 100 chances.

Nathan looked down, contemplating. "Dark Matter, Dark Dimension, Spacetime, Plan..."

Nathan scratched the back of his head. The plan was quite meticulous, that he knew the plan was there, but he just couldn’t figure out Loki or Nyarlathotep’s original plans.

Nathan closed his eyes for a moment. After processing everything in his head, he nodded to Apep. "Okay. I think this is enough. Thanks for answering my questions. We have both shown our sincerity. The next time we meet, it will go according to our agreement. Do your best, Apep. You won’t be able to defeat me."

"Hmph. We’ll see. Don’t ever forget your promise. I’m leaving." Apep snorted as his body gradually disappeared.

"Haa..." Anubis let out a long sigh. "I’m really pissed off right now. Thankfully, he’s gone now."

"I can’t help but wonder what will happen if you also summon Jinwu this time." Mae shook her head helplessly.

"Isn’t that obvious? He would have mistaken Jinwu for Ra. Then, he would attack Jinwu and focus on killing him first." Anubis rolled his eyes. "There was no way he would agree to the contract if Jinwu was there."

"But he definitely had the memory of Jinwu, right? It should have been transferred to him when he was summoned, right?" Mae narrowed her eyes.

"..." Anubis stopped for a few seconds. "You’re saying he’s planning something?"

"Most likely, but it’s done anyway. The plan has succeeded. With the Soul Contract, he has no other choice but to help us. Besides, Master has specifically mentioned that he’s not allowed to attack him or his allies during their cooperation."

"Well, he will have to face him again, so he might summon Jinwu at that time and we will have this problem again."

"That’s true. We can only watch out for it. Besides, we have gotten stronger with this. We will have to start preparing for other things, for example, playing with the new summon, Loki."

"Yeah, right!"

Nathan summoned Tiamat and the rest of his familiars, including Jinwu first. Then, he signaled to the girls to gather around him, since they were ready to summon Loki.

Without Apep, they had enough strength to handle Loki. Still, they wanted to summon all familiars strong enough to watch over Loki so that he didn’t do anything funny.

As soon as they gathered, Nathan said, "We’ll start preparing for the next summon. Are you ready, Bella?"

"Yes." Bella nodded with a serious expression. "I am ready."

"In that case, everyone will watch over her. I will be the closest and prepare for the contract. This is the only way to control or minimize Loki’s mischief. I’m not planning to treat him kindly, so yeah..." Nathan nodded. "If any of you notice something weird, we will beat him. There’s also a chance we might have to kill him. Do you understand the risk, Bella?"

"I know. I’m not going to hold any grudges. After hearing that he tricked one of his own to death, I understand that it might happen to us. So, I’m not letting that happen."

"Very well." Nathan snapped his fingers. "Let’s take our positions."

They spread out. Meanwhile, Bella brought the new summoning circle and started taking out the materials.

As usual, the most important material was Auric’s blood. Still, he would add Fenrir’s blood since he was his son.

Before Bella started the summoning ceremony, Nathan formed a contract first to see whether she should connect to the universe or connect to the world to activate her summoning power.

Fortunately, he managed to create a contract that allowed her to access the information stored on their original planet, as the universe granted her access to that planet. Of course, due to the distance, Nathan had to sacrifice his karma to make it happen.

Once Bella was ready, she started pouring her energy into the summoning circle.

"O’ Miracle of the Universe, Divine Being of Summoning, please use my body as the beacon and grant the beloved being your passage. By my name, Isabella Slavina, heed my call and come forth into this universe, great being from another world.

"Heed my call, God of Mischief, Loki."
