Supreme Harem God System

Chapter 2088: A Hunt.

Chapter 2088: A Hunt.

"Your Palaces of eternal light will become your Prison,

Prisons with no Gates because you, the Prisoners, would never want to leave.

After all—

You will be too terrified of stepping into a Universe that no longer bows.

Because out here...

You will see us."

"..."

"..."

Silence.

Absolute silence fell over the place as those words echoed throughout the boundaries of Vael’Terros. With so many screens showing the same video, every being present here heard them.

The Guild Masters stared at the Supreme Borns, terrified. This was the first time they had seen someone speak such words to the beings of the Supreme Worlds.

The Four Supreme Borns stared at the screen with solemn looks on their faces. This time, even Darkness was no exception. His amused smile was long gone, but—

This wasn’t the end.

Bzzz

Bzzz Bzzz Bzzz

Bzzz Bzzz Bzzz Bzzz Bzzz

It started with a few, but soon, almost every Guild Master present in Vael’Terros sensed their Call Artifacts ringing.

And it wasn’t just them—

Bzzz Bzzz Bzzz

The Supreme Worlds were the same, their Call Artifacts were reacting as well. Without any change in his expression, Balance took out his Artifact and activated it.

And then—

"M-My Lord..."

The truth was revealed.

Vael’Terros wasn’t the only place this message was being received.

Every single High-Level World saw it, even some lower-level worlds saw it as well. This message,

It was seen throughout the Universe.

The number of witnesses was so high that even if the Supreme Worlds wished to silence them, they wouldn’t be able to hide the truth—they would only be able to bury it.

Sure, if they gave the orders, no being throughout the Universe would dare to talk about this, but deep in their hearts, everyone would know.

The existence of Chain Breakers—it could no longer be unknown. Especially now, when the mercenaries had begun talking. After all, they were the ones affected by it the most.

And as if he knew exactly what was happening, the man on the screen once again extended his hands wide and—

"Welcome to the Era of No Chains."

He announced proudly. Then, as if his golden eyes stared right into the Supreme Borns’ eyes,

"This is only the first day. Fear and despair are still unknown to you.

In your arrogance, I am sure you will try to find the bug and squash it before it sucks too much of your blood.

And I welcome you to try.

I welcome you to come and find us.

After all, despair only begins with failure.

You won’t feel it unless you fail."

The man paused for a moment, then, his face behind his veil distorted as he grinned widely and—

"I welcome you—

—to Fail.

—to Fall.

—to experience your first defeat.

I welcome you to be humiliated.

I’ll be waiting."

With that, the screen disappeared and from the start till the very end, not a soul dared to speak.

And this didn’t just happen in Vael’Terros—every world or being who received this message stared at the screen without daring to utter even a single word, almost as if they were scared that something was going to happen if they did.

Of course, this did not happen because everyone was scared of these people who called themselves Chain Breakers, no, they were scared of the words they used and the ones they used them against.

They were scared of the Supreme Worlds’ retaliation, and this was even truer for the Guild Masters standing in Vael’Terros.

They stared at the Supreme Borns, their bodies trembling in fear. The last thing they wanted was to die because some fools did not know what they were doing.

Yes, that was their opinion of the Chain Breakers—

Fools who did not know what they were doing.

And the Supreme Borns...

They remained silent for a while until—

"To experience our first defeat, huh?"

Darkness grinned, his hoarse voice echoing throughout Vael’Terros, sending shivers down already scared Guild Masters.

"Now I wish to experience it."

He commented, the leisure and arrogance in his voice could not be hidden. Clearly, he did not believe he was going to lose, and he wasn’t the only one. No one—neither the beings from the Supreme Worlds nor others from the rest of the Universe—believed it.

They knew the Chain Breakers wouldn’t be seeing the next day.

What surprised them was that someone like them appeared—someone brave enough to actually challenge them.

"I guess we have been far too kind, haven’t we?"

Darkness grinned. He then turned towards Light and—

"This is what happens when you try to bring Light to this world."

Yes, he began pushing his World’s agendas.

"If we had continued to show our strength, if we had continued to wage wars, if we had continued massacres and destruction, if we had spread Darkness like it was meant to, things would have been different today."

Again the Guild Masters trembled at those words. In their minds, they once again cursed these foolish bastards who had now angered the Supremes.

The only good thing was—

"You are giving too much importance to some bugs. The Darkness you love so much is limiting your vision."

Light spoke, countering Darkness’ words.

After all, he couldn’t just let him speak whatever he wanted. He still needed to keep his side so he didn’t get overwhelmed. If he returned like this, it would be too humiliating.

"No matter how much you show yourself, such reckless fools will always appear. Following what you mention will only brand us as tyrants, but that is not who we are."

As he spoke, his words got nods of approval by the Guild Masters below. Indeed, the beings from the Supreme World of Light were different.

They saw the bigger picture and honestly, this was all working in favor of the Supreme World of Light. It was showing the Universe—especially these Guild Masters—just how important their existence was.

Seeing this, Light continued,

"We are the Keepers of Peace, and we will get to the root of this disturbance and—"

"Annihilate them."

Darkness interrupted with a grin.

He no longer cared about public opinion or the battle between Light and Darkness. After all, he already knew the truth—no matter how much they fought for a momentary victory, in the end, it was all pointless.

After all, all their small victories would amount to nothing if the Infinites above them did not make a move.

To destroy Light, the Supreme Darkness needed to move, and till then, all this was pointless—a wasteful effort that wasn’t nearly entertaining enough compared to this new toy he just found.

The Darkness only wished that his new toy didn’t break very quickly. He still needed at least some degree of resistance to make it interesting.

"That is enough."

Suddenly, Balance spoke up.

"This is merely a minor inconvenience."

He mentioned.𝗳𝐫𝚎𝗲𝚠𝚎𝗯𝕟𝐨𝘃𝚎𝗹.𝗰𝗼𝗺

"But an inconvenience nonetheless."

He stared at Eternity and he nodded as well.

"We do not have the reports from the Worlds they devoured. Some of those worlds were considered quite big in the Mercenary World. We cannot exclude their input in our final report."

Balance nodded at those words—not just him, Light and even Darkness nodded as well.

They were the Supreme Borns. Because they were sent on this mission, the result shouldn’t be anything short of perfection.

That was their firm belief.

So despite having tens of thousands of Mercenary World Leaders standing beneath them, their focus was on the representatives of the Fifty-Six Worlds who were killed and didn’t appear.

In an instant, they came up with a plan—

"Find all the mercenaries that survived. Find them, read their memories, look for the ones compiling the report, and recreate their report from their memories. Also, recreate these Mercenary Worlds from the mercenary memories.

Gather every mercenary who has ever been to these worlds, read their memories, and recreate these Worlds. Recover the memory of every event, every mission, every little thing that happened in these worlds from the start to finish for these past 10,000 years."

Yes, that was the grand plan.

They would recreate the Mercenary Worlds that were destroyed from the mercenary memories. They would scan the memories of all the mercenaries who had been to these worlds even once and recreate the timeline for the past 10,000 years.

A ridiculous plan.

With how busy the Mercenary Worlds are, these people were thinking of reading complete memories of billions and billions of mercenaries, just to make sure there were no mistakes from their side.

What’s worse?

These people could actually pull it off.

To normal people, finding billions of mercenaries with no leads whatsoever might be difficult, but—

For them...

"Make an announcement. Tell all the mercenaries to come here.

They have a month."

Eternity announced.

Yes, that was how easy it was.

All they needed to do was announce, and the billions of mercenaries would have no choice but to agree to their words and leave whatever they were doing to get here.

"Not everyone will come."

Light spoke. After all, not everyone wanted to have their memories read. Plus, these were mercenaries—they were already much more reckless compared to normal people. There were bound to be a few fighters.

"It does not matter. We will read the memories of those who do. Through them, we will find the others who dared to hide."

Eternity spoke, and Darkness grinned as well.

"It will be like a hunt.

Heh.

It is much more interesting this way."
