Supreme Harem God System

Chapter 2250: We need to tell him.

Chapter 2250: We need to tell him.

"Stop.

That is enough."

Felberta spoke as she looked into Amaya’s eyes with a strong, authoritative look on her face. The devourer looked at her with her dark, hollow, possessive eyes, almost as if she would even tear apart Felberta if she tried to stop her, and Felberta...

She wasn’t offended by that look.

Instead, she looked at Amaya with... understanding.

After all, she knew what the woman was feeling; she too felt the same. It was just that while she held it all inside her—

Amaya did the opposite.

Amaya let her madness breathe and took another step forward.

"I will—"

But before she could even complete her words, another woman moved.

Riona.

The woman placed her hand on her daughter’s shoulder, even when her entire body was surrounded by devouring energy that had already begun eating her.

But the mother did not care; she just looked into her daughter’s eyes, and the moment Amaya realized what was happening—

Her Aura trembled.

Riona looked at her with a calm, understanding look on her face and then—

"Amaya,"

She called out.

Amaya’s jaw tightened at her mother’s call, her entire body shaking as her Aura became... weaker.

But the next second—

BOOOOOOM

Her Aura exploded again.

For a second, it looked like she might explode anyway. Like she might throw Riona’s hand off and walk out to hunt Allura down.

But then Evane stepped in too, taking Amaya’s other hand, holding it gently like she was holding someone drowning.

"Please,"

Evane whispered.

Aisha’s lips pressed together.

Edda looked ready to snap.

Even Shadow—who had started this mess—sat up straighter, suddenly very awake, staring at Amaya like she was watching a knife hovering above the family’s throat.

Vyriana, Astaria, Aeliana watched too.

And Amaya...

Her eyes trembled.

Even when angry, she realized this wasn’t a line-up she could win against.

If it was a one-on-one battle she might have had a chance, but against Astaria, Vyriana, and Aeliana all facing her together?

It was impossible.

Even at her strongest, Amaya would not win. Not to mention there was still Shadow, who could simply lock her away if she wanted to and there would be nothing she could do about it.

And that realization made her breathing uneven.

In her head, the thoughts were wild.

If Allura disappears, the first child can still be mine.

If Allura... dies, the problem ends.

If something happens and Allura never gives birth—

Those thoughts made her Aura surge again but—

"Amaya, I said enough."

The woman spoke, her voice much sharper than before, and Amaya’s gaze—just as sharp—snapped towards the Eldraeth Progenitor. The ’reason’ in her eyes had already vanished, even if it was a battle she would never win, she still wanted to give it a go, ready to throw it all.

For a second, the two of them stared at each other like rival queens.

But then—

Felberta’s gaze changed.

It... softened.

No, it was more accurate to say that Felberta looked... tired.

As if she had already fought this battle inside herself.

"You think I don’t feel it?"

The Eldraeth Progenitor asked softly.

Her voice wasn’t shaking, but the women could feel her intense emotions.

"You think I didn’t want it?"

Amaya’s lips parted at those words and Felberta continued.

"I wanted it first too.

More than you do."

The moment those words were said, silence fell.

Felberta said what every woman present here wanted to say.

Who here did not wish to be the first?

Who here did not wish to see Nux carry their blood in his arms?

Who here did not wish to feel... even closer to him?

Every single woman present here had a few screws loose in their heads; every single one of them was crazy for the man they loved.

And every single one of them, the moment they realized Allura had conceived, was hurt. Some felt she had betrayed them; they had decided not to conceive collectively, breaking the rules without any discussion was no different than betrayal.

Some were just... angry; they even thought of attacking Allura and... getting rid of the child. And for the very, very short moment, their minds justified that. After all, Allura had betrayed them first.

But...

"But if you touch her..."

Felberta spoke in a heavy tone as she lifted her eyes and looked right into Amaya’s.

The words didn’t need to finish.

Everyone understood.

Everyone thought the same.

If Amaya harmed Allura, she wouldn’t just be attacking a sister.

She would be attacking Nux.

And that was the one thing none of them would ever let happen.

Amaya’s Aura trembled at those words, the devouring energy around her weakening, mostly because she didn’t wish to hurt her mother.

Her eyes, however, still burned. Her breathing became even faster.

She looked like she hated the world.

Like she hated herself.

Like she hated the... helplessness she was feeling.

Then—

Her Aura dropped even more. It still hadn’t fully disappeared yet, not fully.

But enough to show she was listening.

Felberta exhaled slowly. Then, very slowly, she forced her face into something else.

"Allura’s child... will be Nux’s child."

No one spoke; after all, none of them liked those words, not when every single one of them wanted to be in Allura’s place.

But then—

Felberta said something else.

"And Nux is ours,"

The first wife spoke.

"So the child... will be ours too."

Her gaze moved around the room—meeting each woman’s eyes. Clearly, her words weren’t just for Amaya, but for everyone present here.

And for the first time since the reveal, warmth returned.

Very little, almost flickering warmth, but it still returned.

Skyla smiled, thinking about how she would be holding one little Nux very soon. The very thought made her giggle.

Evane’s expression was just... beautiful.

Ridiculously beautiful.

The gentle smile and her motherly warmth completely countered Amaya’s dark expression.

Riona chuckled too; she too wanted to be... a mother again.

Aeliana’s expression eased slightly; it was still sharp since like Amaya, she did not like this feeling one bit, but she was now... less ready to strike.

Lane’s shoulders lowered; her thoughts weren’t clear, she had hidden them from the rest.

Even Lyriana’s cold stare softened by a fraction.

Amaya, however, still looked like she might break.

She stared at Felberta as if she didn’t understand how she could accept it.

How she could swallow that pain.

Felberta met her gaze.

And for the first time ever since the reveal, the first wife smiled. No, she wasn’t happy, Felberta wasn’t a robot who could just... abandon her emotions.

But she was sincere.

"We are a family,"

She repeated.

"And our family is about to have a new member."

The room stayed quiet.

Then Shadow swallowed, still shocked, still half naked, still sitting there like she had dropped a meteor into the room.

"...Nux is going to lose his mind,"

She whispered lightly.

Skyla’s mouth opened.

Then she grinned.

"He’s going to be so happy."

Aisha’s eyes turned distant; she still did not like how Allura had betrayed even her. Edda was the same and looked away; even then, her expression softened to some extent.

And Amaya—

Amaya’s eyes trembled again.

Her Aura flickered.

For a moment, it looked like she might cry.

Then she clenched her jaw, turned her face away and—

"...Tch."

She clicked her tongue, hating the fact that she was even here.

But she didn’t leave.

She didn’t attack anyone, and that alone was the closest thing to acceptance Amaya could give right now.

Felberta took a slow breath.

Then she looked at Shadow again.

"Are you certain?"

She asked, one last time.

"Yes."

Shadow nodded slowly.

"Does... he know?"

She asked.

A question that made the rest of the women lift their eyes.

Nux shouldn’t know.

Because if he did...

It would mean that he too hid it from them...

And if that was true then...

They wouldn’t know how they would react.

But Shadow...

"I do not think so."

She shook her head.

"We are not asking what you think."

Lyriana muttered in a cold voice.

Shadow looked at her with the same cold eyes in return and—

"I cannot read his mind.

And even if I could, I wouldn’t if he doesn’t want me to."

She answered directly.

"..."

Lyriana didn’t say anything; she... couldn’t.

And Shadow continued—

"But I know my husband. I do not need to read his mind to know what I know.

If he knew, he would tell us, because he would understand how much it would hurt us if he doesn’t.

So if you do not trust him,

That does not make it my problem."

Shadow spoke in a tone she almost never used. For a moment, her presence felt... abnormally large, and Lyriana...

She could only lower her head and clench her fists, not because she did not like the way Shadow was talking to her, but because she... hated herself for doubting Nux, even for a second.

"Stop."

Felberta spoke again.

"She was just desperate."

Shadow looked at the first wife and calmed down.

Then, Felberta glanced at the rest of the women and—

"We need to tell him."

The first wife declared.
