Chapter 1062: Buy or purchase for free?

Chapter 1062: Buy or purchase for free?

Despite the high prices, in the current status of the Nexus, which is at rank zero, only a limited number of small Slot Modules and Core Modules in each of the five Sectors were available for purchase.

Idan and Arabel, in order to save money, at first glance, they should have waited a little while until the city reached higher ranks and medium and large modules became available. However, after thinking about it, they decided that by that time the city would have already grown significantly, and waiting could lead to missing out on many opportunities.

At the moment, they had 343,335 System Points, not counting the remaining Fire Crystals Elira had obtained. With so many System Points, they could purchase as many as three small Core Modules.

However, they faced a limitation here.

At the beginning, one Host can purchase only one Core Module. Only after reaching the high ranks of the city and making a certain contribution, you can get an additional opportunity to purchase a second and even a third Module.

“What should we do? Should I use two free opportunities to purchase Core Modules, or should I first buy two small Core Modules for System Points?” Arabel asked, having carefully studied the rules.

“At first glance, it seems logical to leave the free features for later. However, I doubt that the City’s System will allow you to purchase Medium and Large Core Modules for these opportunities. That would be too generous,” Idan shared his doubts.

“But Belle, understand that these are just my assumptions. Maybe I’m wrong,” he added with a smile.

“No, Dan, I trust your reasoning, so I will follow your decision,” she said with a smile, snuggling up to him.

Idan was very pleased to hear her words about trust, and he couldn’t resist kissing her gently on the forehead.

After some consideration, they came to the conclusion that one Core Module should be purchased for System Points, and for the second one, use one of the two available free options.

They decided to save one of these options for later, when they have the opportunity.

In the end, they chose:

* One module in the {Trading Sector} for the Auction House;

* The second one is in the {Entertainment Sector} for the Simularium.

Before buying, they had to fill out a small questionnaire where they had to specify the purpose of purchasing Core Modules.

In the process of filling out the questionnaires, the system helped Idan and Arabel confirm their intentions to open an auction house and link a Simularium.

They had two important reasons for this.:

The right to open an auction house, given to them by the Host of the Supreme Trading System. The status of the owners of the existing Simularium.

These two reasons were enough for Nexus to immediately approve the purchase of Core Modules.

Idan and Arabel considered buying a Core Module in the Guild Sector, but after learning that this required an officially registered Guild, they changed their minds.

Their Guild Kingdom existed only on paper, without confirmation from their own System.

This also led them to believe that it was possible to create or purchase a System function responsible for creating Guilds.

“Dan, I think this opportunity has appeared with the advent of the Systems Network, because it helps the Awakened to add each other as friends and create groups for communication. I suspect that it is possible to create a Guild inside the Systems Network and register Guild members through it,” Arabel suggested.

“I agree that this is possible within the framework of a Systems Network, but probably first we need to increase the access rank and get the rights to register the Guild,” Idan added to his wife’s thoughts.

And the opportunity to raise their rank in the Systems Network was in the Systems Dungeon.

Now that the modules were purchased, it was necessary to figure out how to work with them.

The sectors in the Nexus radial system were arranged in the following order:

Trade Sector → Guild Sector → Entertainment Sector → Residential Sector → Craft Sector → (return to the Trade Sector).

The two Core Modules they purchased were located in the Central Square, in the most prominent place. To start interacting with them, it was necessary to approach the Modules themselves.

“Given the limited time, let’s split up and see what’s what,” Idan suggested, and Arabel reluctantly agreed. She took over the {Entertainment Sector}, and Idan took over the {Trade Sector}.

Idan and Arabel, the first visitors to the Nexus and those who activated it, were among those who watched the deserted city.

They understood that soon, when other Hosts would find a way to get here, the city would begin to change: the void would be filled with houses, and a real city would appear in their place.

When Idan reached the purchased Core Module, he easily found the owner’s console.

After opening it, he immersed himself with interest in studying the manual for using the module.

“Hmm… So this is how everything works,” Idan thought in amazement, amazed at the wide possibilities that opened up before him.

Two ways were proposed to launch the auction house.

The first, simpler one, involved creating a new auction house from scratch or opening a branch of an existing one. In this case, it was necessary to build buildings, provide them with everything they need, and even hire maintenance personnel.

The second one allowed to install a projection of an existing auction house in the real world directly on the territory of the Module.

In this case, the Module will have its own Lobby, where everyone can get acquainted with the auction features. By registering, they will be able to pass through the gate and find themselves in the real world, right inside the auction house.

In this case, the person who enters the auction house will be limited by its space and will not be able to leave it. In addition, the time of his stay will be limited.

The equivalent time rule will also apply, and in this case it remains in force.

Additionally, the Nexus protects the business owner.

The visitor will not be able to see what is happening outside of this space, and all mentions in the conversation about the real location of the business will be drowned out.

Although this does not guarantee 100% protection, the security level is already incredibly high.

Idan, having studied both proposed options, came to the conclusion that although the first option seems more expensive to create a business from scratch, in fact it turned out to be more economical than the second.

In the Nexus, you could purchase everything you need for system points: from ready-made buildings to furniture and interior elements.

Second. An option involving the installation of a projection, special gates and protection would have cost much more. However, despite this, Idan preferred the second option.

After all, it would be possible to create a mysterious auction house with his help.
