Chapter 1071: Six Fire Factions
Chapter 1071: Six Fire Factions
Sitting on the back of a majestic Diamond-ranked Flaming Crane, Idan, assuming the form of Ignis, stared in surprise at the scarlet sky.
Having an affinity with the element of fire, he felt the echoes of the fury of the scarlet flame and its incredible power.
“So this is the effect of the Scarlet Fire?” he whispered.
“Yes, Master Ignis,” came the Crane’s reply, confirming his guess.
“I do not know how you managed it, but we ended up in the territory of the Scarlet Fire faction,” Elira added.
“The Scarlet Fire Faction… Aren’t you from the Golden Fire Faction?” asked Idan, looking at another ruined and abandoned city they were flying over.
“Yes,” Elira confirmed.
“You must already know, Master Ignis, that the Eastern Continent is under the control of the six fire factions from my world.”
“Yes, I know that,” Idan nodded and, without hesitation, listed all these six factions that control most of the Eastern Continent.:
“Scarlet Fire Faction, Golden Fire Faction, White Fire Faction, Blue Fire Faction, Black Fire Faction, and Ash Fire Faction.”
Elira continued, “The Scarlet Fire Faction controls the Center of the Continent, the Golden Fire Faction controls the West, the Black Fire Faction controls the south, the Ashen Fire Faction controls the southeastern territories, the White Fire Faction controls the north and northeast, and the Blue Fire Faction controls the Northwest Archipelago.”
She then added, “From what I’ve learned, the ones you’ve captured belong to the Blue Fire Faction. Their faction is the closest to the Central Continent, and it was they who came into contact with beings from other elemental realms.”
Idan nodded, partly he was already familiar with this information.
Before coming here, he had received all the necessary information from Sierra and Prina. They were able not only to interrogate, but also to study the memories of the creatures they captured from the world of Fire.
The world of Fire was different not only from Earth, but also from the World of Light and Darkness that Idan and Arabel had visited before.
The World of Fire was organized around a Great Core—the source of heat, magma, light, and life itself. And importantly, this world was not a planet, but rather a flat world revolving around a Great Core.
The closer the territory was to the Great Core, the higher the density of fire, the stronger the creatures were, the purer their nature, and the more resources were available. The further away from the core, the weaker and more unstable the fire became, more ash appeared, cooled lands, famine and wars.
As for the six fire factions, they were also related to the Great Core. It radiated six types of fire in a radial shape, and the world of fire was divided into six sectors and three circles—central, middle, and outer.
Unlike the world of Darkness and Light, in the world of fire, portals opened in all six factions, and the Eastern Continent turned into an arena of power struggle.
When Idan found out about this, he realized that he could no longer delay the search for his unknown blood relatives, who were pointed to by the {Threads of One Blood} artifact.
In addition, Idan was attracted by the presence of six different types of fire, each with its own unique properties.
“Scarlet fire is rage, White is power, Blue is control, Black is destruction, Golden is creation, and Ashen is survival,” Idan repeated, remembering what these six types of fire symbolize.
Having the bloodline of an Alpha of Fire and having access to only one type of fire, he couldn’t help but wonder, “Will I be able to master all these different types of fire?”
“My bloodline is definitely superior to everyone else in the world of fire. In fact, she is one of the most powerful even in Junonia — in the high-level world, unlike the World of Fire, which belongs to the middle level.”
Thinking about this, his gaze landed on Elira.
In her Flaming Crane form, she was magnificent. However, in human form she was just as beautiful and could drive men crazy. However, Idan, who had an equally beautiful wife, was not attracted by her beauty in this regard.
“It’s a pity that you can’t use the Golden Fire,” Idan whispered regretfully.
“Although my clan and I belong to the Golden Fire faction, like most of the creatures in our faction, we only possess standard flames,” Elira replied without resentment.
“Only a few manage to master the true Golden Fire, and among them are Diamond—ranked geniuses and, of course, Rank 6 creatures,” she added.
“If Master is interested in the Golden Fire, I can take you to my clan. Our ancestor is one of the few who comprehended the secrets of true fire, although he only reached the Diamond rank and already at an advanced age. Apart from him, so far no one from our clan has been able to master the true fire.”
“Oh, really?” — Of course, Idan was intrigued by Elira’s unexpected proposal.
“Is he here in this world?”
“Yes, he’s here,” Elira confirmed.
“You know, since our unfortunate meeting, I’ve always wanted to know where you came from,” Idan said with a smile.
Elira, however, did not believe his words.
“Really?” she asked doubtfully.
“Really, really,” Idan nodded and added, “I hope your clan doesn’t try to grab or eat me like it did with the members of the blue Fire faction.”
“Um… about that…” Elira hesitated slightly.
“I can’t guarantee that this won’t happen,” she nevertheless decided to voice her concerns.
“Okay, okay, don’t worry,” Idan patted Elira on the back.
“If that happens, I give you my word that I will not act unreasonably and will not destroy your clan,” he assured, confident in his abilities. A clan with only a Diamond-ranked creature at the helm posed no danger to him.
“At worst, I’ll just capture your ancestor for a while,” Idan added with a smile.
Elira didn’t know how to react to this. She began to doubt whether it was worth saying what she said. Perhaps she was bringing downfall to her clan.
However, after remembering all the advantages she had gained by being captured, she began to look at the situation differently. What if Idan took over her entire clan? Won’t she have more workers to mine the Fire Crystal in the lava lake? Moreover, many of her clansmen, like herself, will get a chance to achieve the coveted Diamond rank. What if one of them can master the true fire?
The more she thought about it, the more she began to like the idea.
Meanwhile, Idan took out a small disk and dripped his blood onto the crystal in the center. The crystal shone, and one by one, red threads began to appear.
“Oh, there are already seven of them,” — Idan was surprised.
Previously, there were only six of them. But now there are seven of them.
When Idan saw that the new thread was pointing in the same direction as the other two, very thin ones, he immediately realized who it belonged to. It was his and Arabel’s unborn child.
As for the other four threads, two of them led to the same place, while the other two diverged slightly, but the general direction was correct. It pointed to the territory controlled by the Golden Fire Faction. Where Elira’s clan was located. The Flaming Crane Clan.
