Chapter 1072: Oasis of Life

Chapter 1072: Oasis of Life

In her true form of a Flaming Crane, Elira flew with incredible speed. The scenery around them changed one after another, and Idan barely had time to see and appreciate the changes that had occurred on the Eastern Continent.

Indeed, the area has changed beyond recognition. It was no longer a familiar Land, but an almost completely different world.

The opening of portals from the World of Fire disrupted the balance of the elements in the world. The influence of the Great Core has spread to the Eastern Continent. In a short time, under its influence, most of the fire element was attracted here, which created a new world of fire on this continent.

Once upon a time, green forests and meadows were burned down, cities lay in ruins, and the ground was bleeding with liquid lava in places. Mountains could be seen in the distance, spewing clouds of ash.

Soon, Idan saw a stunning sight in the distance. Although he knew about it, seeing it with his own eyes was a completely different feeling.

An oasis of life lay before him, a miracle created by the world itself. The vast territory, untouched by fire and ashes, was reliably protected in order to maintain balance and prevent one of the continents from falling under the influence of another world.

In the Oasis, in the middle of a sea of fire and ashes, green forests, meadows, and even lakes and rivers grew luxuriantly.

It was incredible.

There was a huge city in the heart of the Oasis. And on its outskirts there were small villages where the surviving people who were engaged in agriculture lived.

The oasis not only had miraculous protection, but it was also filled with vital energy, which allowed the crops to grow faster and produce a bountiful harvest.

“Incredible, isn’t it?” asked Elira, watching Idan’s reaction.

Idan nodded, agreeing with her.

“This is one of the few Oases of Life, and it is under the control of the Scarlet Fire Faction. Therefore, it’s better for us not to risk it and avoid it.”

With that, Elira changed direction to go around the Oasis.

“Elira, do you really not know who from the Blake family sent Hans to get my mother and sister?”

“Unfortunately, Master, I really don’t know,” Elira replied, shaking her head. “Our clan cooperates with the Blake family. It was through this collaboration that I was asked to accompany and protect Hans during his journey to the Central Continent.”

“They didn’t tell me why he was heading to the Central Continent,” she added. “Out of curiosity, I tried to find out from Hans when we talked a little, but he never told me his secret. You’d better ask him yourself.”

“The thing is, no matter how much he wants to, he can’t say anything,” Idan said with annoyance. “He has a seal that does not allow talking about the Blake family and everything related to his assignment.”

“Since you stood up for him and he chose to cooperate with us, we can’t break the seal without harming his health and consciousness.”

Idan, massaging his temples, thought about the worst.

“Is this bastard really still alive and managed to have three more children?” he asked himself indignantly, referring to his biological father, who was believed to have been dead for three years.

However, considering that he had previously staged his own death, Idan would not be surprised if he found out that his father was alive.

The thought made his fists itch.

“If he’s alive, I’ll definitely beat the crap out of him,” he firmly decided. “What kind of responsible man would leave his wife and underage daughter immediately after the disaster?”

Idan himself was waiting for the birth of his first child, and this only increased his disappointment in his father, if he was alive. He would never do that to Arabel and their unborn child. Never.

Boom!

Suddenly, there was a deafening explosion, and a powerful stream of fire appeared in their path, forcing Elira to stop abruptly.

Three giant firebirds resembling predatory eagles emerged from the flames.

“The Flaming Eagles of the Scarlet Fire faction,” Elira said with obvious displeasure when she recognized them.

The three eagles began circling around Elira, as if assessing her.

“Since when did a noble member of the Golden Fire faction turn her back on despicable creatures and disgrace her name?” One of the eagles asked.

Elira didn’t like the way those eagles called her master despicable, even though Idan didn’t care. He was interested in something completely different.

Before Elira could answer, Idan’s voice rang in her mind.:

“How did they know you were from the Golden Fire Faction?”

“It’s very simple. If people recognize each other by their faces, height, walking style, and voice, then fire creatures from different factions can pick up on the characteristics of the other six factions upon closer inspection,” Elira replied. “Especially since the Flaming Crane Clan is only found in the Golden Fire, Blue Fire, and White Fire Factions.”

“Answer me!” one of the eagles exclaimed, not waiting for Elira’s reply.

Instead of words, Elira exuded the aura of a Diamond-ranked being, which could not be confused with anything, even though her power had been suppressed by the world to Platinum.

The three Flaming Eagles, who only possessed the Platinum rank, flapped their wings in fright and retreated back. However, remembering where they were, they overcame their fear.

“What’s all this about?” one of them asked.

“You do understand whose territory you’re in, don’t you?”

The flames on their manes and wings flared up, expressing their hostility in response to Elira’s actions.

Before the eagles could do anything, a bright light shone on Elira’s back, blinding them.

Then, an incredible pressure of Soul Force descended on them, which instantly extinguished the flames that had just erupted around them.

A powerful invisible grip gripped their throats and pulled them towards Elira.

“I don’t want to stay here and attract too much attention by fighting,” Idan thought, standing on Elira’s back in the form of the Alpha of Light, raising his rank to Platinum.

Just in case, he decided not to use his Alpha Fire bloodline to avoid attracting attention. He had concerns that in this continent where the fire element was everywhere, the fluctuations of his bloodline could be detected from a great distance.

The eagles fell silent, their eyes bulging like helpless chickens being held by the throat.

With a wave of his hand, Idan opened the Access Portal and threw the Eagles inside.

“Additional information about the Scarlet Fire Faction will never be superfluous,” Idan said, rubbing his palms.

Meanwhile, Elira couldn’t believe what had just happened.
