Chapter 1077: Instead of answers, everything became even more confusing.

“Are you… are you Adrian’s son?” — Estelle asked, and Amanda, eyes wide and covering her mouth with her hands, stared at Idan in surprise.

Idan, in turn, frowned even more, completely confused.

“Adrian, Damian… explain to me who is who, or are these the names of the same person?”

“No,” — Amanda shook her head. “Adrian and Damian are two completely different people, although they are similar to each other. They’re brothers… twins.”

For a moment, Idan seemed to stop thinking.

“No, no, no,” he protested.

“Adrian, Damian… brothers… twins?” It sounded in the silence.

“No, you’re lying,” Idan didn’t want to believe it.

“What? Lie?” — Amanda couldn’t accept such an accusation against herself. “I’m their sister. I grew up with them. I know what I’m talking about.”

Idan still didn’t believe her, dripping his blood onto the crystal again, and it flashed with a bright light, seven red threads appeared on the surface.

“The artifact can’t…” Idan stopped in mid—sentence when a sudden realization dawned on him.

“What if the artifact is unable to distinguish between twins?”

“What if it sees the twins as one?”—this thought made his heart flutter.

His gaze, full of doubt, fell on an artifact in the form of a disk with a red crystal.

“Have I been following my father’s shadow all this time? His twin brother?”

The disappointment and annoyance he felt over his father’s actions and the desire to kick his ass were replaced by another disappointment. It was disappointing that he had been chasing and hating an already dead man all this time and that he would not be able to beat him properly.

“So that day three years ago… did he really die?” he wondered.

Then his gaze fell on the little boys behind Estelle.

“So these two twins are my cousins?”

Amanda and Estelle were no less surprised than Idan, and they were also a little confused.

Both women examined Idan carefully. But no matter how much they looked, they couldn’t find anything in common with either Adrian or Damian in his eyes, facial features, or demeanor.

The only thing that indicated his connection to these two was the mysterious artifact in his hands.

“So, who is this? Next to Damian?” asked Idan, looking up at Estelle and then at Amanda.

“This is Ryan,” Estelle replied. “My eldest son.”

“Adrian’s son,” Amanda added.

“Adrian’s son?”—Idan’s eyebrows went up. “How old is he?”

Amanda turned to Estelle, who replied:

“He’s 23.”

«23? So he’s my older brother?”

This was another revelation that Idan couldn’t just accept.

He never even in his wildest dreams thought that he might have an older brother somewhere.

If Idan hadn’t shown much interest in his father’s past before, now he had a lot of questions. Mostly, he wanted to fully understand this confusing situation of the twin brothers and figure out who is who.

And the two in front of him were the ones who could reveal many of the twins’ secrets.

“I want to discuss with you a lot of important things about Adrian, Damian, and you, Estelle,” Idan began.

“But not now.” Idan noticed that it was getting noisier outside.

“That old man didn’t listen to my words after all,” he said irritably.

After hearing his words and checking what was going on outside, Amanda panicked.

Idan waved his hand and opened the Access portal leading to the Kingdom.

“Ladies, would you like to enter the portal?” he asked Amanda and Estelle.

The two women looked at each other, doubt and anxiety evident in their eyes.

“Don’t be afraid, I won’t do anything to you. Moreover, there is nothing dangerous there. This is my home,” Idan assured them, seeing their concern. “Once I’ve dealt with the matters here, we can talk in more detail.”

Both women were in no hurry. They couldn’t just blindly believe him.

“Fine,”— Idan said, seeing how the situation outside the mansion was escalating and how many people were trying to overcome his surveillance defenses. He decided to act.

“I apologize in advance,” after saying that, he used his Soul Power to push the women inside the portal without letting them say anything. Then he carefully picked up the two boys and placed them in the portal as well, after which he closed it.

“I’ll deal with the consequences later,” he muttered to himself and headed for the exit of the mansion, simultaneously pulling out the {Whisper Talisman} and texting Elira. At the same time, his hair flashed with a bright light, and his eyes were filled with a golden glow as he transformed into an Alpha of Light.

When he left the house, he saw that the mansion was surrounded by many armed men, most of whom had a Golden rank. They all wore the same uniform with the familiar Blake family crest on their chests.

He noticed several Platinum-ranked people among them, including the man he had recently pinned to a chair.

Now, after the unexpected revelations, Idan was not in a good mood.

“Didn’t I tell you to lie down and not dig?” he asked the man, using his Soul Force to make him fall face down in front of everyone present.

At the same moment, the muzzles of many machine guns were aimed at Idan.

“Heh” — Idan wasn’t scared. Instead, he chuckled and asked, “Are all of you so-called Contractors?”

There was no response.

The faces of the Platinum-ranked people turned gloomy when they saw the condition of one of them.

Previously, they hadn’t believed the man’s words about the stranger’s strength, but now they could clearly feel the Platinum-ranked fluctuations from this young man.

This indicated that he was not a creature from other worlds, but a local, recognized by the World, and his rank was not suppressed within the Oasis.

Standing in front of them was none other than the Awakened One.

Pinned to the ground, the man was beside himself with rage and humiliation.

No one had ever addressed him that way before today. Few people dared to raise their eyes and look at his face.

Previously, they couldn’t overcome the restrictions set by Idan. But now that he had left the mansion, they had conducted a scan and had not detected anyone’s presence.

Idan replied:

“Give me at least one reason why I should answer you.”

He looked around at everyone again.

“If you think you can scare me with all this, then you’re wrong,” Idan said with a smile.

“I was facing a threat much more dangerous than all of this.” With these words, Idan meant the explosion of a nuclear charge. Although this only happened in simulation, it was one of the most dangerous attacks for him, which almost led to the death of his avatar.

At that moment, the cry of an approaching flock of fire birds came from the sky.

Hearing this sound, the people from the Blake family smiled, and some even breathed a sigh of relief.

Meanwhile, they noticed that the guy was also smiling, looking up at the sky.
