Chapter 1118: Personal Token
Chapter 1118: Personal Token
“So there are two other Council members in this city besides you? And Auremia, it turns out, is not here?”— Idan asked the Ashen Seraphim.
After Livia drank a vitality-restoring potion, she regained her former appearance and no longer resembled a lifeless corpse.
“Yes,” Livia nodded, a complicated expression in her eyes as she looked at the young man in front of her.
Elder Saelina, a representative of the Flaming Ifrits, sat a little to the side, her surprise was no less than Livia’s.
No matter how strange it may seem, but both women, observing the behavior of Idan and the girl in black, were convinced that they were the same young man.
The thing is, Idan has returned in his true form, without any disguise. His rank dropped from Platinum to Golden, which further amazed the two representatives of the World of Fire.
“Hmm…” Idan was lost in thought as he considered the new information he had received from Livia and Saelina.
He glanced at Prina, who was completely engrossed in watching the series, not paying attention to their conversation.
And Cecile, who had been sent on an errand, had not yet returned, which indicated that Damian had not left the Dungeon.
While waiting for Cecile’s answer, Idan decided to tackle another task — the search for the True Fires.
“Saelina, I want you to bring the Flaming Crane ancestor here. I know he’s in the city.”
Saeline raised an eyebrow in surprise, but then, remembering what exactly the Flaming Cranes ancestor was different, she quickly realized why this young man needed him.
“Okay,” she agreed without hesitation, accustomed to running errands for the Council.
Standing up, she turned to Livia.:
“Lady Livia, may I have your personal token?”
Livia frowned slightly. The usual desire to refuse rose up in her again, sharp and domineering, as if instinctive. Her personal token was not just a symbol of authority — whoever held it in their hands could speak on her behalf.
However, as soon as this desire took shape into an intention, the invisible shackles of the contract immediately bound her will. The thought of resistance disappeared before it became reality.
A moment later, Livia wordlessly took out a round gold token from the spatial storage and tossed it to Saelin.
When Saeline was about to catch the token, it suddenly changed its trajectory and fell into Idan’s hands.
He caught it, ignoring the woman’s stares, spun it in front of him, studying it, and only then tossed it to Saeline.
“I could use a token like that, too,” he said to Livia with a smile.
No matter how much she wanted to keep her token, Livia couldn’t refuse him. The contract required her to listen to his words. She silently took out a second token and, sighing slightly, tossed it to him.
After catching the token, Idan hid it in the spatial ring, and Saeline left the room to go in search of the ancestor of the Flaming Cranes.
“Livia, how well are you familiar with the other factions? Especially with those who possess True Fire, like the Ancestor of the Flaming Cranes?” asked Idan.
He thought that if there were beings like the Ancestor of the Flaming Cranes who were not part of the inner circle but were able to master True Fire, then there must be similar unique individuals in other factions.
Idan doesn’t have to hunt down faction leaders. It will be easier for him to focus on those who belong to the middle circle.
“As in our Faction, among the members of the Council of other Factions, only the Leaders have True Fires,” Livia began to share information. “However, among the clans of the middle circle, there are several outstanding individuals who also possess true fires.”
With that, Livia listed the creatures from the other Factions whose presence had been confirmed by the Golden Fire Faction’s intelligence.

When Livia announced the list of potential targets for Idan, he frowned.
“The Elementals?”
Idan couldn’t help but notice that half of the creatures on the list were fire elementals with True Fire.
“As you said, elementals have the best chance of mastering true fire, because they are a race born from the flame itself,” Livia explained.
This made Idan wonder: how does an elemental differ from a spirit? And also from his own Spirit Form?
After thinking for a while, he turned to Livia.:
“Livia, I need you to gather all the available information about these creatures. I want to know where they are, what they do, what their habits and preferences are, who their enemies are, how they relate to their faction and others. I need to know everything.”
“Okay,” — Livia nodded, still not understanding why he needed creatures with True Fire. However, an order was an order, and she couldn’t disobey it.
Idan’s plan was simple.
Before deciding how to act, he needed to find out what kind of creatures they were. He was considering whether to try to make contact with them and negotiate, or just start hunting them.
Besides, he wasn’t going to participate in it personally.
Now that he had the appropriate subordinates, he could assign them this task, and he could only collect the results of their actions.
A little more time passed, and Saeline returned before Cecile, bringing the Flaming Crane ancestor with her.
Livia’s personal token helped her a lot in this, after seeing which the ancestor of the Flaming Cranes could not refuse the invitation.
Finally, Idan could see the True Golden Fire with his own eyes and try to master it.
