Chapter 1121: Fewer words

Chapter 1121: Fewer words

“To protect me?”

For a moment, Idan was seized with a desire to hear Adrian’s excuses, but he quickly pushed the thought away, shaking his head.

“To be honest, I’m not interested in this anymore,” he said calmly.

“I already know everything I need to know.”

With that, Idan stretched his neck and cracked his knuckles.

“In part, I brought you here not to hear your excuses, but to put an end to this issue.”

“After everything I’ve learned, I couldn’t just forget about it without trying to beat the crap out of you at least once.”

“So grit your teeth, Adrian. If you like to “suffer” so much, then I will give it to you in full soon.”

With that, Idan disappeared from the spot and appeared in front of Adrian, hitting him in the right side with such force that the air left Adrian’s lungs.

“No!” — Inessa and Estelle exclaimed in unison when they saw Idan hitting Adrian. However, their cry was drowned out by the dark veil that Sierra had created.

In addition, an invisible force held them in place, not allowing them to leave it.

Not only them, but everyone else was deprived of the opportunity to interfere with what was happening in front of them, and they could only watch.

Adrian hadn’t expected such a sudden attack. A blow to his side caught him off guard, forcing him to lean to the left. Which was followed by a blow to the face from the right side, and he fell.

There was nothing in Idan’s attack but a crushing punch.

No magic, no aura, no Soul Force, just brute physical strength.

Adrian’s head was buzzing and there was a metallic taste in his mouth. He felt two more teeth knocked out on his right side with his tongue.

“Get up,” Idan said, showing his intention not to hit the prone man.

Adrian did not want to engage in a duel with his son, but he was not going to put up with such disrespect for himself.

Spitting out blood along with his broken teeth, he stood up, and his gaze became stern.

“If that’s the case, then don’t think that…” Adrian didn’t have time to finish, as Idan swiftly attacked.

This time, Adrian was ready and was able to dodge the blow.

However, he immediately noticed the second blow, which he could not deflect, but blocked.

Bam!

Adrian was thrown up slightly.

“Fewer words,” — Idan said without stopping. He appeared in front of Adrian even before he touched the ground, and delivered a crushing blow directly to the solar plexus, knocking him back.

This blow was the last straw, and Adrian finally gave up trying to talk and explain himself.

His brown eyes shone red, and his long black hair turned the same shade. The air around him began to heat up and distort.

This time, Adrian took the initiative and attacked Idan.

“Fire? Against me?” — Idan snorted, showing neither fear nor excitement.

“Raaa!” a powerful blow rang out with a cry, falling on Idan, followed by flames.

Adrian didn’t hold back: he could feel the fluctuations in the power of the Gold Rank, and the blows he received told him that his son was a true cultivator.

When the fire engulfed Idan, the women watching were horrified and almost fainted.

“Brother!” — Ina exclaimed, hugging Irene tightly.

“Don’t worry, Ina,” Irene said with a smile, and her words were heard by everyone. “Such an attack won’t be able to harm him. Especially the fire.”

Boom!

There was a deafening explosion, and the flames dispersed, revealing Idan, unharmed. And a little further on, something fell with a crash on the ground.

This “something” turned out to be Adrian, whom Idan sent flying with his punch.

“You see?” Irene asked Ina.

Ina nodded, startled by what was happening.

Irene looked up and, seeing Idan and his Golden Rank, added:

“Brother doesn’t even see it as a battle. It’s just a beating.”

Adrian staggered to his feet.

The blow he had just received was the most severe and painful of all. His whole body ached. However, his mind was occupied with another question, “How can he be so strong?”

His already uncertain gaze fell on Idan, who was standing in the distance.

And no matter how he looked, the power of the Golden Rank emanated from Idan.

And he, Adrian, was already a Platinum-ranked being.

Before he could realize what was happening, his gaze caught Idan’s swift movement: The man disappeared and appeared right in front of him, landing a powerful blow on him, which he barely dodged.

“Idan!” exclaimed Adrian. “Let’s stop!”

He tried to stop him, but Idan wasn’t listening and wasn’t going to stop.

Adrian was hit by a series of powerful blows, which he barely managed to avoid.

He tried again to use his flame and Soul Force to stop Idan, but it was all in vain. No matter how he tried to stop Idan, his attacks felt like they were crashing against a stone wall.

Adrian was at a loss: How could a Golden-ranked man be stronger than him, a Platinum-ranked man?

And then Idan seemed to lose his balance and stumbled. Adrian didn’t miss the chance and counterattacked him, unaware that Idan had done it intentionally.

In fact, Idan, succumbing to curiosity, got distracted and decided to test what a Platinum-ranked contractor was capable of, postponing the beating for a while.

In the end, the result was disappointing.

He dodged Adrian’s attack and, deciding that it was time to stop experimenting, already knowing the limits of his abilities, delivered a powerful blow to the left side.

Crack!

His punch broke a couple of Adrian’s ribs and knocked all the air out of his lungs.

Without giving Adrian time to recover, Idan immediately stabbed him in the other side.

Crack!

Two more ribs were broken.

Adrian tried to attack, but Idan caught his arm.

Crack!

A sharp pain shot through Adrian’s right arm, and he tried to strike with his left hand, but Idan caught it as well.

“No!”

Adrian was gripped by fear at the realization of what was about to happen.

Crack!

The other arm was broken.

Adrian’s brain did not have time to process the pain signal, as his ears heard two more crunches, and he lost the strength of his legs.

But before he could fall, a crushing force smashed into his face.

The flash! Crack! Followed by darkness.

His nose was broken, and he went flying on his own.
