Chapter 1126: All this time, I’ve been postponing and rejecting this…

The Fire Elemental Tree, like a match, burst into a bright golden flame.

Idan, afraid for the tree, shrank inwardly, but noticing that the flame was not harming him, he gradually relaxed.

“Rrraaar!” the alarmed animals growled, worrying about the tree and expressing their dissatisfaction with Idan.

“Haha,” he laughed dryly in response, without taking his eyes off the tree.

Behind him, Cyrion was gradually coming to his senses.

His gaze darted from Idan’s back to the tree, then back again.

After watching for a while, Idan cautiously approached the tree and, reaching out, touched its trunk.

The tree shuddered slightly, but when it felt the familiar vibrations, it calmed down.

“So are you busy?” said Idan with a smile, realizing that the tree was completely absorbed in thoughts of the Golden Fire.

In response, the tree swayed, as if confirming his guess.

“Did it really begin to comprehend the Golden Fire by itself?” A thought flashed through Idan’s mind. Wasting no time, he wordlessly conveyed his intention to the tree and soon felt its response.

Idan took out a dozen Diamond-grade Fire Crystals from his spatial ring and placed them around the tree.

Cyrion’s eyes almost popped out of his head in surprise when he saw so many top-quality Fire Crystals in one place. And when he saw how roots appeared out of the ground and began to absorb these crystals, his breath caught in his throat, and he clutched his chest.

Ignoring Cyrion’s suffering, Idan approached and sat down with his back to a tree.

“Well, let’s try,” he whispered and closed his eyes.

“What is he doing?” wondered Cyrion, watching him. Suddenly, he noticed how Idan’s appearance began to change again.

Idan’s red hair burst into flames, and his skin began to disintegrate and burn, revealing a red-hot body made of fire.

Idan transformed once again, but this time into his Flame Spirit Form.

“Him… Is he also an Elemental?” — Cyrion mistakenly thought, shuddering with fear and trying to suppress the newly growing hunger inside. This time, he didn’t succumb to it. The fear of the recent gaze of that powerful being was deeply imprinted in his soul, becoming the shackles that held Cyrion, preventing him from going mad again.

The beasts didn’t react as violently as Cyrion. Some of them were already familiar with this form of Idan and even had the honor of fighting against him, so they understood his full power.

Despite his desire, not a single beast thought about attacking Idan. Instead, their attention was focused on the tree and, in particular, on the Golden Fire.

As creatures of the element of Fire, the beasts were as fascinated by True Fire as Idan himself. Soon, they were completely focused on it, trying to understand its nature or find benefits in it.

After assuming his Flame Spirit Form, Idan focused entirely on absorbing the fire source around him to maintain that form. He didn’t need to fight this time, so he wasn’t aiming for full power. His goal was to find the most comfortable and slow absorption rate in order to minimize energy expenditure and stay in this state for as long as possible.

After he dealt with this issue, Idan did not stop there.

He raised his hand and pulled out a red fire elemental sphere from his spatial ring. Inside this sphere was one of the few symbiotic creatures of the element of fire that Idan was able to capture and preserve after the massacre and killing of fire creatures in the heart of the Fire Anomaly.

“All this time, I’ve been postponing and rejecting this…” he whispered, looking at the red blob of living energy inside the sphere.

“I think now is the time to find my own symbiotic creature,” with these words, Idan poured his fiery energy and soul power into the sphere.

[Ding! A symbiotic creature of the element of fire has been discovered. Establish a connection?]

This time, Idan did not delay and refused.

“Yes,” he said, giving his consent.

System, having received the agreement, immediately began to establish a symbiotic relationship between Idan and this creature of fire.

Idan realized that the advantage of the System’s help in forming this bond was that their system completely severed all previous connections of this symbiotic being. Thanks to this, Idan became the only being with whom this creature would establish a connection.

[Completed] — the System reported.

Idan felt a flood of other people’s emotions rush into his mind, and with them a unique understanding of the element of fire.

As Arabel had said, he couldn’t hear the creature’s voice or thoughts. However, he felt strange emotions that echoed his own.

“This is a bit strange,” Idan thought, opening his eyes and examining his body. He still didn’t know what this creature gave him besides the ability to understand the element of fire, but at the moment he wasn’t too worried about it.

The most important thing for Idan right now was to get help understanding the element of fire.

“As they say, one head is good, but two heads are better,” he chuckled to himself.

After finishing all the preparations, Idan turned his gaze to the tree.

“Well, buddy, let’s get started?” he said with a smile.

In response to his words, several branches of the tree entwined around him, wrapping around his flaming body and filling it with Golden Fire.

While in his Spirit Form, Idan greedily absorbed this Fire, passing it through his body. And soon, his red-fiery essence turned into the bright light of a True Flame.

The tree was like a filter, purifying Cyrion’s Golden Fire and sharing the pure but weak Golden Fire with Idan. At the same time, it absorbed Idan’s flame, taking away the sparks of understanding from him and sharing its own.

Soon, Idan became so focused that he completely lost touch with reality and time.

It was only when he was overcome by a feeling of euphoria and slight satisfaction that he slowly returned to reality, slowly opening his eyes.

It seemed to him that very little time had passed.

After getting used to the light, he looked around and saw Cyrion, who was sitting nearby. But when his gaze fell on Elira and the rest of the Flaming Cranes, who were completely focused on comprehending the Golden Fire, Idan felt a little confused.

“Look, sleeping beauty has woken up,” Sierra’s voice echoed in his head.

“How long have I been sitting here?” asked Idan, looking up, ignoring Sierra’s sarcasm.

“Three days,” she replied, and Idan’s eyes widened in shock.
