Chapter 1138: A conversation with Ryan and Amanda II

“The Alpha race is one of the highest races in Junonia, along with the Valkyries,” Idan began, revealing to them all the information he currently knows about Alphas.

“My wife Belle and some of the other girls have Valkyrie bloodlines. However, as for Alphas, only I have them.” Idan did not take into account Ned, who could take on any form, and Nemo, whose bloodline was sealed, although it had roots from the bloodline of Alphas.

“If you agree, you will become the second Alpha in the Kingdom,” Idan said, taking out a small vial and placing it on the coffee table in front of him.

“This is a Rank 3 Alpha bloodline potion. By taking it, you’ll probably turn into a Golden-ranked Alpha of Fire.”

“As an Awakened One, my wife and I have the unique ability to have multiple bloodlines at once. However, unlike us, by taking this potion, you will forever become the Alpha of Fire, having lost your human form,” Idan warned.

“Also, as I’ve noticed, since the Alpha of Fire bloodline comes from a high-level world, it strongly attracts Creatures of Fire. Therefore, you should be especially careful in their presence,” Idan warned.

“But if you decide to refuse, I will understand and give you guidance on the Path of Magic,” Idan added.

Ryan accepted the potion with a slight nod, feeling a strange throbbing in his chest and an overwhelming desire to drink it immediately.

Amanda, watching him, pouted slightly and turned her gaze to Idan.

Idan noticed her displeased look.

“Nothing,” she turned away.

“As I said before, Auntie, I can’t help you right now, but that doesn’t mean I won’t help. You’ll just have to wait a bit,” Idan said, realizing what she was thinking and why she was sulking.

“And one more thing: you haven’t become part of the Kingdom yet, so I’m sorry, even if I help you, you won’t get the potion,” he added with a slight smile.

“Huh?” said Amanda in surprise, staring intently at her nephew.

“I am ready to personally help you in this situation, because you are my family. However, I can’t provide the Kingdom’s resources for nothing,” Idan explained. “If you want to receive not only potions, but also manuals, as well as other resources, then you need to officially join us as Ryan and pledge allegiance to the Kingdom.”

Idan used this opportunity to repeat to Amanda what he had already told Ryan earlier. He said that a family is one thing, but a Kingdom is quite another.

Amanda frowned. It took her a while to come to a decision.

“Okay, I agree,” she announced, and immediately took the oath.

“I, Amanda Blake, swear to abide by the laws of the Kingdom, keep its secrets, protect it, and not betray it.”

Part of her decision to join the Kingdom was dictated by the fact that her nephew was its King and her sister-in-law was its Queen. Besides, as she could see, her nephew was not against her continuing to stay in the Blake family, without demanding that she leave it.

“Okay, I accept your oath,” Idan nodded with a satisfied smile.

Geminia and Eleanor entered the house at that moment. Geminia had her usual smile on her face, while Eleanor looked thoughtful and frowning.

“How’s it going?” — Idan asked Geminia, and she shook her head.

“So that’s it,” sighed Idan, and without wasting time, he turned to Geminia through his Soul Force: “What exactly did she not suit you?”

Geminia laughed at Idan’s question.

“You misunderstood me, Idan. I am very interested in her, and I want her to become my subordinate.”

“Huh?” said Idan, surprised.

Then he quickly guessed what had really happened.

“Is she the one who refused?”

He remembered that all this time his grandmother had refused the help of beings from other worlds. Eleanor accepted pills and help from him because Idan was her grandson. Geminia was no different from beings from other worlds in this regard, and therefore she couldn’t accept her offer.

“Yes, she refused,” Geminia nodded, still smiling. “But somehow I’m sure that despite her refusal, she’ll eventually agree.”
