The ancient city trembled. A mysterious rune flashed on the First Guardian’s right shoulder and immediately went out.
“The first seal has been lifted. There are four left!”
Irene and Lucinda became alert, preparing to face the boss, who was reinforced by the element of darkness.
Meanwhile, Soul Queen entered the second gate with two allies to remove the next seal, following the prompts. Lord of the Dead and his companions left the first gate and headed towards the square, while the group defending the entrance moved towards the third.
After reaching the center, Lord of the Dead replaced Ned, Milena, and Nayla in the defense against the monsters, allowing them to move to the third gate.

“What’s going on? Why did they switch places?” wondered Arabel, keeping a close eye on each group.
It was at this point in her tactics that she had previously become confused.

“It’s simple, Belle. Three teams are participating in the raid. Only three people can enter each gate, no more and no less. Until there are three people at the entrance, the gate will not open.”
He pointed at the hands of Lord of the Dead and his two companions.

“Lucinda, it’s time!” called Irene, pulling Lucinda out of the world of her own thoughts.
Following the previously developed plan of action, she, Irene and Arslan moved to the fourth gate, leaving it to Soul Queen and her two companions to distract the boss.

“Now that I’ve figured out what needs to be done, everything seems pretty simple,” she added with confidence.
Idan did not share her optimism.
Although it looked simple in words, it was much more complicated in reality. Success did not depend on one person, but on the well-coordinated work of the entire team, which meant that there were many factors that could lead to problems and failures.

“That’s right.”

Shortly after, the third seal was lifted. In the square, runes flashed on both legs of the first Guardian, which immediately disappeared.

After removing the third seal, the boss could instantly move to anyone within its shadow, choosing a target randomly.
When the fourth seal was lifted, the boss had a shadow copy of him.
The last to enter the fifth gate were Lucinda, Irene and Arslan. Ned, Milena, and Nayla remained to defend the gate, while the other two teams converged on the square.
It was getting harder to contain the boss, and the number of monsters was growing by the moment.
Time seemed to be passing too slowly, and the group at the fifth gate was working too slowly. Although they completed their task faster than anyone else.
But even so, the boss took one of Soul Queen team members by surprise and killed him.
By the time the fifth seal was removed, 16 people remained alive.
When the seal was removed, a rune flashed on the chest of the First Guardian and disappeared.
There was a moment of silence before the shadow of the boss disappeared and the boss exploded with power. As the group watched, his rank rose from fourth to fifth.
Then he disappeared from his seat and appeared at the opposite end of the square from where he was standing.
Then everyone heard the sound of falling bodies and saw with horror how two people fell to the ground without their heads.
Their heads, falling late, rolled across the square.
