Supreme Husband System! & Supreme Wife System!

Chapter 1168: This can't go on anymore

Chapter 1168: This can’t go on anymore

“To protect not from potential threats, but to protect the child from myself?”

Arabel lowered her gaze.

“That could explain her silence. System probably knew or assumed that something like this could happen, and took measures in advance to protect the child.”

As long as her extremes existed in her head, there was always a risk in the unique space created by the power of the ring given by the Host of the “Supreme Widow System”, where System could not look.

System could not have foreseen everything without knowing what was happening in this space.

In which case, Arabel herself could pose a threat to the safety of the child.

If she was right, it meant that System didn’t trust her.

If Arabel had known earlier that the protective barrier was created by System to protect her child from herself, she would have felt resentment and anger at System.

But now, seeing where everything had led, she wasn’t angry, but grateful to System.

Arabel raised her head and looked at her extremes.

She couldn’t ignore them anymore.

If she doesn’t take action, someone else might come forward in the future, not to mention that others might appear.

“This can’t go on anymore,” she told herself.

Her extremes didn’t hear it, but they sensed her intentions, and they didn’t like it.

Arabel sighed and stood up cautiously.

“Since you’re all here, does that mean that the Avatar’s ability has been canceled?”

Arabel did not remember canceling her ability herself, but she admitted that she could have done it instinctively when she was under the influence of White, feeling threatened. Because of this, she did not know if her condition had had time to affect Bera.

“What about Bera? Is she okay?”

“She doesn’t even remember it,” Pink said with a slight irritation in her voice.

The blue one gave her a stern look, and then, turning to Arabel, tried to calm her down.:

“You’ve severed ties with Bera, big sister, so she should be fine. And it so happened that Pink and Black were there, and they were forcibly torn out of her mind and brought back here.”

“You know, Sister, it was very painful!”

Not only Pink, but also Black, who had been silent all this time with a gloomy expression, was angry because of this.

Despite the strangeness of the situation, Arabel lowered her head and said:

“Forgive me if my actions have caused you pain.”

She didn’t try to justify herself.

After she apologized to her “extremes,” Arabel felt an extraordinary lightness. It was as if she had received forgiveness from herself.

“Silver,” she said to her youngest version, the owner of the place.

“Bring me back.”

Her request immediately caused everyone’s concern.

“You’re crazy!” the Pink One exclaimed first.

“No!” the Black One forbade.

“Big Sister, I don’t think this is the best idea,” Blue added.

Silver was startled when everyone started talking at the same time. She abruptly hugged the little fox, who gasped, and it eyes bulged.

“Ah! I’m sorry, Shady!” exclaimed Silver, coming to her senses and loosening her grip.

Seeing their concern, Arabel approached Silver with a sincere smile.

“It’s okay,” she gently ruffled her silver hair and told everyone. “Sitting here and hiding won’t change anything.”

“Especially now that I know what the root of the problem is, I’m sure that I’ll be fine and that the White One won’t touch me,” she said confidently.

Everyone stared at her in surprise.

“Silver, be a good girl, open the rift,” Arabel asked softly.

Silver, all red, almost melted from her strokes, obediently nodded and opened the rift.

“Thank you,” — Arabel said, and before she left, she turned to the others.

“You stay here for now,” she said. “All I’m sure of is that the White One won’t hurt me, but I’m not sure about you.”

In response, Pink grinned.

“Heh, we weren’t going to follow you anyway.”

“Speak only for yourself,” the Blue One objected.

“The traitor!” Pink exclaimed, although it was clear to everyone that she was just pretending.

As soon as Arabel left Silver’s hideout, the cold air hit her.

“Brrrr,” she shuddered and, opening the door, confidently stepped inside the house.

Shhh!

As before, a white fog appeared from the direction of the stairs leading to the second floor and rushed towards Arabel.

She stopped.

Feeling neither fear nor any attempt to defend herself, Arabel watched curiously as the fog approached her.

“Heh.”

A smile spread across Arabel’s face.

She was right. The fog did not harm her, as if there was an invisible barrier around her that did not allow it to touch her.

As she took a step forward, the fog began to part, opening her way to the stairs leading to the second floor.

Knowing that the private rooms of her “Extremes” were on the second floor, Arabel confidently headed for White one’s room.

A place that belonged to her, and a place where she felt completely safe.

When Arabel went up to the second floor and approached White one’s room, the white ice door opened warmly, inviting her to enter.

Various items were scattered in the snow-white room, the walls of which were hung with posters depicting Idan in her image as the Alpha of Fire.

“This is…”

Arabel recognized these items as the very things she had bought from the “Trade” function.

There were two cradles by the bed.

On the left was a cradle made of white wood, silver and ice crystals, decorated with runes, and on the right was a cradle made of dark wood, gold and fire stones, also decorated with runes.

And she was sitting on the bed itself, White. She had the same long white hair and azure eyes, and her belly bulged just like Arabel herself.

Instead of a cold, determined and self-controlled White woman, Arabel saw a frightened and vulnerable woman who, trembling, gently stroked her stomach.

When she saw Arabel, the White One was not angry, but, on the contrary, delighted.

“You came, big sister,” she said with a smile.
