Chapter 1172: Am I really that scary?
Waking up in the morning, Arabel felt that she did not feel the usual warmth and hugs. She reached out to her husband, but when she couldn’t find him next to her, she opened her eyes and found herself lying alone in a huge bed.
She sat up and checked the entire family home, but couldn’t find Idan.
Pouting, she sank back onto the bed.
Usually, when they slept together, he was always there when she woke up. Therefore, his absence came as a complete surprise to her.
“I wonder where he went so early?” mused Arabel, gently stroking her stomach. Suddenly, she felt a slight flash of fire element, which, fortunately, did not harm her. This indicated that Idan had only recently left.
Without hurrying to get up, she closed her eyes and decided to wait for his return.
Lying down, Arabel, using her contract with Bera, turned to her and activated the avatar ability. At the same moment, her own copy materialized inside the space that she felt in her mind inside White’s room.
“Hmm… interesting,” — Arabel murmured.
She was awake and still lying down, but at the same time, her avatar appeared outside, and another version of her appeared inside her mind.
Her copy, located in the depths of her subconscious, looked around and saw a familiar room. Everything was in its place, just as she remembered. There were even two cradles by the bed.
Arabel lowered her head and looked at her rounded belly, her snow-white arms and her long white hair. Gradually, she began to realize that she was White.
White had always been a part of her, and now that she was back, she could use her as her avatar to act in this space.
“I’ll still call this part of me White,” Arabel thought, and from somewhere deep in her chest came a response of agreement.
After carefully examining the room once more, she left it to find the rest of her extremes and at the same time see what had changed here.
The first thing she noticed was that the ice and snow had melted, returning the house to its original warm and cozy appearance.
“Where is everyone?” White Arabel whispered, finding no one.
There was not a soul on the second and first floors. There was complete silence inside.
Just like outside.
“Are they all there already?” White Arabel fixed her gaze into the distance, as if trying to peer over the horizon.
To test her guess, she resolutely stepped forward. Soon her house was left behind, and another similar one appeared in front of her.
When she approached the house and slightly opened the door, she heard cheerful laughter coming from inside.
She was right.
The other Extremes were here, in the mind of her avatar, along with Bera.
When Arabel entered, she saw them all: Pink, Black, Blue, Silver with a dark fox cub, and another little girl with long red hair, slightly smaller than Silver.
She looked a lot like Silver, but Arabel quickly realized that it was Bera’s consciousness.
“Bera has grown up so much,” she thought with surprise. The last time she saw her, she was just a baby.
With her appearance, the laughter suddenly stopped, and silence reigned.
“Master!”
There was a shout of joy, and little Bera, without hesitation, rushed to the White Arabel.
However, Pink and Black deftly caught her, preventing her from approaching.
“Is the eldest White?” asked Silver in surprise.
“No, Silver, it’s not her,” Pink corrected her.
Besides the innocent Silver, Arabel noticed fear in the Pink, Black and Blue eyes.
This did not come as a surprise to her.
No, she was ready for such an attitude.
It would be naive to think that they would welcome her with open arms after what she did to White.
“Am I really that scary?” She asked with a sad expression on her face. “If my presence here is undesirable, I will understand and leave.”
When there was no response, Arabel turned to leave.
“Wait!”
Blue stopped her.
She exchanged glances with Pink and Black, and then, sighing, said:
“Don’t go, big sister. Stay with us.”
Pink and Black released Bera, who immediately ran up to Arabel and hugged her tightly.
“Master!” she exclaimed.
Silver appeared behind Bera, but she hesitated for a moment before joining the embrace. It was still difficult for her to realize who was standing in front of her.
“Call me Big Sister or White,” Arabel said, then glanced at the others and added: “You can also call me whatever you like here.”
“Big sister,” Silver hugged her from the other side after releasing her dark fox cub.
Arabel couldn’t help but smile happily as she hugged the two little girls.
Despite some awkwardness, Arabel decided to join the others in their game.
She didn’t want to sort things out right now, but just wanted to spend time with her extremes and chat with them. She also wanted to spend time with Bera and find out how much she had grown.
Outside, Arabel was so engrossed in dealing with her Extremes that she didn’t notice Idan’s arrival.
It was only when he carefully lay down next to her and gently hugged her that she finally paid attention to him.
“You’re back,” she said with a smile.
“How long have you been awake?” asked Idan, gently kissing the top of her head.
“Recently,” she replied, enjoying the warmth of his embrace.
As if energized by his warmth, Arabel couldn’t help but ask where he’d gone so early, leaving her alone in a cold bed.
“Where did you go?”
“To a certain place,” Idan smiled mysteriously. “Didn’t you say that today, after the announcement, you want to arrange a meeting with your sisters and other women?”
Arabel nodded.
“Well, I was thinking, why don’t me and the other guys go out and spend time with the men’s company, so as not to interfere with your female company.”
“So you…”
“Yes, I ran away to arrange a meeting place in advance with one of my new acquaintances, as well as drinks and food,” admitted Idan.
“If you’re interested, I’ll take you there sometime later, because this place is outside the Kingdom.”
Arabel turned to her husband and said with warmth in her voice:
“Of course I want to. I’m very intrigued by you.”
Idan smiled and kissed her on the lips.
“Then it’s settled.”
