Chapter 1174: Is that a problem for you?
Chapter 1174: Is that a problem for you?
“A bar?”
Father and son exchanged glances.
“Why not?” they said at the same time.
As for Ned, he is always ready to keep his older brother company.
Nemo thought for a moment before nodding in the affirmative.
“Fine,” — Idan smiled. “But let’s take a few more people with us.”
“The more people, the more fun it is,” — Richard agreed, while Idan opened the system window and began writing a message.
Soon, their small group of five people increased to ten.
Initially, Idan planned to invite Leo, Liam, and Edgar, but it so happened that Ren and, to Idan’s surprise, Crowey were next to Liam.
Idan looked around at his slightly unusual company.
“Okay, let’s go,” he opened the access portal and, not forgetting to put on the {Ghost Mask}, he stepped inside first.
On the other side of the portal, Idan found himself in a small room. Ned followed him, and then the others.
When everyone was gathered, Idan closed the access portal. Only then did he push open the door leading to the hallway. After walking along it for a while, they found themselves in the noisy hall of the Coldhouse.
Due to the time zone difference in the Eastern Continent, it was currently night, but even so, the Coldhouse was quite crowded.
The appearance of ten unusually dressed people immediately attracted the attention of visitors.
It took Idan a moment to figure out why. Next to him was Ned, who, if not for the {Ghost Mask}, would have been almost an exact replica of himself. Nemo hid his face behind a nameless white mask, Crowe hid behind a Raven Mask, Ren hid under a wide bamboo hat, and Leo looked more like a shy girl than a young man.
Against their background, Liam and Edgar seemed almost ordinary.
And finally, the last two were a very attractive father and son.
“This way,” said the owner of the Coldhouse, already waiting for them.
“How many people did you bring with you?” the bartender asked Idan.
“Ten,” — Idan replied. “I hope it’s not too much?”
“Ten?” The bartender looked at Idan’s group and immediately noticed several familiar faces. His face changed.
“Damn it, the Most Handsome King, you didn’t say that you would bring not only the Heroes of the Federation, but also the Heroes of the Dungeon!” he exclaimed indignantly through the “Soul Force”, recognizing Arslan, Ren, Croweу and Ned.
“Is that a problem for you?” smiled Idan. “If so, we’ll leave.”
“Well, not that…” the bartender replied, scratching his head. He looked around at his visitors and noticed that not only he, but also some of them recognized Arslan and the others.
This did not bode well.
On the one hand, he didn’t want any unnecessary problems, but he also couldn’t just say no for no reason. Besides, the bartender wouldn’t mind establishing good relations with such people.
Moreover, with the conquest of the Dungeon Simulator and the opening of the Nexus, it became known to everyone that the Gate can be used to travel across continents. Therefore, the sudden appearance of uninvited guests can be easily explained.
“As I said before, we’re just here to relax and have a good time,” Idan said.
“Okay, follow me,” the bartender said, coming out from behind the counter. He led Idan’s group and the others to one of the VIP rooms reserved for small companies.
“Please come in,” the bartender respectfully invited, opening the door.
Despite trying to appear calm, he was a little agitated inside. After all, his guests were very famous people. As the owner of the bar, he wanted to leave a good impression of himself.
Inside the room, there was a subdued warm light, dark walls and a large U-shaped sofa designed for 12-15 people. There were three low tables in the center where drinks and snacks could be placed. And there was a bar tablet on each table.
The bartender pointed at them, “Use these tablets to open the menu. Here you will find alcohol, cocktails, snacks, hot dishes, hookah, music, karaoke, access to a local Network and payment options.”
He looked at everyone, trying to remember them all, and asked: “Does everyone have access to a local network?”
Idan answered for everyone: “Yes.”
A large screen hung in front of the sofas, and under it was a long pedestal with acoustics, two wireless microphones, charging ports and decorative lighting.
“Good! Using the tablet, you can turn on clips, broadcasts from a local network, karaoke, or simply turn on atmospheric background sound. There is a quiet climate control system in the corner, and the ceiling lighting changes color depending on the selected mode.”
The guys quickly looked around the room and settled comfortably on the couch, studying the menu on their tablets.
“Tell me, should we be on our guard and prepare for something?” asked Idan before the bartender left them.
“No, relax and enjoy the evening,” the bartender replied confidently. “I’ll take care of any problems, and no one will bother you.”
“Okay,” — Idan nodded. “And I’m sorry again if I caused you any inconvenience.”
“Don’t worry about it,” he said, and before leaving, he added, “If you need anything, call me.”
When the bartender left, Idan joined the others.
“So, dear son-in-law, where are we?” Richard asked, sitting comfortably on the couch next to Arslan.
“At the Eastern Gate of the Dungeon, in the heart of the Eastern Continent.”
Everyone froze and stared at Idan in mute amazement, stunned by his words.
“Well, let’s make an order.” Idan took the empty seat between Nemo and Ned.
“Since I invited you here, I’ll be paying, so don’t hesitate.”
After exchanging glances, everyone decided to make their first orders.
Idan remained true to himself: he ordered a non-alcoholic cocktail and some snacks. Then he handed the tablet to Ned.
And it was at this moment that Nemo turned to him through a mental link.:
“Idan.”
Idan turned to him, but he couldn’t see his face because of the mask.
“Is something wrong, Nemo?”
“No,” Nemo replied, shaking his head. “I just wanted to talk to you.”
“Oh! I’m listening.”
“I plan to return to Junonia and continue my journey,” Nemo shared.
Idan looked at him in surprise, although he assumed that Nemo and Lina would probably return to Junonia soon, just like themselves.
“What about Lina?” he asked.
“She said she would follow me,” Nemo replied.
“Hmm…” thought Idan.
“Okay,” he nodded, seeing no reason to refuse. “But you won’t go alone.”
Nemo cocked his head to the side.
“I think it’s time for our Master to leave Limbo and return to Junonia.”
