Chapter 1182: Another cocoon.

When Idan appeared, many fire beasts had already gathered around Hailey’s cocoon, including the Flaming Cranes led by Cyrion.

“Graaa! Graaa!” the dragon sitting on top of the cocoon growled angrily, as if warning everyone not to approach.

However, instead of scaring, he only caused a smile with his funny appearance.

When he saw Idan, the dragon stopped growling, and his eyes sparkled with joy.

He did not immediately run towards him, but at first hesitated a bit, as if debating whether to go. Finally, he left the cocoon and stood in front of him with his tongue hanging out, demanding praise and reward with all his appearance.

A lot of cracks formed on Hailey’s cocoon, from which liquid lava flowed out. Most importantly, the cocoon itself has noticeably increased in size over the past seven days. This clearly indicated that soon not just a man would appear out of it, but a rather large creature.

“Graaa!” the little dragon exclaimed, seeing that Idan was not paying attention to him. Without thinking twice, he bit his leg.

“You little bastard,” — Idan tapped on the little dragon’s head.

When Idan paid attention to him, the little dragon quickly crawled up his leg, and Idan carefully picked it up in his arms.

“Yes, yes, you did a great job, kid!” Idan finally praised him, and he beamed with joy, starting to beg for a reward with his paws.

“Well, how can I refuse you?” — with a smile, Idan pulled out several candies from the spatial ring and gave them to the dragon, who, without removing the wrapper, began to chew the delicacy with pleasure, enjoying its taste.

Tudum! Tudum!

With every passing minute, a sound resembling a heartbeat came from the cocoon, and each time it got louder. And it attracted more and more viewers.

“It’s a good thing I took her away from the center and other places,” — Idan thought, looking around and making sure that if anything, the destruction would not cause harm, except to the environment.

While Idan, like everyone else, was watching the cocoon with curiosity, the little dragon slipped out of his hands and quickly ran away.

Idan only managed to notice his rapidly retreating butt and actively wagging tail.

It didn’t take long before there was a commotion among the beasts.

“What’s going on out there?” thought Idan, turning in the direction his baby dragon had run off to. When he saw what was happening there, his right eye started twitching.

The baby dragon sat proudly on Azar’s huge dragon head, leaning back on his horns.

Azar calmly accepted the dragon’s impudent behavior, without showing anger or trying to shake it off his head.

However, the other six beasts, especially Kael, who had recently evolved into a Golden Fire Griffin, could not accept such disrespect for their Leader. He looked at the dragon with a threat, as if wanting to show his strength.

“Calm down, Kael,” Azar said, using his Soul Force. “He’s just a pampered cub, plus he has a bloodline that surpasses mine.”

“But, Leader…” Kael wanted to object.

“I don’t feel any humiliation in his actions, it’s just a cub prank.”

After these words, Azar abruptly turned towards the cocoon.

Crackle!

There was a deafening sound like glass breaking. There was silence for a moment, followed by a deafening explosion.

The cocoon didn’t just split, it exploded. A huge cloud of dust, ash and lava rose into the sky. The ground around the cocoon sank, and everyone who watched it was thrown back.

Those with the platinum rank were able to stay on their feet, but the weaker ones suffered minor damage from the shock wave.

Idan looked up and felt the elements of fire, earth, and other elements stirring in the Kingdom.

Lava began to flow out of the cracks in the ground, quickly filling the depressions and forming a small lava lake.

The terrain was rapidly changing.

The temperature rose to incredible heights, and the earth trembled. Numerous cracks appeared on the surface, from which lava gushed out, quickly filling the depressions.

When the dust settled, everyone saw a small but active lava lake in front of them.

“That’s how the Kingdom got its own miniature lava lake,” Idan thought with a slight grin.

Everyone stared in amazement at the lava lake that had suddenly appeared, momentarily forgetting what had caused it. But then a wave ran over the surface of the lava.

“Graa! Graa!” the little dragon exclaimed, joyfully jumping off Azar’s head right into the lava and disappearing into its depths.

Soon after, the dragon popped up in the center of the lava lake. Behind him, an even larger scaly creature began to rise from the depths.

The creature had a dragon’s head with four horns, two massive wings, a powerful body covered with scales, under which active lava was bubbling, and a long, strong tail.

There was no doubt that this was a second, more mature lava dragon.

“Has Hailey finally turned into a dragon after all? Into a Lava Dragon?” thought Idan, and at that moment, he felt the fluctuations of the Platinum rank from the dragon.

“Not only did she become a Lava Dragon, but she also reached the Platinum rank?” he marveled.

“Did she really pass the Ascension Trial, similar to Belle and me?” the thought flashed.

Shaking off the remnants of the lava, the adult dragon, ignoring those around him, spread his wings and let out a deafening roar.

The baby dragon that was sitting on the dragon’s head also couldn’t help but roar back, but his voice was so weak that it was drowned out by the roar of an adult dragon.

The dragon’s loud roar suddenly stopped.

Her eyes, full of rage, fixed on the baby dragon, which, oblivious to everything around, was happily jumping on her head.

This action made the adult dragon’s face even more gloomy.

Idan, overcome with curiosity, turned to his mental connection with the baby dragon through the contract, wanting to understand what his little creature was trying to say.

“Look… little sister… a real dragon roar!”

Idan heard a child’s voice, followed by a squeaky roar.

“If anyone offends, tell me. Big brother… will protect you!”

And then the baby dragon slapped Hailey’s head a couple of times with its paw.

“Little sister, big brother… will teach you… how to be a dragon.”

Idan could barely contain his laughter.

No matter how he looked at Hailey, in her new form she seemed much more dangerous than most of the beasts he had to deal with. And that’s not to mention the fact that she’s turned into a real dragon.
