Chapter 1181: Handing the Symbiote to Ryan.
Chapter 1181: Handing the Symbiote to Ryan.
“What did you do?” asked Milica, bending down and attentively examining the fiery symbiotic creature in Idan’s hands.
“I cleared it of all the old connections and connected it to my Symbiote*,” Idan replied with a smile, rejoicing at his success the first time.
“Cleaned and connected?” — Milica was surprised.
Lucinda and Sierra didn’t hide the symbiotic abilities from her, so she knew well what they were capable of, including the possibility of reproduction. From this knowledge, she understood that her disciple’s symbiote had not yet reached the rank to create its own descendants.
Seeing his master’s interest, Idan did not hide it and told her about everything he had done. The only thing he didn’t mention was the source of the information and techniques he used.
At the end of the conversation, Milica suggested, “You should share this technique with Lucinda and Sierra. When a Symbiote reaches the Diamond Rank, it can break the bond with its parent and become independent. However, it takes time and resources to create descendants. And your technique will allow you to use orphan Symbiotes, allowing them to break the bond with their parents.”
Milica was right. Most of the symbiotes they found were still connected to their parents, and these connections were often dependent and subservient. However, his technique made it possible to break these bonds, freeing the symbiotes and making them independent.
As for the symbiotes that Milena and others had established connections with, they had their own systems. Idan was sure that his method was not the only one. Other Awakened Ones, especially those with a Rare System, can also, if not sever, then at least suppress old connections.
“Are you going to give this to Ryan?” Milica guessed.
“Yes, and along with that, my own understanding of the element of fire, techniques, and even an understanding of Golden Fire,” — Idan nodded.
“I wonder if Ryan realizes that he has such a caring younger brother?” Milica smiled, amazed at Idan’s generosity towards her newly found older brother.
In Junonia, she had rarely seen such a mutual understanding between brothers and sisters. Usually, even within the same family, there is fierce competition for resources and opportunities.
“If he hasn’t realized it yet, he will soon.”
With these words, Idan, using Ash, began to transfer his knowledge into a new, purified symbiote. Ash only held Idan’s knowledge. When they established a connection, System purged Ash itself, and Idan received an empty symbiote that absorbed all of his understanding, becoming completely his own.
System did something different with Arabel. It deliberately did not completely remove the previous knowledge and connection of her symbiote, because it was through them that Arabel gained an understanding of the elements of darkness and the techniques of the Womskinner race.
Later, in the incomplete World of Darkness and Light, this preserved connection allowed her to first deceive Erza, and then finally sever the remnants of her former influence.
“It’s done,” — Idan said, rising to his feet and holding in his hands the symbiote, which inherited from him a complete understanding of the element of fire, techniques and secrets of the Golden Fire.
From rank 1 to rank 4 inclusive.
As for his understanding of other elements and Spirit Form, Ash couldn’t pass it on to another Symbiote.
Firstly, Ash himself was only a Symbiote of the element of fire, just like the new symbiote. Secondly, each person comprehends the Form of the Spirit himself, and it is closely related to his individuality. Ryan will have to reveal his Flame Spirit Form on his own.
Idan turned to Milica, and she understood his intention without words.
“Nemo, Ryan, stop!” her voice rang out across the training ground, and the furious fight abruptly stopped.
Milica’s voice had an undeniable authority. To Nemo, she was a respected Master, and to Ryan, she was a powerful person and his younger brother’s Master.
“Ryan, come here,” — Milica called.
The flames surrounding Ryan quickly died down, and he went from a fighting state to a calm one before appearing in front of Idan and Milica.
Ryan’s attention was immediately attracted by the fire sphere that Idan was holding in his hands. More precisely, the unusual response it elicited. At the same time, when Ryan appeared, the Symbiote’s instincts were awakened.
The symbiote of the element of fire recognized Ryan as the ideal host.
Noticing this, Idan scattered the fire sphere, and the Symbiote swiftly flew towards Ryan.
Before Ryan could raise his guard, he heard Idan’s voice.
“Wait, Ryan!”
It was enough for the symbiote to take advantage of the moment and enter his body.
“Accept it, it’s my little gift to you, besides the bracelet I gave you earlier,” Idan smiled, looking at the shock in Ryan’s eyes.
The symbiote easily established a connection with Ryan and began to share with him the knowledge that was embedded in him.
An avalanche of information immediately flashed through Ryan’s head, and he staggered, barely able to stand from its abundance.
“Sit down, Ryan, and don’t miss this moment, try to digest all the information while it’s fresh,” — Idan urged.
Ryan, who was already dizzy, followed his advice, sat down and, closing his eyes, immediately plunged into a state of enlightenment, as Elira had once done.
Passing on knowledge did not mean that Ryan would instantly become a master.
Idan understood perfectly well that knowledge and experience were two different things. The symbiote could put into Ryan’s mind an understanding of techniques, principles of fire control, and even part of Idan’s views on Golden Fire, but it could not transfer to him years of fighting, instincts, and the habit of using force in mortal danger.
Moreover, Ryan wasn’t Idan.
Even after receiving the same knowledge, different people see different meanings in it. Just as two students can learn completely different lessons from the same book, Ryan will inevitably take it in his own way. He will accept some things completely, change some things, and perhaps reject others.
That’s why Idan didn’t try to create a copy of himself. He only gave Ryan a foundation on which he could build his own path.
After making sure that Ryan was completely immersed in a state of enlightenment, Idan turned to Milica, Nemo, and Lina.
“He’s not going to wake up soon, so maybe we can start my workout?” he suggested.
“My turn,” Lina said, stepping forward.
She and Idan moved away from Ryan and began sparring using the lightning element and swordsmanship.
The night flew by unnoticed.
In the morning, taking advantage of a break, Idan visited Arabel again. He fed her his culinary masterpieces and, after walking with her for a while, returned to the Simulation as soon as she returned to the time room.
All this time, Ryan was under Milica’s supervision, assimilating Idan’s knowledge.
On the same day, towards noon, Idan, through his contract with the baby dragon, received joyful news: Hailey was about to get out of her lava cocoon.
