Chapter 1194: Are you in?
A pleasant conversation ensued between Hailey and Arabel.
She had no specific purpose in this visit. It was just that, remembering Master Idan, she suddenly wanted to see Arabel, too, as if to make sure that she was there, too, and still a part of the world to which Hailey now belonged.
Hailey, with Arabel’s permission, looked at the babies and was amazed that there were two of them. In addition, she was struck by their wrinkled and incompletely formed state.
“Fire and ice?” she felt the elements of the children.
“Yes,” Arabel nodded, smiling as she watched Hailey’s expression change.
“The Children of the Masters…” — Hailey thought.
She focused on the babies again, so fragile and defenseless, with obvious traces of the elements around them. A strong strange feeling arose in her soul.
It wasn’t anxiety or fear, but rather a sense of responsibility.
They were so small. Too small. And if they were the children of the Masters, then their safety could not depend on accidents.
Hailey didn’t stay long.
After making sure that Arabel was okay, and even having the opportunity to see the babies, she left Essora’s house, immersed in her thoughts.
She was no longer a Beast Tamer — she had become a real dragon.
Her Soul Space had transformed into the so-called Dragon’s Lair, but she still didn’t fully understand what that meant.
When she opened her status and quickly checked the “Dragon’s Lair”, her eyes shone.
“This is it,” she thought, suddenly finding a solution.
Hailey turned her head and looked at the little dragon that was following her. He puffed out his chest proudly, as if he already felt like the greatest guardian in the world. But after a moment, he sneezed, released a tiny spark, was startled by it, and fell on his back.
Hailey closed her eyes. No, this big brother was unreliable.
The children of the Masters needed a real protector — a strong dragon who would not be distracted by food, games and his own tail.
She could still handle the fire on her own. If necessary, she will become a shield and claws for the one who inherited the flame.
But the ice…
The name of a place she’d only ever heard of flashed through Hailey’s mind—Ice Caves. If there was any place to find an ice-bound dragon, it was there.
Hailey wasn’t sure if she would be able to find it, or if it really existed.
“Who should I ask about this?” she whispered until she remembered her {Whisper Talisman}.
“If anyone could know the answer, it would be the Master of Masters,” Hailey thought, and began texting Milica, asking the question, “Is there an Ice Dragon in the Ice Caves?”
The answer came quickly, but not in the way Hailey had expected. Instead of the expected “Yes” or “No,” she received an invitation to visit the Simularium.
“Hmm… Well, let’s see.”
Hailey headed for the Simulation, and her “older” brother, without hesitation, followed her.
The Simularium connected to the Nexus was now running multiple simulations simultaneously, and without a special ID, it was almost impossible to find the right one.
Fortunately, Hailey received the simulation ID along with the invitation, so she easily found the required simulation.
Milica, Nemo, and Lina were already waiting for her inside.
“Greetings, Grandmaster,” — Hailey said respectfully, bowing to Milica. Then she nodded to Nemo and Lina.
“Did you really turn into a Lava Dragon?”
Milica still couldn’t believe that the proud Rank 9 Dragons had bestowed their bloodline on a stranger. Her gaze caught the movement and fell on the baby dragon that was following Hailey, and she couldn’t help but smile. “It’s probably his doing.”
“Hehe, I’m shocked myself,” Hailey scratched her head in embarrassment.
Only then did her gaze fall on Ryan.
At first, she thought it was Idan, but upon closer inspection, she realized that she was mistaken.
“And who is this?” she asked, pointing at him.
“Ryan,” — Milica replied. “Idan’s older blood brother.”
“Oh!” — Hailey blinked in surprise.
Milica looked at Hailey carefully and made sure that she was all right.:
“Yes, there are Ice Dragons in the Ice Caves.”
Hailey’s eyes lit up instantly, and she almost turned to leave.
“Tell me, Hailey, why are you suddenly interested in the ice dragon as a lava dragon?” asked Milica.
“To tame it and make it the protector of the children of the Masters,” Hailey admitted without a trace of embarrassment.
This simple desire made Milica laugh. She wanted to say that the children of Idan and Arabel would be surrounded by care and protection anyway. There are so many powerful beings around, ready to help if needed. However, when she saw Hailey’s serious attitude, she held back her laughter.
Milica looked at Nemo.:
“What do you think about that?”
While Nemo was considering his answer, Lina intervened in the conversation.:
“If I’m not mistaken, it’s been three days in Limbo. There are still four days left until the next reset. If we go out right now, we can make it in time.”
She turned to Nemo, and he nodded in agreement with her words.
“Besides, there is still time before Arabel gives birth,” Milica added.
“Just the three of us?” Nemo finally said through a mental link.
“Of course not,” — Milica said, extracting the {Whisper Talisman} and sending several messages.
She soon received a reply and informed:
“They’ll be here soon.”
Hailey, not understanding the essence of their conversation, just bowed her head. She didn’t even realize that her question was the beginning of something more than just the search for the Ice Dragon.
Soon, a group consisting of Lucinda, Irene, Arslan, Milena, and Ned entered the Simularium.
Everyone greeted each other, and those who hadn’t seen Hailey yet were pleasantly surprised by her presence, especially her new look.
“So, why did you call us?” asked Lucinda, looking from Ryan to Milica.
“Nemo wants to try to conquer the Ice Caves,” Milica replied bluntly. “He needs escorts. Are you in?”
Lucinda’s answer was obvious, and a big smile spread across her face.
Irene, Arslan, Milena and Ned exchanged glances and quickly replied:
“We’re in.”
“Conquer the Ice Caves?” Hailey’s eyes lit up with anticipation, and suddenly she remembered something and said, “Hehe, if you don’t mind, I have one candidate who will join us.”
