Chapter 1237: The primary procedure.

Chapter 1237: The primary procedure.

Fifth led Arabel down a white corridor to another circular platform. As soon as they stepped onto it, the platform shone, and they found themselves in another place.

The glow disappeared, and Arabel found herself in the middle of a beautiful garden. Lifting her head, she saw a clear blue sky and a bright celestial body.

Closing her eyes, Arabel took a deep breath of fresh and clean air. At the same moment, a light breeze gently touched her face.

“This way,” Fifth called, giving Arabel time to look around, and headed for the luxurious building located in the center of the garden.

“You will spend the next 24 hours in this place, Ms. Arabel,” the Fifth began as they approached the building.

“Besides you, there are several other special guests here.”

Arabel followed her, nodding, looking out over the garden.

In the distance, she noticed some charming little animals she had never seen before.

“According to the rules, communication is allowed, but we recommend that you do not insist on it if the other party does not want to communicate.”

“I’m not looking to make new acquaintances myself,” Arabel said. “I just want to complete the treatment as soon as possible and return to my husband and children.”

As soon as she thought about her children, her mood immediately soured, and she no longer wanted to explore this magnificent garden.

The white, clean building resembling a temple was quite large. It did not stand out against the background of the garden, but on the contrary, harmoniously blended into its landscape. The building exuded mystery and the presence of the System itself was felt.

When they reached the building, Fifth led Arabel inside.

There was no security or registration desk at the entrance.

Fifth confidently went inside and led her through the corridors to the nearest room.

Although Fifth said that there were other guests in the building, the corridors remained deserted. Apparently, each of them had already gone through the prescribed procedures behind one of the many closed doors.

As soon as they arrived, the door swung open by itself, inviting them in.

“Please,” — said Fifth, letting Arabel go ahead.

There was no one inside the room except for another capsule.

Following her, Fifth said:

“First, we will conduct an initial analysis of your condition before prescribing a set of necessary rehabilitation procedures.”

She walked over to the capsule and deftly manipulated the transparent panel, opening it.

When Fifth opened the capsule, she did not immediately invite Arabel inside. Instead, she handed her a smooth white bracelet that didn’t have any patterns or markings on it.

Arabel recognized the bracelet immediately when she saw it.

“Please change your clothes before the examination,” said Fifth.

Arabel accepted the bracelet without question. Her uniform disappeared, returning to its original form on her wrist, and she activated the bracelet issued by Fifth.

At the same moment, her body was enveloped in a white cloth, which turned into a simple loose dress without seams and ornaments. The material turned out to be surprisingly light and almost did not feel on the skin.

Fifth, after making sure that Arabel had changed her clothes, nodded and pointed to the open capsule.:

“Now, please come inside.”

Slightly surprised by her new outfit, Arabel hesitated and stepped inside the capsule.

The capsule closed, and unknown patterns shone on its transparent wall, which began to scan Arabel’s body.

Less than ten seconds later, she heard the voice of Fifth:

[The primary procedure has been scheduled.]

[Procedure: deep restorative sleep.]

[Duration: until critical exhaustion is completely eliminated.]

“Deep sleep? And how long will it take?” asked Arabel warily.

[Estimated time: seven days.]

“Seven days?! No. I can’t leave the kids for a whole week.”

[Objection rejected. The dream will last seven days, but only seven hours will pass in the outside world. The initial procedure has already been started.]

“Wait, I haven’t agreed yet—”

[Enjoy your stay, Lady Arabel.]

Before Arabel could protest, her vision darkened and she drifted off to sleep.

Arabel’s consciousness returned slowly.

The first thing she felt was an amazing lightness all over her body. The accumulated fatigue disappeared, and with it the constant burning sensation and discomfort in her stomach that she experienced after giving birth and after being affected by her son’s flame. Her muscles no longer ached, and her thoughts, for the first time in a long time, became clear.

Arabel opened her eyes and saw the transparent capsule lid above her. She stared up at the sky for a few moments, remembering the recent events.

Surprisingly, she remembered everything.

The initial procedure, seven days of sleep, her objection, which Fifth did not even listen to…

The capsule slowly lifted, and the lid silently slid aside. Arabel immediately frowned as she got to her feet. This was not the room she had fallen asleep in.

The capsule was located in a spacious private room, prepared especially for her. There was no sterile emptiness of the treatment room: there were upholstered furniture nearby, a garden could be seen behind a transparent wall, and food and a brochure were already waiting for her on a small table.

“It looks like I was transported here with this capsule,” Arabel thought, carefully checking her body once more to make sure that nothing had been done to her while she was sleeping.

“System…” Arabel called out.

[Host. There is no need to worry, safety is controlled by the Supreme Health System and this system. You spent seven days in the capsule, while only seven hours passed outside. You still have seventeen hours to complete the remaining procedures.]

When she got to the table, she looked at the food and found that it was still warm. Feeling hungry, she put aside her fears and, trusting the System’s words, sat down and began to eat. At this time, she picked up the brochure and began to explore the available treatments offered at this place.

Before she could finish eating, the door opened and the familiar Fifth appeared on the threshold. When she saw Arabel, she adjusted her glasses with a smile.

“Welcome back, Lady Arabel,” she said.

Arabel only pouted in response.

As soon as Arabel finished her meal, Fifth suggested that she take a walk before the first procedure, to which Arabel agreed.

They went out into the spacious inner garden. Despite the fact that the garden was inside the building, the clear blue sky stretched overhead. Trees with silvery leaves, unknown to Arabel, grew between the white paths, and a transparent spring gurgled softly in the center of the garden.

Arabel stopped at one of the bridges and admired the view and atmosphere of the garden.

While she was standing in the company of Fifth, two people approached them.

Noticing their approach, Arabel turned around and saw a young man with long black hair. He was accompanied by a man in a white robe who looked like Fifth.

A soft smile shone on the young man’s face.

“We meet again, charming lady.”
