Chapter 1271: About your sword.

Chapter 1271: About your sword.

The artifact that Idan had acquired to find his real parents was no longer needed by him. He has already found his own mother, younger sister, older and younger brothers, as well as his father, whom he thought was dead.

Glancing at the disc with the crystal in his hands, he tossed it to Nemo:

“Use it in your search, you must know how to use it.”

Nemo caught the artifact, looked at it, and then looked up at Idan.

“Okay,” he said, nodding, and decided to first look for the one with whom he was connected by the seal of the bloodline.

He decided not to use the artifact right now and put it away in his magic bag.

“Nemo, before you go in search of your family, I have a request for you,” Idan said, looking around the audience. His gaze stopped on Lovis, who had been listening in silence all this time.

“Since Lovis is here, does he already know about Nemo’s background?” he asked.

“Yes, Father knows,” Lina confirmed, looking at her father.

“What about Limbo and everything related to it?” asked Idan.

Lina shook her head, but the others remained silent.

And then Lovis said: “I know what Limbo is.”

Everyone immediately paid attention to his words, and on everyone’s faces there was confusion and a question: who shared this information?

“I told him that,” a voice said, and Sierra appeared in the room.

“Big sister, you…” Arabel wanted to say something, but Sierra stopped her by raising her hand.

“Don’t look at me like that,” Sierra smiled. “I only told him what Limbo himself is like, and nothing superfluous. Lovis is Lina’s father and Izzy’s grandfather, so sooner or later he’s going to find out anyway. Considering that we all agree that Lina should take over one of the two remaining temples.”

“Instead of keeping him in the dark, I suggest telling him about what his daughter got herself into and getting him on her side. Having an ally, especially one as reputable as the Sword Hero, will be very beneficial for the Kingdom.”

There was silence in the living room. After a minute of silence, Milica broke it.

“Let’s be honest, that’s what it was all about. Sierra’s right, Lovis would have found out sooner or later,” she agreed.

Idan nodded. He saw that not only he, but everyone around him shared her point of view.

So he had nothing to worry about.

“Nemo, about my request,” Idan began, returning to the topic. “How would you like to conquer the Lava Lake?”

“Conquer the Lava Lake? Now?” asked Nemo.

“Yes, before you go looking for your relatives,” Idan added. “It’s just that there is two Lava Dragons there who are eagerly awaiting your arrival.”

Most of the people present, including Nemo, were familiar with these two lava dragons that Idan was talking about. Knowing that the two Overseers of the Lava Lake were waiting for him, Nemo couldn’t refuse.

“Okay, I’ll do it,” Nemo nodded. He didn’t say “I’ll try.” He was determined to take over the third Forbidden Zone.

“Great,” Idan was very pleased with his answer. “Take Elira and the other Flaming Cranes with you, as well as anyone else you see fit.”

Then Idan remembered someone else.

“And yes, take Ryan with you.”

“Ryan? Your older brother?”

“Yes, his. He’s been spending a lot of time in the Simularium lately. It’s time for him to get out of it, and I think the Lava Lake is perfect for that,” Idan said.

“For the Alpha of Fire, the Lava Lake is indeed an ideal place to cultivate,” Milica agreed with him.

Immediately after that, Idan turned his gaze to Lina.

“Lina, one of the two Temples appeared in Valley of Lightning this week.”

Hearing these words, Lina, who was already mentally preparing to join Nemo in another conquest of the Forbidden Zone, opened her eyes wide.

She didn’t have to ask what he wanted from her. No, everyone expected only one thing from her.

Capture the second Temple.

“I…” Lina wanted to say, “I’ll try,” but stopped. “My sword…”

She remembered that she didn’t have her faithful companion— her sword. And without it, Lina felt inferior and doubted whether she would be able to take over the Temple.

Arabel, who had been listening to their conversation in silence, smiled.

“About your sword.”

Lina turned her head sharply.

Arabel raised her hand, and a familiar sheathed weapon appeared in it.

Lina froze for a few moments. She recognized the scabbard immediately — every scratch, every scuff on its surface. And then she felt a familiar presence emanating from the sword.

“This is…”

The sword trembled in Arabel’s hands, as if it also recognized its owner.

“It’s completely restored and slightly altered,” Arabel said, and handed it to Lina.

She took the sword with both hands. As soon as her fingers closed on the hilt, the blade hummed joyfully and then flew out of the scabbard, stunning everyone, especially Lovis.

Everyone froze in amazement as they watched the sword flying around Lina.

They were familiar with the techniques of the flying sword, which allowed the master to control the blade from a distance. But this time, Lina didn’t use any mana or Soul Power. Moreover, she didn’t control the sword at all!

The sword moved by itself.

This could only mean one thing: the sword had formed a full-fledged will, like real Sacred Weapons.

Lina’s eyes were moist with joy.

“You’re back…”

She clutched the scabbard to her chest, completely oblivious to the people around her, mesmerized by her restored sword, which revolved around her. It was only after a while that Lina managed to pull herself together and looked at Arabel.

“Thanks.”

“Don’t rush to thank me,” Arabel said with a slight smile. “We had to spend a lot of SP on its recovery.”

Lina immediately became serious.

“How much? I will refund you the full amount.”

“Really?” asked Arabel doubtfully.

“Yes,” Lina nodded.

“25,000 SP points.”

Lina opened her mouth slightly, but no sound came out.

She knew how valuable SP points were, and she was well aware that she would not be able to repay such a debt quickly.

Arabel held up her index finger.

“Capture the second Temple.”

Lina blinked.

“What?”

“Take over the Temple, and Dan and I will consider your debt fully repaid.”

Lina gripped the scabbard tightly in her hands and said with complete seriousness:

“I’ll do it.”
