Chapter 1272: I know one
Chapter 1272: I know one
Lina hadn’t realized yet how much her sword had changed. She was just glad that it was back, her faithful companion who had been with her for many years.
The rest didn’t matter.
As a result, it was decided to act in two directions: to conquer the Lava Lake and capture the second Temple.
Lovis was not yet aware of all the events. Sierra took it upon herself to tell him everything before Lina went to the Valley of Lightning.
In the end, Milica turned to Idan and Arabel with a question:
“What about you? Are you planning to join Nemo and Lina?”
So far, no one has raised this issue. Idan and Arabel had just become a young family with two newborn children, and no one wanted to interfere in their lives, giving them the opportunity to enjoy a peaceful time.
“No,” Idan and Arabel replied at the same time.
Holding hands, they turned to everyone with a smile.:
“We have other plans. We want to pass our own Ascension Trial and break through to the Platinum Rank.”
“Oh!” exclamations rang out in the living room.
“It’s about time,” Sierra smiled, and everyone agreed with their decision.
Before everyone could disperse, Idan remembered Papa Dragon’s words.
“Before you all leave… do any of you know anything about Blood Dragons? Do they still exist in Junonia and where can they be found?”
As soon as he said the name of this dragon branch, the living room became noticeably quieter.
Sierra frowned slightly. Milica and Eulalia exchanged glances, but said nothing.
“The Blood Dragons have been almost completely exterminated,” Lovis finally said, crossing his arms. “If any of them managed to survive, they are probably hiding and not revealing their true bloodline. In this regard, their ability to manipulate blood helps them.”
“So it won’t be easy to find them,” Idan remarked.
“Yes, it will be very difficult, but not impossible,” Lovis corrected him. “I’ve only heard a few rumors. From time to time, there were stories of dragons possessing strange abilities related to blood and absorbing other people’s power. Most of these stories turned out to be fiction.”
“And the others?”
Lovis thought for a moment.
“All the noteworthy tracks led to Labirelia. But even the Dragons living there couldn’t confirm that they had actually seen a Blood Dragon.”
Idan frowned. The rumors weren’t the most reliable lead, but so far it was the only direction.
“I know one,” Lina’s voice suddenly rang out.
All eyes turned to her.
Lina slowly lowered her raised hand.
“One Bloody Dragoness.”
After saying the last words, she looked at Nemo.
“What does this have to do with Nemo?” thought Idan, until he remembered something.
And he wasn’t alone. Milica also froze. Eulalia narrowed her eyes, and Arabel’s face showed understanding. Sierra looked from Lina to Nemo, and her smile widened.
The mark of the dragon.
It was the mark that dragons usually left for their chosen mates.
“Don’t tell me it’s just a coincidence? Is the Dragoness who left a mark on Nemo a Blood Dragoness?” Idan asked quietly.
Everyone turned to Lina to hear the confirmation, and she nodded with a gloomy expression on her face.
“What do you know about her?” Nemo asked at once.
“Not much, but enough,” Lina replied. “But I’m not going to tell you about it.”
“Why?”
Lina stared at him in silence for a few moments and used a mental link so that her father would not hear.
“Not now, Nemo. I’ll tell you later when you’re ready. You’re definitely not ready right now. I can only say one thing: if you use the artifact and go looking for those who are related to you by blood, one of the threads may well lead you to her.”
Nemo frowned.
The Blood Dragon couldn’t be considered his relative. Then why did the search for a blood relative have to lead him to her?
And then he remembered the words that Idan had once said as a joke: perhaps Nemo already had a third daughter somewhere, by a Dragoness.
At the time, this suggestion only gave him an unpleasant chill. Now, it no longer seemed so ridiculous.
“Dan, why are you so interested in the Blood Dragon?” asked Arabel.
“Hailey needs the Blood Dragon bloodline to stabilize her Dragon Core and merge the different bloodlines without consequences,” Idan explained.
Everyone who heard his words realized that his interest in Blood Dragons was motivated by a desire to help the well-known Hailey. Almost everyone decided that they should also learn more about the Blood Dragons in order to help her.

That was the end of the meeting, and everyone began to disperse.
Idan and Arabel returned to the family home to feed the children and spend some time with them.
While feeding her babies and not looking up, Arabel said:
“I met Esmari.”
“Yes, I know,” Idan replied.
“You know, when I talked to her, my first impression was that she was the same Esma we all knew.”
Arabel looked up.
“It was weird talking to her when Esma was sitting next to her.”
“And what did she want from you?”
“Nothing,” — Arabel shook her head. “She said she wanted to see the little sister that the other one mentioned, and the one who helped her avatar become independent.”
“She didn’t threaten, did she?” asked Idan.
“No, she was calm and friendly, just like Esma.”
Arabel recalled her recent meeting with Esmari. She didn’t feel any hostility or threat from her during the conversation, and it was a little unsettling.
The two of them looked so much alike, and Arabel couldn’t shake the feeling that something was wrong. But she couldn’t figure out what it was. She wanted to make a mistake and believe Esma’s words that Esmari was really safe.
“The two of them, along with Yulaya and Hazel, went to the River Maze to collect water element resources,” Arabel explained why Esmari and Steel did not participate in the meeting.
“Esma confessed that she called Esmari because she herself cannot comprehend the Spirit Form. She’s going to do it with Esmari, and for that they need resources first.”
Idan’s suspicions were confirmed. It was Esma who invited Esmari herself. Since Esma had signed a contract with Arabel, Idan didn’t say anything, leaving the decision entirely to Arabel herself.
All the preparations have been completed.
Before starting the Ascension Trial, Idan and Arabel wanted to complete one more task — to pass the 5th floor of the Tower of Trials.
