Chapter 642: In Limbo
Chapter 642: In Limbo
"Since all the animals are not from Earth, as well as the Doppelgangers, they will be limited in time, we will have no problems finding places to keep them. After that period, if no one can tame the beast, it can be returned to where it came from," Arabel mused.
"Indeed," Sierra agreed.
"Lina and Nemo also have the ability to open an Access Portal and grant temporary access to the Kingdom. Therefore, they can also be asked to help in capturing the animals, especially considering that they are both going to return to Limbo and start exploring the Forbidden Zones," Arabel added.
Arabel, holding two small foxes in her arms, stood up and, having returned to her usual clothes, looked at the fox and the wolf, as well as at their pack.
"I have to go, I’ll visit you again in the future," she said goodbye to them and, together with Sierra, teleported back to the house.
After returning, Arabel took up her duties as a cook, cooking food for everyone along with her students.
All the time after her return, Arabel noticed that her mother and Ivette’s thoughts were preoccupied with something.
She decided to ask them what was bothering them, but she was not destined to do this, since she returned to Limbo — the Reset came.
When Arabel returned to Limbo, all the other residents were already there, discussing further plans.
"Arabel, considering that you and Idan haven’t rescheduled the wedding yet and have firmly decided to hold it in ten days, you can go back and do your own business, and we’ll leave Idan here," Milica said when she saw her student.
"I will personally monitor his recovery," she added.
"Thank you, Master," — Arabel said. "I really have a lot of things to do, but until my teleportation ability recovers, I’ll go with you."
"Okay," — Milica agreed.
Since Milica, as Idan’s Master, took care of him, Lucinda decided to stay at the temple.
Sierra, as Arabel had warned, after visiting the Lava Lake, got ready to go to the Lake of the Dead.
"I want to go with you," Milena said.
"I don’t mind," Sierra replied. "As soon as I get to the Lake, I’ll come back for you, and we’ll explore this area together. Perhaps we can find a suitable beast for you to sign a second contract with."
"Okay, I’ll be waiting," Milena said, trying not to betray her feelings, but the joy on her face could not hide from others.
At this moment, there was a sudden noise that attracted everyone’s attention. Everyone stared in surprise at the mysterious door that opened, and two people appeared out of it — Nemo and Lina, holding hands.
As Arabel had predicted, by becoming her champion, Lina had established a bond similar to the one Arabel had with Idan. Thanks to this connection, she was able to transport herself here with Nemo without any resistance from Limbo.
Once inside the temple, Lina began to look around curiously.
In less than a few seconds, a Nanny puppet appeared through the Access Portal, holding Izzy in her arms.
Lina, distracted from her contemplation, quickly ran up and picked up Izzy in her arms.
When Lucinda saw Izzy, she immediately thought of the other baby.
"By the way, how’s Rizzy?" she asked.
Hearing her words, everyone present turned their attention to Idan, who was lying unconscious. None of them had ever seen Rizzy emerge from his body.
Only Elira, who was nearby, could not understand what was being said. All this time, she was in a state of mild shock, listening to the discussion of these people and learning new details about this world.
As if in response to Lucinda’s words, a small rift appeared above Idan, from which a baby girl emerged. She fell right on top of Idan.
Everyone noticed that Rizzy had grown bigger compared to Izzy, and, most surprisingly, she could already sit on her own.
Ignoring those around her, Izzy stared intently at Idan and, seeing that he was asleep, tried to wake him up by muttering to herself.
"Oh, Rizzy, don’t hit him," Arabel ran up, trying to stop Rizzy, who was pounding Idan with her fists and crying.
Pouting, she pressed herself against Arabel, and suddenly her nose twitched. She quickly caught Arabel’s finger, bit it, and began to drink blood.
Everyone who was familiar with Rizzy smiled looking at this scene.
Elira watched the scene with bulging eyes.
Lina’s eyes narrowed slightly.
"So this is Rizzy?" she thought, already aware of her existence. But soon her gaze softened when she saw that Rizzy, like her avatar’s daughter, was small and quite cute.
For a moment, everyone was distracted from the discussion and watched as Rizzy drank Arabel’s blood. Having satisfied her hunger, Rizzy finally paid attention to those around her. To everyone’s surprise, when she saw Nemo, her eyes lit up, and, muttering incoherently, she reached out to him.
Nemo was amazed that Rizzy hadn’t forgotten about him.
"What are you waiting for, Nemo, come here," Arabel said, addressing him.
But Nemo hesitated. He glanced at Lina to see her reaction, and when he saw her smile, he stepped forward and walked towards Rizzy.
Rizzy held out her little hands to him, and Nemo, who had only one hand, gently and a little clumsily picked her up.
Rizzy, caught in his arms, snuggled up to him and closed her eyes. Unlike Idan and Arabel, she didn’t demand his blood.
"You’re her father after all, Nemo," Arabel said, looking at it with a touch of envy.
"Yes, even though she’s small, she still feels close to you because of your bloodline, which she inherited from you," Geminia added, and everyone nodded in agreement with her words.
Nemo stared at Rizzy in silence. All this time, he didn’t feel as strongly attached to her as he did to Izzy. But now, when he saw how the baby snuggled up to him, something responded in his soul.
He smiled, but because of the mask, no one noticed his smile.
Everyone presents couldn’t help but smile as they looked at Nemo and baby Rizzy, these father and daughter.
Geminia, who was watching them, suddenly turned her head towards one of the rooms, and her eyes shone.
"She’s about to come out," she said aloud, drawing everyone’s attention.
"What?" some of the audience wondered, not immediately realizing the meaning of her words.
"Finally! It’s about time!" exclaimed Arabel, sharing the joy of those who knew who Geminia was talking about.
Geminia looked around the room, stopping at Milica, nodded, and teleported away, taking the pulsating cocoon with her from the room.
"The Senior Eulalia is about to complete her transformation," Arabel said as she watched Geminia disappear.
