Chapter 695: The wedding ceremony
Chapter 695: The wedding ceremony
“Are you ready?” — Richard asked his daughter, gently holding her hands and standing at the entrance to the arch.
Arabel didn’t answer immediately, lost in thought.
“Will he like the way I look?” she asked herself.
“Of course you will,” Pink Arabel replied, and the rest of her sisters in Arabel’s head, one by one, began to agree with Pink’s words.
Since the morning, the other versions of her had been a source of support for Arabel, but at the same time, she couldn’t get used to their voices.
Only one confirmation from her System reassured her: as soon as she was free from the influence of the dark system, these voices would disappear, as all versions of her would become part of herself again, making her whole again.
“Boo-oo-oo! The older sister is so angry that she wants to get rid of us. But what’s wrong with our existence? We, like everyone else, want to live and have the right to live,” complained Pink One, as before, reading Arabel’s own thoughts.
And although Arabel couldn’t hear the voices of her other versions, she knew that they shared Pink One’s thoughts.
“I’m ready,” she said, trying to get rid of the strange thoughts that began to appear in her head.
“Don’t worry, you look just great, just like your mother,” Richard tried to reassure her, but Arabel didn’t like the comparison with her mother. She pouted her lips and looked slightly angrily at her father, who had been falling more and more in love with her mother lately.
Realizing his mistake, Richard scratched his head in embarrassment and, led by Arabel, walked with her through the archway.
As soon as they were inside, they were greeted by the bright warm light of the sunset, accompanied by the melody of the wedding march, which momentarily blinded them.
As their eyes adjusted to the light, Richard and Arabel froze in place, amazed by the beauty of the landscape in front of them.
Others were sympathetic to their reaction, because they had recently experienced something similar themselves and felt the same way as a father and daughter now.
After recovering from the shock, Arabel and Richard turned their attention to the assembled guests and, of course, to the groom himself, who was standing and waiting for them.
Arabel was slightly embarrassed to see Idan staring at her.
She involuntarily raised her hands with a bouquet of beautiful snow-white flowers, trying to hide her right eye, which was still black due to the influence of the Dark System.
However, she stopped in time and, taking a deep breath, bravely lowered her hands, meeting his gaze.
In his eyes, Arabel did not find what she was so afraid of, but only sincere affection and love for her. This gave her confidence, and a big smile shone on her face.
Having gathered her courage, she heard the enthusiastic exclamations of her other versions, who couldn’t stop admiring how cool Idan looked in his costume. Accompanied by her father Richard, and accompanied by a magnificent melody played by snow-white beasts, Arabel began her journey to the altar.
Idan couldn’t take his eyes off Arabel, who was walking towards him in a beautiful snow-white princess-style dress with a full long skirt. With every step along the snow-white path, strewn with leaves of snow-white flowers, real flowers began to bloom, adding even more magic to what was happening.
All eyes were on Arabel and her father, who were approaching the altar with every step.
Idan, without taking his eyes off Arabel, came forward with a smile to meet them.
It was only when they arrived that Idan looked at Richard and nodded to him as a sign of respect. Then he took Arabel’s outstretched hand.
“You look absolutely gorgeous,” Idan said sincerely, looking at Arabel, embarrassing and pleasing her at the same time.
Richard handed his daughter over to Idan, watching them with a smile, stepped aside and took an empty seat next to Anna.
As soon as he sat down, Anna quietly put her hands on his legs. Richard took her hands in response, interlacing his fingers with hers. They both looked at each other for a moment, and then, holding hands, they fixed their gaze on their daughter and future son-in-law.
Idan and Arabel walked hand in hand to the altar where Lucinda was waiting for them.
“Dear guests! Today is a special day…” she began her speech with a solemn and calm intonation.
In a short time, Lucinda managed to study most of the wedding traditions that exist on Earth. In her speeches, she skillfully combined solemn words that were characteristic of both the world of Earth and the world of Junonia, which made the wedding of Idan and Arabel even more unique.
Lucinda finished her speech, giving the floor to Idan and Arabel so they could say their vows to each other.
“Arabel,” — Idan began.
“Standing in front of you, I can’t believe that our rather short but eventful common path has brought us to this moment. I feel like the happiest person in the world right now.
I, Idan Fein, swear to love you, Arabel Morgan, with all my heart.
I promise to respect your dreams and support you in all your endeavors.
I will be your support in difficult moments and share the joy of every day with you.
I will listen to you, understand you, and always look for ways to our common happiness.
You are my best friend, my love, my home.
I choose you today and I will choose you every day of our lives.
I want to go through the whole path with you, which is prepared for us.”
Arabel, hearing the words of Idan’s oath, blushed like a ripe red tomato from embarrassment. At the same time, she was over the moon with happiness, as were her many versions who rejoiced with her.
“Idan,” Arabel said with excitement in her voice.
“Now that our hearts are beating in unison, I want to say that you are everything I have ever dreamed of.
I swear to love you, cherish our happiness and always be there for you.
I promise to support you in your endeavors, to be your faithful companion and friend.
I will share my joys and sorrows with you, be open and honest.
You inspire me, you make me a better person.
You make me feel like myself and the happiest.
I, Arabel Morgan, choose you, Idan Fein, as my husband, and I promise to love you forever.”
Every word of Arabel’s vow was forever etched in Idan’s memory, just as every word of his vow was forever etched into Arabel’s heart.
“These bright words are a real tribute to love and loyalty. And to seal this union, I ask you to exchange rings,” Lucinda said with a solemn intonation.
“Rings!” — Idan exclaimed in his mind, not understanding how to get the rings at this moment.
“Rings!” said Arabel excitedly in unison with her other versions, looking forward to which ring Idan had prepared for her.
And then a small rift opened between them, from which a little fox jumped out with a backpack on her back.
When Coco appeared, she looked admiringly from Idan to Arabel and back again, and then, as if remembering why she had come, she took off her backpack and, under the gaze of everyone present, pulled out a small exquisite box.
Inside of which were two beautiful wedding rings.

A/N: I finally returned home from Shanghai, and now the chapters are back to their previous schedule — 2 chapters per day.
The third volume is nearing its end.
And I know that I took this volume too long, not advancing the plot much, but I think it was necessary to reveal the characters and, of course, to bring to this moment.
With the next volume, I will start to focus more on the plot and promote it so that we can finally begin the couple’s journey in this amazing world.
But finally, I would like to know your opinion about the plot and its pace. Do you like this slow pace, or is everything going too slow?
I would like to express my gratitude to those who give gifts, power stones and golden tickets. Your support allows me to stay motivated and continue working on the book.
