Chapter 737: Lightning Rabbit
Chapter 737: Lightning Rabbit
“Since then, she has been following me constantly and from time to time demands that I share my lightning with her,” Milica said. “As a lightning elemental beast living outside of the Valley of Lightning, she needs to be constantly nourished by lightning in order to maintain her strength.”
With these words, Milica asked everyone to step back a little and, as before, stretched out her hand, creating a sphere of lightning.
Idan, Nemo, Eulalia, and Lina looked at Milica’s skill with admiration.
Just like last time, Idan heard a soft pop and saw a white rabbit that appeared out of nowhere and grabbed a lightning sphere from Milica’s hands with its paws.
This time, Idan was ready and immediately used his {Eye of Identification}.
————————–
**Identification:**
Name: ___
Race: Lightning Rabbit
Rank: Rank 5 (Daimond)
Random information: A rare Lightning Rabbit with a playful and mischievous personality.
————————–
Choose one additional information:
* Stat (Strength);
* Stat (Dexterity);
* Affinity;
* Mood.
————————–
Idan had completely forgotten that their {Eye of Identification} ability had moved from the basic to the advanced level.
“Hmm… if my memory serves me correctly, I can choose one of four random additional information,” he said to himself, looking at the suggested options.
“The first two are clear: there will probably be numerical indicators of the Rabbit’s strength and dexterity. The third is her affinity with the elements. But the fourth one is the Rabbit’s current mood?” thought Idan.
“I choose the fourth one — Mood,” Idan said, and the fifth information about the Rabbit appeared right in front of his eyes.
————————–
**Identification:**
Name: ___
Race: Lightning Rabbit
Rank: Rank 5 (Daimond)
Mood: joyful / hungry.
Random information: A rare Lightning Rabbit with a playful and mischievous personality.
————————–
“Joyful and hungry?” said Idan with a laugh.
Remembering that he could have opened another of the remaining three options, but for System Points, he decided not to do so. He already knew that the Rabbit had an affinity for the rare element of White Lightning. As for the numerical stats of {Strength} and {Dexterity}, he wasn’t very interested in them.
After receiving the sphere, the Rabbit only let everyone see her for a short time, leaving a trail of white spark behind her, and disappeared.
“What a charming rabbit!” exclaimed Eulalia after her disappearance.
Lina’s eyes were also burning, and she nodded slightly, agreeing with Eulalia.
“Do you want to tame this rabbit?” Eulalia asked Idan, remembering their conversation with Milica.
“Yes, I want to try,” Idan nodded.
“I want this rabbit too,” Eulalia blurted out, not hiding her desire.
“Ahahaha,” — Milica laughed, watching Eulalia’s whims. “You don’t need that rabbit, little Eva.”
“You don’t know yet, but your junior was able to gain an affinity with the Lightning Element. If it wasn’t for that, I wouldn’t have given him the chance to sign a contract with this rabbit, because I want to tame her myself,” Milica explained, and Eulalia pouted upon hearing this.
“Okay,” she nodded, giving up on her desire to tame this rabbit as well.
“Idan, have you discovered your affinity for the Lightning element?” asked Nemo in surprise when he came to his senses.
“Yes, I’m lucky,” Idan replied, also noticing how shocked Lina was by the news.
“If my memory serves me correctly, Lina also has an affinity for lightning, doesn’t she?” he clarified.
“That’s right,” — Nemo confirmed, and Lina nodded in agreement with his words.
“In my opinion, you should have gone to the Valley of Lightning, not the Valley of Stones,” Idan expressed his opinion. “Then Lina would have more opportunities to find a suitable beast for her contracts.”
“That’s right,” Nemo agreed. “If think about it that way, then most likely, after we form our Beast Souls, we will go there.”
“You don’t mind that, do you?” said Nemo to Lina.
“Of course not, I’ll be glad to,” Lina replied, slightly embarrassed and blushing.
How could she refuse such an offer? She really wanted to go to the Valley of Lightning.
“Great,” — Idan said with a smile. “If I fail to tame a Rabbit, I will gladly join you on your journey to the Valley of Lightning.”
“Agreed,” Nemo and Lina replied in unison.
After this conversation, Nemo and Lina, after spending some time with Izzy and Rizzy, left them in the care of a Nanny and returned to the Kingdom through the Access Portal to begin forming their Beast Souls.
Eulalia, whose mood had worsened a little, joined them and went to the Kingdom.
Idan stayed with Milica and began to think about how to attract the Rabbit’s attention and tame her.
“I don’t think my limited understanding of the lightning element will be able to interest this Rabbit,” Idan thought as the thought flashed through his mind of trying to feed her the Lightning element sphere.
“Idan, what about the mysterious store? Is there no suitable food for such beasts?” asked Milica, offering Idan a new direction to think about.
“I was already thinking of asking you about this, but then I thought that if I tame a rabbit this way, I would probably have to regularly ask you for food for her. And it didn’t seem like a good idea to me, so I decided to abandon this idea.”
Milica’s words made Idan remember Coco and the little dragon he had given candy to, and how the dragon had bitten his leg, demanding more.
But then, having paid attention to Milica’s concerns, he also began to think about it.
“Indeed, if I tame a Rabbit with sweets or something similar, I will have to feed it regularly, and considering that all this costs System points, which we already have few, it’s not a good idea.”
Although this idea seemed the most promising, Idan, like Milica, decided to abandon it. He and Arabel were already buying candy for Coco on a regular basis, and adding another mouth would significantly increase costs, and he really didn’t want that.
Besides, he was still thinking about the dragon, and if Elira refused, and he managed to tame the dragon, then he would also need to be treated with sweets.
After some thought, Idan came to the conclusion that there is only one way to realize his plan — to learn how to cook these delicious candies on his own.
