Chapter 741: Well, that’s what I’d expect from you
Arabel, who was about to start her dish, stopped and stared at Darkia.
“In other words, as long as I control their bodies, I can also decide which memories to leave to these Hosts and which ones to hide from them.”
“Are you saying that the Host who’s sitting in front of me right now can’t see or hear anything? And that she only finds out about everything that happened while you were controlling her body after you leave her body?” Arabel asked to clarify.
“Yes, that’s right,” Darkia nodded.
“Since you can also control the Host’s memories, does that mean that you can not only completely erase them, but also instill and implant fake memories?” Arabel continued to ask questions.
“What do you think?” Darkia smiled, and Arabel found her smile sinister.
“She’s dangerous”, — Arabel thought, realizing that Idan was right when he said that Darkia was more dangerous than they thought.
“Don’t worry,” Darkia said. “No one knows anything about you except me. All these Hosts that I controlled and appeared in front of you have no idea who you are or what we were talking about.”
“They only know where I’ve been and that I’ve met with someone to discuss something. But they have no idea with whom or what exactly I discussed, and they all know very well that they shouldn’t ask these questions.”
Arabel did not respond to Darkia’s words and, without saying a word, began to taste the ordered dish.
Darkia, noticing that Arabel was silent and began to eat, also took up her portion.
In the noisy hall, where there were many customers, they both began to taste the dishes prepared in this establishment. But after the first bite, both Arabel and Darkia stopped and looked at each other.
One piece was enough for Darkia to put down the utensils and move the dish away.
However, Arabel took another piece and popped it into her mouth to appreciate the taste more closely.
A third piece followed, and with each new piece Arabel tasted the different ingredients that made up the dish.
Meanwhile, Darkia, who was watching her, couldn’t help but grin.
Having tasted enough, Arabel put down the instruments and sighed with disappointment.
“Well, to the next goal?” Darkia asked Arabel.
Arabel raised her head and looked at Darkia.
“Did you notice anything?” she asked.
“What should I have noticed? I don’t like the dish, although it’s a little different from all the tasteless dishes in this world,” Darkia said with a shrug.
“Exactly,” Arabel agreed, confirming her words.
Arabel then released her Soul Force, which engulfed the entire restaurant and began to study it carefully.
The smile on Darkia’s face wavered as she once again felt the Arabel’s Soul Force, which was significantly stronger than the Hosts she controlled.
“As I expected,” Arabel whispered, withdrawing her Soul Force.
“All chefs are ordinary mortals,” she added.
“Did you expect something else?” asked Darkia with a slight grin.
“Heh,” Arabel replied, looking at her with a smile, and said, “Well, that’s what I’d expect from you.”
The smile on Darkia’s face disappeared.
Arabel took out the money from the spatial ring, put it on the table, and got up and left the restaurant in silence.
Darkia did not follow her. She looked at her plate carefully, thinking about Arabel’s words. Then, picking up the utensils, she tasted the food again.
“What’s the big deal?” she said, finding nothing unusual.
Then she noticed the remaining food on Arabel’s plate, tasted it, and said:
“The same thing.”
“What has she discovered that I cannot discover?” she asked herself.
“These dishes are nothing compared to that girl’s dishes.”
“But compared to the dishes of ordinary mortals, they are different…”
Darkia was silent for a moment and finally realized the difference.
“Wait, chefs are mortal after all. How did they manage to cook such a dish?”
After taking another look at both dishes, she finally understood what was the matter.
She got up from her seat and hurried after Arabel.
Arabel, of course, did not wait for her and had long since gone to her next destination.

Soon Arabel reappeared in the sky in another area of the capital and, as in the case of the restaurant, quickly found what she was looking for.
It was another restaurant, but more luxurious than the ones she had already visited.
“I wonder if Leo purposely left two restaurants at the very bottom of the list?” wondered Arabel, planning down.
After changing her appearance again and wearing the {Ghost Mask}, Arabel left the alley and headed towards the restaurant.
Before reaching the entrance, she noticed a lonely little figure in dark sunglasses and shook her head, realizing that Darkia was already waiting for her appearance, having taken over the fourth Host of the System.
This time, she took control of a petite girl whose height matched Esma, Yulaya, and Hazel very well. This girl had two black pigtails and cute clothes.
Arabel even thought for a moment that this was a little girl, and not an adult girl who had turned 18 years old for a long time.
“There you are”, — Darkia exclaimed, recognizing Arabel again, despite her new disguise, and waved her small hands.
Arabel came closer, looked down at Darkia, and without saying a word, entered the restaurant.
Just like last time, Arabel found an empty seat and ordered food. This time she was joined by Darkia, who also decided to order something for herself.
“Ingredients,” Darkia said as soon as the waitress left after receiving their orders.
“It’s all about the ingredients,” she repeated.
“So you noticed it?” — Arabel asked in surprise, looking up from studying the menu.
“Yes, it’s all about the ingredients,” she confirmed, and a wide smile spread across Darkia’s face. She was very pleased to hear Arabel confirm her guess.
“While I was waiting for you, I thought: if ordinary people who do not understand the preparation of “new world dishes” can cook such dishes from these ingredients, then their quality must be incredible, right?” asked Darkia.
“Indeed,” Arabel agreed with her reasoning.
“If so, what dishes can that girl cook if she is given these ingredients?” Darkia asked.
“I do not know what will happen in the end, but I am sure that the quality and taste of the dish will be an order of magnitude better than what she is currently cooking with ordinary ingredients,” Arabel expressed her opinion.
Hearing her answer, Darkia felt her saliva start to flow at the thought that there might be dishes that tasted better than the ones she had tasted before.
