Chapter 752: That little bastard

Chapter 752: That little bastard

The entire Forbidden zone, the entire Lava Lake trembled, and the source of this commotion was the core of the central region.

"How can he treat my boy like this?!" growled a female-voiced creature whose huge head emerged from the lava. The creature had sharp horns of various sizes that looked like an elegant crown.

Her vertical-pupiled eyes narrowed, and rage burned in them.

It was only the anger and displeasure of this creature that made the entire Lava Lake tremble.

Meanwhile, two pairs of similar eyes, but much larger, opened in the lava next to her and looked at her.

"Well, she's at it again," he thought and closed his eyes, leaving all these matters to his wife to solve.

As the Supervisor of this Zone, he shouldn't have gotten involved in such small matters.

The Master and the disciple exchanged glances, their eyes wide with amazement and disbelief. At that moment, they both felt the gaze of a powerful being that seemed to be hostile towards them.

"Give the candy to the little dragon, Idan," — Miliсa asked, quickly realizing the source of all the problems when she saw the dragon begin to whimper and cry.

Idan himself began to guess that it was the crying of the little dragon that caused everything to happen, and Miliсa's words only confirmed his guess. He pulled out the candy he had just put away.

"Hey, look here," he called to the little dragon, whose eyes were clouded with tears.

Whimper. Whimper.

Hearing Idan's words, the little dragon blinked several times to get rid of the tears. When he saw the candy reappear in Idan's hands, his eyes lit up, and he quickly rushed towards him, opening his mouth full of many small sharp teeth, as if he was going to bite off Idan's hand along with the candy.

Idan deftly threw the candy right into the little dragon's mouth, removing his hand in time to avoid being bitten.

"That little bastard," he cursed inwardly, watching as the little dragon snapped its mouth shut as soon as the candy was in its mouth.

"Hmm... hmm..." the little dragon began to chew the candy along with the wrapper, and the more he ate, the more his eyes lit up from the sweet, familiar and so desirable taste that he longed to feel again.

With the happy mood of the little dragon, the shaking of the lava lake began to subside and soon stopped completely.

Idan turned to Miliсa and, a little embarrassed, smiled. She shook her head.

When she got closer, she looked at the dragon carefully.

"It looks like this little dragon is a descendant of the Supervisor of this zone," Miliсa said. "And that he is always under the supervision of his parent."

"So does he look like Kitty?" asked Idan, whose desire to tame the baby dragon was growing stronger, but at the same time, anxiety was growing inside him.

"You could say that," Miliсa nodded.

"Graa… Graaa," having finished with the candy, the little dragon began insistently demanding another one.

Idan took a step back, trying to stay away from the little dragon, fearing that it would attack him again and start biting.

"Do you want more?" asked Idan, and the little dragon nodded immediately.

"Okay, I'll give you another one, but first fulfill my little request," Idan offered, and this time the little dragon did not cry.

When little dragon heard that he could get more sweets, he nodded again, agreeing with his suggestion.

"I'm looking for my friend with red hair..." Idan began, describing Elira in her human form, and then in the form of a flaming crane.

The little dragon first turned its head, listening attentively to his words, blinking its eyes, and then, remembering the creature that Idan described, its eyes lit up.

"Graa! Graa!" — the little dragon let out a roar.

After that, he turned around and began to swim deep into the lava lake.

After swimming for a while, he returned and let out a growl again.

"He seems to want us to follow him," Miliсa suggested.

"That's great," Idan said, and he and Miliсa followed the dragon.

In order not to swim in lava all the time, Idan decided to follow the example of his Master. He used his Soul Force to find a foothold on the surface and began to walk on the lava.

The little dragon moved with amazing speed, and soon Miliсa and Idan were forced to break into a run to keep up with him.

"Did you notice that?" Miliсa asked Idan after they had been following the little dragon for a while.

Idan shook his head negatively, not understanding exactly what Miliсa meant.

"I have already been to this Forbidden Zone in an attempt to conquer it. Like the Forest of Doppelgangers, the Lava Lake is home to many different creatures besides Lava Dragons. When I first entered the lake, I was immediately attacked by its inhabitants," Miliсa shared.

"But then we entered quite deep into the lake, but we didn't encounter any other creatures, let alone someone attacking us."

"Do you think it's because of the little dragon's presence?"

"That's probably it," Miliсa nodded. "As a descendant of the Supervisor, he has a special status, and perhaps all the creatures of the Lava Lake know about it and avoid him so as not to fall out of favor with his parents," Miliсa suggested.

And she was right. All the inhabitants of the Lava Lake knew this little dragon well and tried to stay away from him.

"We have already reached the border of the outer and middle layers," Miliсa told Idan. He nodded as he felt the energy density of the fire element around them increase, and the color of the lava became more red.

Soon, following the little dragon, they found themselves at a deep pit located in the middle of a lava lake. The pit resembled the mouth of a volcano or a crater, whose edges slightly rose above the surface of the lake, creating a barrier for lava and not allowing it to penetrate inside.

Approaching the edge of the giant crater, Idan and Miliсa found a huge space dotted with many fire crystals of different sizes. They noticed a lot of creatures among them, most of which looked like dragons.

Sensing their presence, the creatures raised their dragon-like heads and stared at them with their multi-colored eyes with vertical pupils.

"What the hell?" exclaimed Idan, looking indignantly in a certain direction. "We've traveled so much distance in search of her, and she's just enjoying the company of male dragons?"

Miliсa followed Idan's gaze and saw the picture that appeared before her eyes: many different dragons grouped around an elegant Flaming crane, which lazily rested on the surface of the fire crystals, absorbing the abundant energy of the fire element.
