Chapter 751: The hidden danger of acquiring a "Spirit Form" so early.
Part of the coast was completely destroyed by the hot lava.
Milica, with undisguised joy, went down and, using her Soul Forces, found a foothold above the surface of the lava without touching it.
She began to look for Idan and soon noticed how he emerged from the lava, quite far from her, and screamed.
"Damn little scoundrel! Don't eat me! I'm not your food!" shouted Idan, trying to unhook the little dragon from himself, who clung to him with a death grip. Biting off a piece of his shoulder, the dragon chewed it with great relish.
If Idan wasn't in his Spirit Form, he would be covered in blood right now.
Even in Spirit Form, Idan still felt pain. The feeling of being devoured alive was completely different from the wounds he received during the battles.
During the battle, Idan himself entered a special state that helped him numb the pain. But at the moment, he couldn't reach that state, and he could clearly feel the dragon taking a bite out of him.
"Cancel your Spirit Form, Idan!" Milica shouted at him, and after a bit of hesitation, Idan followed her advice. He reversed the transformation, returning to human form with his shoulder bitten off, which immediately began to bleed profusely.
"Aaaaargh... damn!" shouted Idan, feeling a sharp pain.
Meanwhile, the dragon's eyes returned to normal. He looked at Idan with a puzzled expression and even sniffed at him.
Seeing Idan's suffering, the dragon released its grip and jumped away, diving into the lava.
Moving to the side, only a part of his head with eyes emerged from the lava. He watched Idan, who began to recover under the influence of the element of fire, but his face was writhing from unbearable pain, which did not go away.
"Aaah...Fuuh..." Idan panted as the pain began to subside and most of his shoulder was recovered.
"How are you?" asked Milica, coming up to him.
"Being eaten alive is terrible," Idan replied, looking around for the culprit. He saw a protruding part of the head with small horns and two eyes with vertical pupils that stared at him intently.
"Did you like it? Was it delicious?" asked Idan.
The little dragon, remembering the taste of the flame he had just eaten, nodded, confirming that he really liked it.
The corners of Idan's lips twitched, he didn't expect the dragon to answer so honestly.
"I'm sorry, Idan," Milica suddenly said, as if apologizing. "I completely forgot to warn you and Belle to be careful when assuming your Spirit Form in front of powerful beings matching your element. In your Spirit Form, you represent the pure Power of the Elements, and for such creatures you will seem to be a very valuable and useful resource for their cultivation."
"For weak creatures of the fire element, your Flame Spirit Form will cause fear, awe, and even worship, and for powerful creatures you will become valuable prey," concluded Milica.
"There are already few beings in Junonia who have been able to acquire their Spirit Forms, and most of them are powerful beings of the Highest Realm, capable of not only standing up for themselves, but also having many connections and allies."
"It can be said that I, being of Epic rank, was able to regain my Spirit Form, which is already great news compared to Sierra, who is of rank 8."
"What about the two of you? About those who took on the Spirit Form, being only of the Golden rank?"
After staying in Limbo for so long, where her abilities were limited only to the Diamond Rank level, Milica had almost forgotten about the possible danger her two younger disciples were in by acquiring their "Spirit Form" so early.
"For most Creatures of Fire and Ice of the Higher Realm, you are a valuable resource, and if they find out about you, they will definitely hunt you two down."
Milica's warning about the possible danger did not come as a surprise to Idan. He himself had long suspected that there might be some pitfalls or threats hidden in his and Arabel's Spirit Form.
Idan still remembered the information that a Spirit race was being hunted in Junonia, and his and Arabel's Spirit Form slightly resembled that race.
So he wondered:
"Can other creatures prey on those with Spirit Form?"
And now Milica's words confirmed his fears.
"It's good that you remembered this before Belle and I became active in Junonia," Idan said, showing no fear in his voice.
Having said that, Idan turned his gaze back to the baby dragon, who was staring at him with her sweet eyes.
Milica felt a little disappointed in herself. Being their Master, she forgot to mention such an important detail. The same could be said about Sierra and the others, who were so caught up in the amazing abilities of these two that they forgot that they were both only Golden ranked.
Following Idan's gaze, Milica also noticed the little dragon. She noticed that the dragon's eyes no longer had that crazy gleam.
"It seems that your assumption is correct, and this little dragon really has a connection with the supervisor of this Forbidden Zone," Milica suggested.
"Despite his Platinum rank, he is not afraid of you and your Flame Spirit Form, even though you also have a Platinum rank in your Spirit Form."
"This may also explain why the other creatures of fires living in this place did not dare to attack you in your previous two visits," Milica added.
"Probably, the Supervisor of this place himself did not allow other creatures to approach you."
"Besides, don't forget that there was someone by your side every time."
"On your first visit, Lucinda was with you, and she could easily protect you, and on the second, I was."
"And according to Geminia, the Superiors themselves can't directly attack those who enter the Forbidden Zone, much less those who are only at the edge of the outer layer."
"The same can be said about Belle, who was in the Ice Caves, where during her visit, the Supervisor personally visited her and Sierra and perhaps prevented other creatures of Ices from interfering with her."
Idan, remembering those events, nodded his head in the affirmative. He remembered his duel with Elira, when, upon seeing his Spirit Form, she, being a Creature of Fire, felt that she could not win, and immediately decided to run away instead of fighting.
As for the Flaming Lion, Idan didn't even use his Spirit Form to defeat it. And besides these two, apart from the little dragon, Idan never met any other Creatures of Fire.
"Thank you, master, for this valuable information," — Idan thanked Milisa and, having spent 85 System points, bought a package of 10 candies. He pulled out one of them and showed it to the baby dragon.
"Do you still remember what this is?" asked Idan with a smile, holding a piece of candy in his hands. The dragon's eyes shone at the sight of the sweetness, and he quickly nodded and began to swim closer to pick up the candy.
"Not so fast," — Idan put the candy away. "I'll give it to you if you do my little request."
Seeing that the candy was gone, ignoring Idan's other words, the dragon froze. Under the gazes of Idan and Milica, tears began to appear in his eyes, and with that, the entire Lava Lake trembled.
