Chapter 821: Are you worried about her?

"Thank you very much," — Iona said, bowing her head in front of Idan in gratitude. She had finally met the man she had dreamed of meeting for so long, but she had not been able to do so until this moment.

In his true form, he was too handsome for her. And Arabel, his wife, was standing next to him, which made Iona even more confused.

They were standing next to the portals now, and Iona was about to return to the Capital.

"Did you get any benefits this time?" Arabel asked Iona with a sweet smile.

"I... yes, I got it," Iona nodded, and then, openly, shared her joy.: "I have gained an affinity with the element of Light."

"Oh!" exclaimed Idan and Arabel, pleasantly surprised, and exchanged glances with each other.

"Ice and Light, huh?" said Arabel, finding it funny. After all, she herself had "Ice and Darkness," which was the exact opposite of what Iona had.

Iona nodded. "I believe that my place is there, and that I can be useful to you by being there."

"Especially now that I have gained an affinity with the element of Light," she added.

"Okay," — Idan nodded, not insisting. He understood that having his own person in the Association would be useful.

And looking at Iona, Idan remembered the two artifacts he had received from Irina as compensation: the Shield of Light and the Wings of Light. These items were still gathering dust in the vault, and Idan did not sell them to the System.

"Then take them with you," Idan said, pulling out both artifacts and handing them to Iona. "I'm sure they'll be useful in your hands, instead of just lying around gathering dust."

"Oh..." — Arabel looked at the artifacts in surprise. After reading their description and learning that to use these items you need to have an affinity with the element of Light, she agreed with Idan that they would be especially useful to Iona.

"Take them," Idan said, holding out his hands and handing the artifacts to Iona.

"This is… This is..." she didn't know what to say. These two artifacts were something incredible to her. And after reading the description, which said that to use them you need an affinity with the element of Light, she realized that they would be very useful to her.

She really wanted them, and as she realized with a slight delay, they had just been given to her.

"Thank you very much," — Iona said, lowering her head again.

"You're welcome," Idan replied. "You've already become our subordinate, so if you need anything else, don't hesitate to contact us."

"As for Irina, you can tell her in general terms about what you saw, without hiding anything," Idan added.

"What?" asked Iona. "Aren't you afraid that the information will leak out?"

"Well, it's more for your own safety," Idan replied. "I am sure that this time the phenomenon had a greater impact on the beings of Light than the phenomenon of darkness. They will do everything possible to find out the reason, and Irina, being a being of Light, is unlikely to be an exception."

Iona thought for a moment and nodded, agreeing with his arguments. Then she remembered how little she knew about the Kingdom itself, and realized that even if someone read her memories, it was unlikely they would be able to learn much information about the Kingdom.

"Is my wife jealous?"

"Of course," — Arabel said honestly. "How can I not be jealous when you gave away two Diamond-grade artifacts without hesitation?"

"And I'm sure if you keep this up, Iona will fall in love with you," Arabel continued. "She already likes you because of her gratitude."

"Come here," Idan pulled Arabel to him and hugged her. "Okay, I promise to be careful when dealing with Iona and the other beautiful girls. I'll keep my distance so as not to create any misunderstandings, okay?"

"I'm not demanding that you stop talking to other girls altogether, because it's unavoidable anyway. But it would be great if you didn't give anyone any wrong hints," Arabel said with a slight smile.

"I'll try," Idan promised. "And you can be sure that you're the only one I have. I won't look at another girl the same way I look at you."

"Hehe hehe," — Arabel laughed, hugging Idan tighter. And in a slightly crazier tone, she added: "You just have to do this for your own safety."

Idan just laughed, feeling a long-forgotten feeling of insane possessiveness awaken in his wife.
