Chapter 918: Free Valkyrie
Chapter 918: Free Valkyrie
Sierra and Lucinda were quite surprised when they saw Lina.
And there were reasons for that.
Lina didn't look like the Lightning Valkyrie they knew. But that wasn't the only thing that struck them. The energy fluctuations coming from Lina were completely different from their sisters.
"Big sisters," — Lina said, greeting them, which only increased their surprise.
Nemo and the others who were aware of what was happening watched the unfolding scene with pleasure.
"What happened to you?" asked Arabel, not hiding her curiosity.
"How did you manage to get your wings back?" the two older Valkyries said at the same time, asking the question that bothered them the most.
"Well... I went through a 'Rebirth,'" Lina confessed, deciding to open up to these two Valkyries.
Even though she accepted her origin, Lina continued to feel hatred towards the Celestial Continent.
She stopped hating all the Valkyries. Now, her hatred was only directed at those who belong to the Celestial Continent and actively support its policies.
Sierra and Lucinda, although they were connected to the Celestial Continent and the Valkyrie Bloodline Domain, were warm to Arabel and the other Valkyries from other worlds who were not part of this domain.
"I wonder how they would react if they returned to Junonia?" thought Lina for a moment, looking at the shock in the eyes of Sierra and Lucinda from her confession.
"But haven't you been through a 'Rebirth' before?" Lucinda couldn't help but ask.
"Yes, earlier, when I turned 16, I had already experienced a 'Rebirth,'" Lina replied. "So I experienced a second 'Rebirth.'"
"What?!" — Lucinda exclaimed, unable to believe what she was hearing.
Sierra, on the other hand, became much more serious, replacing surprise with concentration.
Now, after seeing Sierra and Lucinda's reaction, everyone who was watching realized that Lina had encountered something truly incredible.
"Huh?" — Eulalia was surprised when she noticed how Sierra, Lucinda, Lina and Arabel suddenly disappeared, leaving them alone.
Lina's disappearance disturbed Nemo for a moment, but when he remembered where they were and who Sierra, Lucinda, and Arabel were, he regained his composure.
Nemo was sure that none of them would harm Lina. As for the reason for their departure, Nemo assumed that it might be related to some secret of the Valkyrie race.
He was convinced that if he ever needed to know about it, Lina or someone else would definitely share this information with him in the future.
"I'm going back to the Temple," Nemo informed the others through a mental link and headed for the portal leading there.
It had been three days since he hadn't seen either Izzy or Rizzy. He really missed these two adorable babies.
"I'm with you," Eulalia said and followed him.
She couldn't wait to meet Milica and discuss the trials of the Valley of Stones with her. Eulalia was particularly interested in whether Milica had tried to pass this trial and at what stage she had failed.
Alois, Liam and Aliya watched them go, and then decided to stop by the restaurant to find out what had happened during their absence.
On the way to the restaurant, Aliya suddenly stopped and, sighing with slight disappointment, said:
"I'm sorry, I have some urgent business."
Before she could finish her sentence, she disappeared into thin air, leaving the student and the master alone.
Aliya was teleported inside a huge structure filled with many refugees. As soon as she appeared, she released the power of the element of Light, calming and taking control of the growing anxiety that arose from Lucinda's sudden disappearance.
"Eh," — Aliya sighed with disappointment. "And I really wanted to try Sofia's fresh cooking."
"I hope Master will reward me later," she reassured herself, taking over Lucinda's duties while she was busy talking.

"So, first of all, introduce yourself properly, little sister," Sierra said to Lina as soon as they were away from the center of the Kingdom, in a quiet, secluded place.
Lina's light armor began to disintegrate into purple particles that gathered behind her back, forming four shining wings.
"Sword intent," Sierra remarked, looking at the sharp feathers of Lina's wings.
With the appearance of wings on her back, the silver rings in Lina's eyes became brighter and seemed to revolve around her purple iris.
"Let me introduce myself, sisters," Lina said with confidence.
"Lina Eterius - The Thunderblade Valkyrie."
Sierra and Lucinda were no longer in doubt. Lina had indeed gone through a "rebirth" and was no longer a Lightning Valkyrie.
At that moment, the two older Valkyries turned their gazes to Arabel.
"What?" — Arabel asked, noticing their suspicious gazes.
"I didn't give her anything," she quickly retorted, realizing that the sisters were beginning to suspect that she had given Lina a bloodline change potion.
And their suspicions were not unfounded. After all, she had already created three Valkyries with the help of these potions.
"Hmm... Eterius? Not Thunderblade?" asked Lucinda, turning back to Lina.
These words reminded Arabel, who was watching in silence, that valkyries usually adopt a surname based on the name of their species.
"I no longer consider myself a part of the Celestial Continent," Lina stated firmly.
"I've severed all ties with the Valkyrie Bloodline Domain."
"And therefore, I see no reason to follow the instructions of the Celestial Continent," she added.
"Now I am a Free Valkyrie, without any shackles, and I choose my own fate," she concluded.
Lina's confession had a different effect on all three of them.
Arabel was smiling.
She was glad that Lina had now become one of them, a Valkyrie unrelated to the Valkyrie Bloodline Domain.
Taking into account Milena, Yulaya, Hazel and Esma, there were six of them.
Lucinda frowned, lost in conflicting thoughts, looking at Lina. According to the rules of the Celestial Continent, Lina had violated many prohibitions and could be considered a heretic of the race.
As for Sierra, she looked at Lina with admiration and undisguised sympathy.
In her eyes, Lina had gained what many Valkyries of her level secretly desired — freedom and liberation from the shackles that oppressed them.
