Chapter 919: The living room of the Family home.
At the temple, Izzy and Rizzy immediately noticed Nemo. Their eyes shone with joy, and they reached out to him, muttering something unintelligible.
Eulalia, who had followed Nemo out, followed him to see how the kids were doing.
There was a calm and beautiful Nanny puppet sitting next to their beds.
She greeted Nemo with respect and did not interfere with his communication with the girls.
Despite the fact that the Nanny was a puppet, Nemo respectfully bowed to her, expressing gratitude for the care she gave Izzy and Rizzy.
After playing with the kids for a while, Eulalia went in search of her master.
"Master, there you are!" she exclaimed, finding Milica outside the Temple, in the workshop that the Doppelgangers had managed to build during her three-day absence.
"Oh, Eulalia, you're back," Milica greeted her happily, interrupting the discussion with Hector and the other dwarves. Leaving them deep in thought, she left the workshop.
"It's been three whole days," said Milica. "I've been waiting for you to come back on vacation to find out how far you've come, but I haven't."
"Ah, I'm sorry, Master," Eulalia quickly apologized, lowering her head.
"There's no need to apologize," Milica shook her head. "Raise your head."
"As I understand it, you haven't been able to conquer the Temple yet. So what happened?" she asked. "Why didn't you go back to rest?"
"And this... something happened," — Eulalia began, but noticed that Miliсa was distracted by something. Following her gaze, she saw Lina, Lucinda, and Sierra appear from the portal.
Of course, Lina, who had changed a lot, attracted Miliсa's attention.
"I see it now," she nodded.
"Let's go, it seems that something is happening," Miliсa called to Eulalia and entered the Temple.
"Oh, pointy-eared," Sierra greeted Miliсa. "For some reason, you haven't been seen in the Kingdom for a long time."
"I've been busy practicing alchemy and advising the dwarves in their attempts to create spatial artifacts," Miliсa replied. "If my disciples needed my help, they know where to find me, and that I am always ready to lend a helping hand."
"What brings you to the Temple?" asked Miliсa.
Ever since Sierra and Lucinda became Guardians, they had no time limits on staying in the Kingdom, unlike her. Therefore, they spent all their free time there in the Kingdom.
"You'll see for yourself soon," Sierra replied cryptically.
"Hmm..." — Miliсa nodded and finally turned her attention to Lina, who by that time was already holding Izzy in her arms.
Under the elf's gaze, Lina felt awkward and slightly confused.
Miliсa was not only a seventh-rank being with an affinity for the Lightning element, like herself, but she was also a Nemo master. The master of the man she liked.
"I see you took advantage of the trial of the Valley of Stones to sort yourself out and accept your origin and bloodline, didn't you, Lina?" Miliсa asked with a smile.
"Yes, I did it," Lina nodded, glancing at Nemo, who did not escape the attention of others.
Everyone realized that her feelings for Nemo also played a role in all of this. This was especially felt by Sierra and Lucinda, who exchanged meaningful glances.
Suddenly, a portal opened, which attracted everyone's attention, and Arabel came out of it.
"Master," the first thing she greeted was Miliсa, whom she had not seen for more than three days.
"Belle," Miliсa greeted her disciple with unfailing warmth.
After greeting Arabel, under the close attention of others, she went to the mysterious door in the temple and chose an empty place next to it.
Opening the System window of the "unique function" {Heart Bonds}, she selected {Family Home -> Living Room}.
[Are you sure you want to install a "Door" in this place?]
"Yes," Arabel confirmed, and a rift opened in the place where she pointed. An elegant wooden entrance door appeared from the rift.
Everyone looked at the door with surprise and curiosity, wondering where it led to. Arabel nodded with a satisfied smile.
Arabel went to the door and, without any key, simply turned the handle and opened it.
"Come in, don't be shy," she called to everyone, turning to them, and was the first to step inside.
Arabel was looking forward to seeing what the living room of their family home looked like.
After it was unlocked, neither she nor Idan had time to inspect it, as they were busy dealing with the Disaster.
When Arabel finally entered the living room, she saw a spacious and elegant room with high white ceilings. A massive crystal chandelier with hundreds of facets floated in the center of the room, gently diffusing the warm golden light.
The panoramic windows offered an amazing view of the endless starry garden. The time here corresponded to earth time, and now the garden was flooded with bright sunlight.
The floor was covered with ancient oak parquet, which softly shimmered with every step, as if radiating a magical glow.
There was a polished black obsidian fireplace in the center of the living room.
The furniture in the room epitomized the luxury of the modern world: two wide sofas made of soft leather with satin cushions, located opposite each other, in the center of which was a low coffee table made of transparent quartz.
Empty bookshelves lined the walls.
There was an antique gramophone in the corner of the room, as if inviting everyone to immerse themselves in the world of music.
At the first glance at all these pieces of furniture and interior, Arabel's mind was filled with information about their unique properties and how to use them.
The chandelier on the ceiling automatically adjusted to the mood of those in the living room.
The fire of the black fireplace flared up only by one mental call and danced to the beat of the emotions of those present.
The sofas fit the body perfectly, adapting individually to each person, allowing them to completely relax.
As for the coffee table, it was possible to materialize any drinks and snacks from the available list with just an effort of thought.
And that wasn't all that the living room of their family home provided.
"Incredible," — Arabel said with undisguised joy, looking around.
The others followed her into the living room one by one. Even Geminia managed to appear and blend in with the crowd.
Arabel was pleased to give her first guests the opportunity to explore her and Idan's unique family home.
