Esma remembered that the girl had not answered her first question.

The girl’s eyes widened in surprise.

A wide smile spread across Esma’s face. It was so easy for her to play with this girl.

The beasts and creatures from other worlds froze in amazement, watching as one of the branches of the water tree began to move and, rustling with the movement of water, headed towards Esma.

“What is it? Who is it? You can’t see, I’m busy,” Esma waved away the branch without even turning to her, which scared everyone around her.

The branch of the Tree that she pushed away didn’t know what to do.

And only then did Esma realize that something was wrong, and she froze in place.

Slowly turning around, she saw a branch of a water tree waiting for her modestly.

The water branch, swaying slightly, approached Esma, and two objects appeared on its tip. One of them resembled a cloudy drop of water, while the other resembled a sphere.

Both items were small in size and fit perfectly in her palm.

“Eh? Is this for me?”

Esma, blinking in surprise, held out her hands.

As soon as her palms touched the two objects, the branch released them with a light thud.

“Seeds of the law of water and wind!”

Esma couldn’t be mistaken. She could clearly feel the vibrations of the not yet fully formed rudiment of the water law in the drop-shaped object. Water flowed inside it, forming spirals, and blue radiance flashed from time to time.

As for the sphere, there was a barely perceptible vortex spinning inside it, which seemed like it could dissolve at any moment.

“But… it seems they haven’t fully matured yet.”

Esma came to this conclusion after carefully examining both seeds.

“Eh? Is that not all?”

Esma was both surprised and delighted when she saw the water branch swaying in front of her, as if trying to say something.

“Should I put them away?” she asked.

In response, the branch swung up and down, as if confirming her guess.

“Oh. Okay,” Esma said, and carefully put the two items into her magic bag.

Immediately after that, the branch approached Esme again, and she waited with undisguised excitement for what would happen next. However, nothing appeared at the tip of the branch.

Instead, the entire branch shone with blue light, which began to slowly contract to its tip. In front of everyone’s eyes, a rather large round sphere appeared in front of Esma, inside of which magically rose like living blue water.

Esma was fascinated by the living water enclosed in the sphere.

It didn’t look like a law, but it was something else and very valuable.

“The source?” A thought flashed through Esma’s mind, and then it hit her. “Ah, so that’s it! This is something that will be very useful for Little Sister’s Kingdom!”

Although Esma felt this way, she also realized that it would be beneficial for her. If she can unleash her Spirit Form and establish a connection with the Kingdom, as Sierra and Lucinda did, she will have her own source of water elemental energy to help maintain this Water Spirit Form.

For Esma, this gift of the Tree was much more important than the unripe seeds of the law. She could have created her own law without them, but finding a permanent source of water element was not so easy.

Taking the sphere in her hands in awe, Esma watched with admiration as the branch of the tree broke up into drops and fell down like rain.

Looking at the glowing sphere, Esma couldn’t help but smile. She has achieved everything she came here for.

In her hands were two unripe seeds of the law and, most importantly, the source of the element of water, which she assumed could be integrated with the Kingdom.

That’s all Esma wanted.

She glanced towards the tree, ignoring the greedy gazes of the beasts and creatures from other worlds, who looked at the sphere with envy.

And then the tree shuddered, attracting everyone’s attention.

The first thought that everyone present had was the assumption that the seeds of the law had finally matured or were about to ripen. However, after taking a closer look at the tree, they realized that they were mistaken.

“If the seeds haven’t matured yet, then what’s going on?” everyone wondered as they watched the tree continue to shake.

Of all the creatures gathered here, only one of them, the one who held the sphere in her hands, felt the intentions of the tree, which it sought to convey to her.

“Ha ha ha,” — Esma laughed. “It was clear from the very beginning that these gifts could not be free.”

“So you need help?”

“Protect you? No… to protect the seeds of the law?” suggested Esma.

The tree shuddered, confirming her guess.
