Chapter 924 - Sapphire (02)
Chapter 924 - Sapphire (02)
Sapphire had a much more complicated relationship with the Immortal Heaven.
She was the illegitimate daughter of the emperor of the most powerful nation on the Western Continent.
Her father had despised her for her entire life. She had struggled to earn his acceptance, fighting for it until the day all that struggle finally broke her heart.
Well, for her, that hardly mattered now.
She just wanted Qingyi to bring her mother back.
Her mother had suffered enough. She deserved to be happy, to see her daughter happy, and to have some beautiful, happy granddaughters, just like Lingxi.
Sapphire loved her mother, but as for her father, dead or alive, she could only ever see him as a worm.
She was happy by Qingyi's side, though she was still curious about what had happened to the rest of the continent.
Hundreds of millions of people had died, including many experts.
The organized faith of Auranys had practically collapsed, and she wouldn't be surprised if the Empire descended into civil war.
Fortunately, the Five-Colored Chamber of Commerce, which belonged to Meilin's father, was still active.
The Chamber had immense wealth, and the Jin family had risen to near-absolute power in the Empire of the Illuminated Sky on the Eastern Continent.
Between the two, they would likely be able to stabilize the Empire on the Western Continent.
Sapphire let out a soft sigh and snuggled a little closer against Qingyi's chest, her back settling into his warmth.
His large hands had been there for quite some time, cupped beneath the heavy underboob of her huge tits, their weight shifting in his palms with every breath she took. Every now and then, his fingers would sink into that warm, milk-filled softness and give it a slow squeeze.
"Have you ever stopped to think about how many have died at your feet?" Sapphire asked suddenly, her gaze lost somewhere far away.
"Yes..." Qingyi nodded. "A few years ago... but I stopped counting, and I stopped caring. A thousand deaths—innocent or guilty—are worth no more to me than a fraction of a fraction of Lingxi's laughter."
"Hm…" Sapphire merely gave a slight nod.
She wasn't surprised by the answer.
They lived in a cruel world.
Qingyi, in particular, had started from even lower than she had, and it wouldn't be wrong to say he had climbed a mountain of bodies to get where he was now.
And she knew he would still have to climb over many more corpses. Some guilty, some innocent.
Perhaps one day, her husband would make the entire Celestial Heaven bleed to death.
Perhaps one day, her husband would be the very one to keep the Celestial Heaven from bleeding to death.
Finally, Sapphire turned in Qingyi's arms, her voluptuous body sliding slowly against his.
Meanwhile, Qingyi's hands slid down the smooth curve of her slender waist, moving unhurriedly toward that luscious ass.
He plunged his hands beneath her thin, tiny skirt and grabbed her two large, porcelain-pale buttocks.
His fingers sank into that cool softness until they nearly disappeared, her plump flesh bulging out and spilling between them as he squeezed. The hem of her skirt rode up with the motion, bunching at his wrists and leaving the lower curves of her ass bare.
Sapphire let out a muffled little moan, her hips arching back almost instinctively, pushing even more of that soft, heavy flesh into his grip.
Then she rose onto her tiptoes to reach Qingyi's mouth, her full breasts dragging up along his chest and squashing even closer against him, and sealed his lips with hers.
Her small, delicate hands slid up and wrapped around her husband's neck, her fingernails scratching ever so slowly at his nape.
When the kiss ended, she pulled away just enough to speak, her lips still brushing against his.
"Before the war, come visit us—me, Margareth, and Seraphine—in our magical laboratory… we have so many amazing things to show you." She paused, and a mischievous gleam flashed in her eyes. "But not today. Today, it's Margareth's turn and mine to serve as a milk supply for Lingxi. That little thing is way too ravenous, fufufu~~."
Sapphire gave a soft chuckle, her small shoulders shaking against him and her heavy breasts quivering faintly where they were pressed to his chest.
"She's quite demanding, but luckily, our hubby taught all of us to offer only the best."
She said it with a sensual smile, gave Qingyi's chest a light pat, and pulled away from him.
Her buttocks gave a light bounce as they popped free of his grip, the pale flesh springing back into shape as her skirt fluttered down over them.
Then she returned to the bedroom without so much as a glance back.
Qingyi sighed, his eyes glued to the jelly wobble of that ass as she walked away, each step sending a ripple through her cheeks beneath the thin skirt.
Shaking his head, he left the World of the Mind.
It was time to see some friends and truly start preparing for that war.
Qingyi strode through the corridors of the Golden Palace and launched himself into the air, flying toward a private arena a few hundred kilometers away.
The cold wind of the heights whipped against his face, and the buildings below blurred past.
When the pavilion housing the arena began to appear on the horizon, Qingyi slowed down.
The arena sat in a region set aside for the residences of low- and mid-ranking elders.
This one was relatively large and belonged to Elder Ling, a cultivator at the peak of the Cosmic Emperor Realm and someone Qingyi held in high regard.
Although the arena belonged to Elder Ling, the ones who actually trained there were Xiaohu, the elder's adopted son, and Bai Hu Lie.
Bai Hu Lie's meteoric rise had shocked the entire Outer Alliance. And now, ready to advance to the Star Sovereign Realm, he was very close to shocking the Inner Alliance as well.
Qingyi gave a gentle smile as his eyes settled on the arena.
Cherry trees surrounded the entire gigantic white marble platform. Pink petals fluttered through the air, torn from the branches by the shockwaves rolling out from the center.
There, two figures were fighting.
One of those figures was Xiaohu, and he looked quite different.
He seemed taller, and although he was still overweight, his girth had shrunk considerably. But that wasn't all.
Powerful muscle was emerging beneath that fat, and Bai Hu Lie's countless punches had hardened his bones one by one.
The other figure was Bai Hu Lie.
Standing nearly three meters tall and weighing seven hundred kilograms, every bit of it pure muscle, the humanoid tiger was a terrifying opponent, even though his cultivation realm was lower than Xiaohu's.
His powerful fists, covered in pure white fur, tore through the air with terrifying explosions. Each punch made the marble tremble beneath their feet, and each crash echoed throughout the pavilion, shaking another flurry of petals loose from the branches.
Xiaohu defended himself relentlessly, his arms rising and falling at a frantic pace to block every blow.
Sweat flew from his face with each impact, and his feet skidded back across the marble, forcing him to scramble and reset his stance before the next punch came.
His forearms were already red and swollen from parrying those punches, every block landing with a meaty thud as a dull, numbing shock traveled up his bones and into his shoulders.

'Now he looks like a real man,' Qingyi thought.
Of course, that thought lasted only as long as it took Xiaohu to spot him landing at the edge of the platform.
"Big Brother Qingyi, come on, save me from this Lunatic Tiger!" Xiaohu shouted, abandoning his guard and throwing himself toward Qingyi, his face streaked with tears.
Behind him, Bai Hu Lie's fist stopped in mid-swing, and the tiger let out a low, rumbling snort.
Qingyi could only laugh. He shook his head and, with a casual kick, sent Xiaohu tumbling right back toward Bai Hu Lie.
"You'll get used to it eventually—don't worry."
