The Epic Tale of Chaos vs Order

Chapter 1808: Rampage

Chapter 1808: Rampage

“THUUUUUMMMMMMPPPPPPP!”

A heartbeat thundered through the sky, reverberating with such overwhelming power and relentless speed that it seemed eternal, echoing like the ominous drums of a primordial deity. To the Prima Deities, it was akin to the call of a supreme being—but this was not the heralding of a divine protector; it was the war drum of a god of destruction.

“ZNNNNN!”

The sound of space itself fracturing filled their ears. Before the legion of Prima Deities could even react, Cain vanished from their sight, only to instantly reappear directly before them. His figure, shrouded in crimson flames and dark lightning, emitted an aura of absolute dread.

Without a shred of mercy, the Neo-Demon swung his massive black sword, Sky Devourer, at one of the leading Prima Deities. The blade moved at such unimaginable speed, carrying the entire momentum of his charge along with the full, destructive might surging through his veins, that it rendered all resistance meaningless.

The victim didn’t have time to scream, plead, or even register fear. As the sword’s edge made contact with him, his entire existence disintegrated—body and soul erased from reality itself. There was no explosion, no sound at first; only absolute annihilation.

An instant later, in the far distance, a cataclysmic explosion rang out. The Divine Kingdom tied to that Prima Deity had just self-destructed, confirming to everyone present that Cain had permanently extinguished the True Name of his target. Horror—raw, unfiltered horror—seized the hearts of the gathered Prima Deities.

This was impossible.

The power Cain had demonstrated was beyond the comprehension of the Prima Deity realm—surpassing even those who had attained the Half-Step ArchDeity state. The destructive potential displayed by the Neo-Demon was nothing short of the might wielded by ArchDeities themselves!

A cold, sinister smile stretched across Cain’s face as he reveled in his newfound strength. By combining the might of his Absolute Destruction True Doomsday Body, the devastating force of his Primeval Genesis Body’s Second Level, and the Small Success mastery of the World Breaker Sword Technique—all amplified further by the explosive surge of his Neo-Demon Asura Form—he had achieved a level of destructive capability that placed him among the supreme powerhouses of the Crimson World.

Feeling unstoppable, Cain immediately pressed his advantage. Without pausing even a second, he unleashed another attack.

“First Stance: Shardbreak Horizon!”

His thunderous roar was followed by an expansive sweep of Sky Devourer, releasing a devastating wave of dark-red energy in all directions. The immense destructive power cascaded outward like a tsunami, engulfing the ranks of stunned Prima Deities in an instant.

“BOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOMMMMMMMMMM!”

A cataclysmic blast shattered the sky, and while the force of this widespread attack wasn’t enough to instantly annihilate even the weak Prima Deities, it effectively obliterated their formation. Chaos erupted as the army fractured into disarray, forced into desperate individual defenses.

One unfortunate Middle Prima Deity had just begun to emerge from the residual destruction when he found Cain towering before him, sword already descending. He barely managed a gasp before Sky Devourer slammed down, obliterating his body down to its atomic level. Another distant explosion rang out, signaling that yet another Divine Kingdom had met its end alongside its ruler.

The remaining Prima Deities felt their hearts freeze in absolute terror. Cain moved so swiftly they couldn’t follow his movements. By the time they spotted him, it was already too late for his target.

A stunningly beautiful Prima Deity woman, capable of melting even the hardest hearts with her mere presence, was next. Her beauty meant nothing to Cain, whose sword cleaved through her without hesitation. Both halves of her body disintegrated into dust, her soul vanishing moments later along with her True Name.

Another explosion resounded far away—another Kingdom gone, another god extinguished.

Over forty Prima Deities remained, yet they stood frozen, trembling as if paralyzed by fear. To them, Cain was an unstoppable nightmare, an invincible calamity whose every swing meant death and destruction.

Just when it seemed their morale would collapse entirely, a firm voice echoed across the battlefield.

“Seven Star Falling Sky!”

A spear, bathed in resplendent rainbow energy, descended upon Cain with immense power. It was none other than the Star Man, whose eyes burst with willpower and killing intent. Unlike all the others, the power of Cain did not shatter his will.

Cain’s eyes narrowed dangerously as he saw the energy spear falling toward him. Without hesitation, he swung Sky Devourer to meet the incoming threat. Sword met spear in a brutal clash of titanic forces—but it was brief. The spear shattered instantly under the immense destructive energy emanating from Cain’s weapon. However, despite the apparent ease of his victory, Cain’s body trembled slightly from the backlash.

His immense strength came at a price. “Sixth Gear” drastically elevated his speed and destructive capability, but the strain it placed on his body was severe. Scarlet flames surged through his veins, mitigating much of the damage, yet the stress had accumulated enough to cause internal ruptures. Blood leaked from the corner of his mouth, revealing his body’s hidden toll.

Confusion flickered through the ranks of Prima Deities as they saw Cain—seemingly invincible moments before—now visibly injured.

Seeing this crucial opening, the Star Man’s voice rang out again with desperate urgency.

“NOW! ATTACK!”

His constellation-marked forehead erupted with celestial energy once more, renewing the spear’s brilliance. His call rallied the other Prima Deities, transforming their fear into collective killing intent. Dozens of powerful attacks—each potent enough to annihilate continents—surged toward Cain simultaneously, turning the battlefield into a deadly storm.

Cain snorted coldly, unwilling to back down even when wounded. He forced his trembling body into action, channeling every ounce of destructive energy back into Sky Devourer. Taking a deep breath, his voice resonated powerfully through the oncoming tempest:

“Fourth Stance: Abyssal Wall!”

With precise movements, Cain swung his sword in a circular slash, forming a barrier of dark-red energy infused with absolute destructive essence. Just as the countless catastrophic spells fell upon him, the protective wall surged outward.
