The Epic Tale of Chaos vs Order

Chapter 1850: Deal with Divine Sea

Chapter 1850: Deal with Divine Sea

"BOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOMMMMMMMMMMMM."

An explosion shook the earth and the sky—raw, unfiltered devastation erupting across the continent. The blood-red ocean, once surging with divine pressure, had been condensed into a beam of pure energy, fired like a stellar cannon from Cain’s outstretched fingers.

The force annihilated everything in its path.

Mountains crumbled. A vast range was reduced to rubble, shattered as though it had never existed. Cracks spread across the land like a spiderweb, entire forests that stood for thousands of years incinerated in the blink of an eye.

All across the battlefield, Prima Deities stood frozen, wide-eyed and silent. The scale of destruction they had just witnessed was far beyond their comprehension. That single attack could have annihilated their stronghold and wiped out several of them without warning.

There was no doubt anymore.

Cain Laurifer—despite technically being at the Prima Deity Rank—possessed the might of an ArchDeity. One at the very bottom of the rank, but an ArchDeity nonetheless.

Hovering midair, a faint smile touched Cain’s lips as he slowly lowered his hand. His fingers were still extended, hovering beside Divine Sea’s cheek—mere centimeters from her face. The very air sizzled around them.

The ArchDeity’s expression was sharp. Her eyes locked onto Cain’s. She had seen it clearly: the blast hadn’t missed her by accident. Cain had intentionally aimed just a hair to the side.

A message.

A warning.

Cain withdrew his hand and floated back a few meters, a confident grin playing across his face.

"Now," he said casually, "we can talk."

Divine Sea’s fists clenched, a flicker of fury flashing in her eyes. But her centuries of divine discipline quickly reined in her emotions. She took a slow breath.

It was clear now. Cain wasn’t trying to kill her. He was making a point.

He was declaring that their discussion would be held between equals—not as a Prima Deity begging for favor, but as two forces standing on the same level.

And so, she nodded.

Cain smiled in return. The glint in his eyes turned focused, sharp as a blade.𝐟𝕣𝗲𝕖𝕨𝗲𝐛𝗻𝗼𝐯𝗲𝚕.𝗰𝚘𝐦

"I assume you’re aware of my battle with Divine Calamity’s Omega Avatar."

He didn’t lower his voice.

Gasps rippled across the surviving Prima Deities below. Whispers broke out among them. Confusion was rampant.

Why would Divine Calamity, of all beings, attack one of his own greatest assets in the war?

Divine Sea, however, simply nodded. She had sensed the anomaly years ago—a battle of epic scale fought in the heart of the Endlessdeath Continent. And through her divine perception, she had glimpsed the echoes of that battle: Cain versus the Omega Avatar of Divine Calamity.𝒇𝙧𝙚𝓮𝔀𝓮𝒃𝙣𝓸𝒗𝒆𝒍.𝙘𝒐𝒎

She hadn’t known why it happened.

But she had seen the intent: Divine Calamity had truly meant to kill Cain.

"Perfect," Cain said. "Then let’s get to the point."

His eyes flared with a mix of fury and purpose, his voice dropping just enough to make the next words echo through the battlefield like a prophecy.

"How much will you pay me... to end this war?"

Stunned silence fell.

Even the wind seemed to pause.

The Prima Deities below stared at each other, disbelief etched into their faces. End the war? The very idea seemed absurd—unthinkable. Once it began, an Omega War was not something one could simply stop. It had become part of the world’s natural order.

But Cain didn’t speak like a dreamer. He spoke like a man offering a deal.

Divine Sea narrowed her eyes.

"Divine Calamity wants to kill you," she said coolly. "And you want him dead. Why would I pay you for something you’re already determined to do?"

Cain chuckled, meeting her gaze.

"True, there’s animosity between us," he admitted. "But I can wait. I can disappear. I could engage in guerrilla tactics, harass his supply lines, steal his resources beyond the Endlessdeath Continent... while he wastes his energy in a war with you."

Then his voice dropped, cold and quiet.

"Or I could turn toward your domains."

That threat hit harder than any divine spell.

Divine Sea’s aura flared, a murderously cold light flashing in her eyes. Power exploded from her body like a second sun, warping the sky and shaking the heavens.

Cain didn’t move.

"I’m fast," he continued calmly. "Your domain over space isn’t enough to trap me. My body’s resilience means you won’t kill me before I vanish."

His confidence was not arrogance. It was fact.

Divine Sea’s fury boiled—but again, her reason prevailed. She inhaled deeply, her aura withdrawing as her soul calmed.

"What exactly do you propose... and what do you want in return?" she asked, her voice cool but willing.

Cain’s smile turned more natural—almost friendly.

"Divine Calamity started this war over the Well of Endless Stars."

The instant those words left his lips, Divine Sea’s killing intent surged once more. The Well of Endless Stars was not just a treasure—it was the foundation of her cultivation. If Cain sought to take it from her, there would be no negotiation. Only war.

But Cain showed no fear. He’d expected that reaction.

"I don’t want the Well itself," he clarified. "Only a foundation’s worth. A fragment. With the Well at its peak, there should be more than enough to spare without impairing your advancement."

Divine Sea’s wrath slowly ebbed. A foundation-level portion would still be significant—but not crippling.

She considered it, her eyes never leaving his.

"And in return?" she asked.

Cain’s smile faded. His eyes turned cold, sharp with determination.

"In return, I will erase the presence of Divine Calamity Heaven from the Endlessdeath Continent."

The air turned still again.

"I will destroy their fortresses, shatter their formations, and kill everyone who refuses to retreat."

His next words rang like a death sentence.

"And if Divine Calamity himself shows up—I will face him too. I make no promises... but even if I fail to defeat him, I’ll exhaust him. I’ll leave him weak enough for you to strike and finish him yourself."

The weight of his words sank into the atmosphere.

Cain Laurifer wasn’t offering a treaty.

He was offering annihilation.
