The Epic Tale of Chaos vs Order

Chapter 1849: Cain vs Divine Sea

Chapter 1849: Cain vs Divine Sea

It was small—gentle, even.

But the moment it landed on Cain’s chest, it felt like a thousand suns exploding at once. The palm strike didn’t just hit; it tore through the air and struck with so much concentrated force that it could have easily obliterated a Peak Prima Deity.

Instinctively, Cain’s bloodline space-time matrix manifested across his skin, redirecting the brunt of the impact into the surrounding space.

"CRACK!"

Massive fractures tore through the sky and the land, extending for hundreds of kilometers. But even with most of the force deflected, Cain was still sent careening into the ground, crashing with enough power to sculpt an enormous canyon into the earth.

The tremor that followed shattered mountains and split the air with an echo like the cry of a dying star.

Above, Aurelius, Amelia, and the remaining Prima Deities turned their gaze to the sky, awe and fear blooming in their eyes.

She had arrived.

A woman hovered high above, radiating such divine majesty that the heavens themselves seemed to still. Clad in flowing robes of deep starlight and blood-hued silk, her every movement exuded unshakable power and absolute authority. This was the true sovereign of Divine Sea Heaven—Divine Sea.

Her gaze swept across the Prima Deities below, giving a faint nod as if everything was now under control.

But deep within, her heart stirred.

She clenched her palm, remembering how it had felt to strike Cain. Her attack had been a snake strike, delivered from concealment, sudden and sharp. She hadn’t had time to gather her full power. Yet even so, it carried the strength of her Inner Universe and the weight of her divine Laws. It should have crippled anyone beneath her tier.

And yet...

From the depths of the crater, Cain rose.

There was a searing mark at the center of his chest, blood trickling from the corner of his mouth—but otherwise, he was intact. Already, his body was beginning to heal.

Divine Sea narrowed her eyes. Her grip tightened. "He endured it... and he’s regenerating faster than my senses can track. What is he made of?"

Cain ascended into the sky until he hovered directly across from her, golden light still burning behind his eyes.

"You finally show up."

His voice was calm, almost casual. But there was weight behind the words—a restrained storm waiting to be unleashed.

After encountering beings like Tiamat and the Lord of the Void and killing the Star Man, Cain no longer bowed before titles. Even facing an ArchDeity, his spine remained straight, his gaze unwavering.

"I thought I’d have to kill a few of your precious deities to lure you out."

Divine Sea stared at him, inhaled slowly.

Under normal circumstances, she would have erased a Prima Deity for such arrogance. But this was no ordinary deity. She could sense it—Cain had the strength to back his words. He had held back earlier. She had to know why.

"What do you—"

"Seventh Gear."

Before she could finish, Cain’s voice rang out, and the sky shuddered in response.

A heartbeat later, a tornado of World Strength erupted around him, flooding into his Primordial body. Then, he vanished.

Divine Sea barely had time to react.

Cain appeared before her in an instant, his fist already raised.

Her eyes widened. She flung her hand forward, summoning a crimson tide of blood energy, forming a protective barrier between them—an ancient defense technique, powerful enough to stop most transcendental beings.

But Cain didn’t hesitate.

His fist struck the barrier—and shattered it instantly.

His eyes were cold, deadly focused. As a True Primordial, every aspect of his being had evolved, including his ability to perceive flaws in reality. He now saw the world draped in red lines, like threads unraveling—cracks waiting to be broken. Divine Sea’s defense, elegant as it was, revealed just enough of a fault for Cain to pierce it.

He lunged forward, his fist aimed directly at her face.

But then—space collapsed around Divine Sea. She vanished just before the blow landed, swallowed by the laws of dimensional retreat.

Cain’s brows furrowed.

Before he could fully process her disappearance, he felt a sudden, revolving stream of energy slam into his side with blinding speed. He couldn’t react in time.

The impact sent shockwaves through his body, causing his blood to churn violently. Dozens of blood vessels ruptured at once, spraying crimson inside his body like bursting pipes.

He staggered but endured.

A gravitational field rippled from his Inner World, stabilizing the chaotic energy and sealing the ruptures. He then froze himself, using his own internal energy to stop further internal bleeding.

His Pseudo-Immortal Body quickly initiated regeneration. The damage repaired itself within seconds—but a solemn expression crept onto Cain’s face.

"She’s stronger than the Star ArchDeity...Even my Peak Prima Deity Neo-Demon body would struggle to face her directly."

But hesitation did not follow. Instead, Cain accelerated, shooting forward like a streak of light, determined to reengage.

Another torrent of blood surged toward him—more massive than before.

Cain responded instantly, forming concussive spears of gravitational energy. He launched them into the torrent, using their overwhelming density to carve a path forward. His indestructible body pushed through the raging tides, each impact sending sonic ripples through space.

Divine Sea narrowed her eyes.

Cain was closing in—fast. He had neutralized her tidal spell and forced the fight into close quarters.𝕗𝐫𝚎𝗲𝘄𝐞𝕓𝐧𝕠𝘃𝕖𝐥.𝐜𝚘𝚖

She lifted her arms.

Suddenly, an ocean of blood manifested behind her, eclipsing the sun and plunging the battlefield into crimson darkness. The continent trembled as it surged toward Cain, a divine tsunami carrying the weight to consume a world.

It was too much for even him to take head-on.

But just as the ocean closed in, Cain’s eyes flared brighter than ever before, golden light bursting from his soul.

He raised his left hand.

Two fingers extended—index and middle—and as they touched the approaching tide...

It vanished.

Not exploded. Not deflected.

Vanished.

Divine Sea froze.

One of her strongest spell—erased with a touch.

She was stunned, truly stunned, for the first time in millennia.

Cain gave a small, dangerous smile.

He raised his right hand and pointed his right and middle fingers at her face.

"BOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOMMMMMMMMMMMM."
