Chapter 1880: Plans for Aether’s World Will
Chapter 1880: Plans for Aether’s World Will
Although the path ahead was undoubtedly complicated, a confident smile appeared on Cain’s face as he felt the incredible strength of the Star Power emanating from his body. This power already rivaled that of a Late-Stage Prima Deity wielding a Rank 10 Astral Supremacy Star, demonstrating just how formidable the Entropic Supernova Star truly was.
With a final glance toward the planet’s core, Cain confirmed once more that Anark’s growth was progressing flawlessly. Satisfied, he departed from the Gu World, stepping back into the endless void. Navigating effortlessly, Cain soon reached a hidden dimension whose layers of spatial concealment protected his homeworld, Aether.
As Cain analyzed the complex array of spatial barriers that hid Aether from external threats, he couldn’t help but release a small sigh. Though these barriers were sufficient to conceal the world from ordinary Prima Deities, any ArchDeity who paid even minimal attention would easily notice something amiss. Yet, despite this, Cain no longer felt concern. With absolute confidence, he stepped through the layers and entered the world.
Immediately upon entering Aether, Cain felt his connection with the World King Avatar surge to life. Previously, this bond had filled him with a sense of immense power, granting him direct access to the full might of Aether’s world energy. This time, however, the sensation was different. Rather than feeling empowered by the world, Cain realized with quiet amusement that his energy was now the stronger force, actively flowing outward, enriching and strengthening the world itself.
Moments later, an elderly figure appeared beside Cain, bearing a gentle and amicable expression. Ao, the physical manifestation of Aether’s World Will, gazed upon Cain with awe and admiration, clearly sensing the unprecedented level of strength radiating from him. Smiling warmly, Ao gave Cain a respectful, deep bow.
"I welcome you home, World King," Ao greeted sincerely. "Your growth never ceases to amaze me. It appears I am no longer able to meaningfully assist you, as you have transcended even the energy pool of this entire world."
Cain merely smiled and gestured kindly for Ao to rise. Then, a thoughtful gleam appeared in Cain’s eyes as he addressed the elderly World Will.
"I have several questions concerning the nature and limits of a World Will’s power. I hope you can clarify these matters for me," Cain said calmly.
Ao studied Cain for a brief moment before nodding resolutely. "I am at your service, World King."
"What would happen," Cain began carefully, "if another consciousness were to awaken within one of the continents of Aether? Would you assimilate it, or attempt to destroy it?"
Ao’s brow furrowed slightly, as the idea of another independent will arising on Aether clearly troubled him. Yet, he answered honestly. "As long as that new will does not actively invade the World Consciousness Realm, I cannot do anything against it. My existence is bound by strict cosmic Laws. These Laws certainly forbid me from directly attacking another sentient continent."
A slight smile grew across Cain’s face upon hearing this, accompanied by a scheming light glinting within his eyes. "Are you certain you cannot attack it directly—or perhaps indirectly empower someone else to do so?"
Curiosity sparked within Ao’s eyes, but he continued his explanation without hesitation. "Unless that entity is recognized as alien or hostile by the universal Laws, I cannot take action against it. The only being I am permitted to empower directly is the World King himself."
Cain’s smile widened considerably, the plan in his mind solidifying further with each word Ao spoke. "And there truly is no way for a World Will to accelerate or shortcut the birth of a new World King? Even when facing catastrophic threats?"
Ao shook his head firmly, speaking with absolute certainty. "If rebelling against the fundamental laws of the universe were within my capabilities, I would have done precisely that during Dark Sky’s invasion. After all, had they succeeded, my very existence would have ended."
With that definitive confirmation, Cain clenched his fist, and a ferocious yet chilling smile appeared on his face as he nodded gratefully to Ao. "Thank you for the information."
Without wasting another moment, Cain allowed the Primarch of Conquest Leviathan to emerge directly from his Soul Dimension. Immediately, Leviathan surged into the realm that housed Aether’s world consciousness, unleashing its powerful aura and flooding the space with intense cosmic energies.
Ao’s eyes widened in astonishment as waves of unprecedented power and vitality surged through every aspect of his existence, permeating his very core.
"Focus entirely on your growth," Cain instructed firmly, his voice steady and commanding. "You will need all the strength you can gain very soon."
Ao’s mind was pulled back to reality at those decisive words, and he found Cain gazing at him with eyes blazing with unyielding willpower and profound confidence. Ao felt Cain’s determination influencing him, igniting a scarlet glow within his own eyes. The World Will paused briefly, clenched his fists tightly, then bowed once more in understanding before vanishing into the ether to begin his evolution.
Cain’s smile widened as he clearly sensed Ao’s strength beginning to rise steadily. Closing his eyes, Cain focused deeply, expanding his consciousness across all of Aether with ease. In mere moments, he pinpointed everyone’s precise locations. Eventually, his attention settled warmly on two particular women.
One of them was deeply focused, carefully carving intricate runes whose complexity and power surpassed the Soul Realm. The other woman, equally impressive, deftly manipulated flames with dozens of colors that could affec the bodies of Prima Deities.
A gentle smile emerged on Cain’s face as he observed his wives. He acknowledged that he had often fallen short in his role as a husband. His dedication to endless battles and constant cultivation frequently kept him away from them. Although both women understood and accepted this, Cain always strived to create moments in which he could genuinely share his time and affection with them.
"It will be some time before the World Will completes its evolution under Leviathan’s influence," Cain mused quietly, his smile softening warmly. "I might as well take advantage of this pause to be with them."
With that peaceful thought in mind, Cain’s body slowly relaxed, the intensity of his aura calming. For this brief moment, he chose to set aside cosmic threats and interstellar schemes, allowing himself to enjoy a moment of peace with the women who love him.
